Sandy's is charging a fee for using your credit card. This should be a business expense

I would not recommend this cleaners if you expect your clothing to be handled with care. I would give a Zero rating if I could. My clothing was severely damaged, and I was disappointed by the lack of accountability or compensation offered. There was no meaningful effort to address the issue or make things right. This was, without question, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It was highly unprofessional and far below any reasonable expectation. read more

SANDY's Cleaners on Seven Farms had my daughters suit pants for alterations for 24 days. Went to pick up today and they were never touched! She flys back to school tomorrow with no suits. The woman at the counter was completely indifferent. I said, you don't care because it's not your daughter. She said "No, if it were my daughter I never would have come here, I'm just here for the paycheck" o have the managers number but she isn't there until Monday!!!. Needless to say I took the pants and left. I am disgusted that they continue to do business .24 days, no call, no text,Apparently the seamstress broke her wrist before Christmas! read more

The absolute worst but, worse is the bullying on the part of the staff. My item has simply disappeared and I am expected to accept this loss. Worse : My item was a pair of expensive jeans from Khaite size 25. The bully appeared to be a size 25. Very uncomfortable and suspicious situation, probably a simple coincidence but nevertheless...... Don't go there. This location is Daniel Island but I am thinking they are probably just as bad anywhere else. Be warned. read more

Horrible service. I took a couch cover to the Clements Ferry location (not on here) almost a month ago now. No one ever called when it came back in even though I was told they would. When I called 3 weeks after dropping it off, I was told it was in. I went to pick up and it was dirty all around the bottom and had numerous stains on the arms and other places that were not there before. I was told "how do I know you didn't bring it in that way." Seriously? Let's say I did bring it in stained and dirty, wouldn't that be the reason why...For you to clean it. Why would you give it back to me that way? The woman working actually tagged where the dirt was and a black mark when I dropped it off and then tried to me she didn't. I also have pictures of the cover before I brought it in showing exactly where the dirt and the one mark was. I was told they could send it back out. What other choice did I have? I also had already prepaid for it. I received a call later from the woman working saying I had to call Nancy at Ladson because they couldn't get it done by that Friday for me and I'd have to talk to Nancy myself. This was a Tuesday. I needed it for that weekend and that's why I took it in 5 weeks ahead of time. Anyway, she gave me Nancy's number and I called on 10/26. Another woman answered the phone and took my name and number and I still have not heard from anyone and it's now 11/1. I will never use them again and will definitely not recommend. I am no longer a customer. I threw a white T-shirt in with my dry cleaning and they charge me seven dollars. The T-shirt isn't worth a dollar. The customer service response was check your bag. I said no problem, I will just find a new dry cleaners. I would call this place average at best read more

Not bad - only tried it once. Convenient to home. $9.20 to get a suit dry cleaned - not sure if that's good or bad. Will try it again.

I took my chair slipcovers for an annual cleaning. No real stains, they are white and had some yellowing on the one cushion. I took the whole set into get cleaned. It took 2 weeks for the initial cleaning of 5 parts of the slipcover. When I went to pick up the slipcovers on 4/9(which my receipt showed as the pick up date) they werent ready. So when I came back the following Tuesday 3 of the pieces were stained with gravel marks as if someone had dropped the covers on the ground in transport. The main seat cover also had a huge black water stain that was not there before. So I brought the 3 pieces back with photo evidence of the issues. The employee said she would give a refund if they couldnt fix the issues that THEY clearly made. Well I went today to pick up the pieces and sure enough there are even more black water stains on the seat cushion. I called to try and get a refund and was told this is a "learning opportunity for our staff" . They wanted me to bring back the covers for a 3rd time to try and resolve the issue. When I asked for refund I was told "well you brought them in for a reason I guess we could refund you the one piece thats still dirty". I tried to explain at this point you have waisted my time and ruined slipcovers and put new stains on an item that had none before. I would never use this place again or recommend them to anyone. I talked to Sandy herself and this was the jist of what she said, pay for the pieces that were cleaned even if it took two times because my employees messed up. read more

Had to go there 3 times to try and pick up a pair of jeans I needed hemming. Took them over a week. Pretty bad. And no explanation, just that it wasn't ready. read more

My girlfriend went here to get a bridesmaids dress altered. The only thing being done was adding straps. When she picked up the dress the alterations person wasn't there so she had to take it home. After trying on the dress at home, she noticed that the straps were sewn on in different places and one strap was hanging loose and the other was too tight. There was also a hole in the sheer fabric where the strap was sewn. There is now a half inch hole in a $200 dress for a wedding that's in 3 days. This place should never advertise for alterations. I would strongly recommend not having any kind of alteration work done here. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! read more

The service is getting worst and worst, and I don't think Sandy is reading her reviews. I've met Sandy once and she was very nice, but I think she might be getting too many locations to focus on quality control. Every time I pick-up a set of dry cleaning something is ALWAYS wrong. read more

I was a new client and dropped a dress off a few weeks ago, paid for it, went out of town and forgot to pick it up right away. The manager called once to ask me to stop by and I was there within 30 mins. She told me I owed $15 for a holding fee in addition to the cleaning fee. They never mentioned this rule at all at any point. I just paid it so I could get my dress back. The manager is incredibly rude and said some pretty nasty things. read more

I took drapes to be dry cleaned. The person gave me the receipt for about $80. A couple of days after the drapes were to be done, the same person called and told me it would be $200 instead of $80. Long story short, the person who checked in my drapes began making up stories about how she told me that the price could increase and other things that were far from the truth. A manager kept telling me that he would review the video to see if his employee was making up stories. This went on and on with excuse after excuse about not being able to watch the video. Absolutely awful. I left a few items (Winter) at Sandy's during the Summer and came back to find out that they had SOLD all of my stuff. I understand that I mistakenly left them there, however, I received NO email/phone call/anything warning me that they would sell off my clothes? UNREAL. I find it very unethical that they would do something like this - given they were $100 shirts/sweaters. They could of easily called/emailed to let me know. This is absurd and the worst business I've ever encountered. Every one I know has already quit going here because of this incident. read more

Let me start by saying my husband and I have been using Sandy's Cleaners for years with no problem. On our last trip my husband picked up his items and realized when he got home that one of his shirts was missing and he was given someone else's shirt. He brought it back the next day and asked for his missing shirt. Over the next week he was given the run around about his missing shirt being told everything from it was lost, to it was back at the warehouse where it was cleaned, to it was waiting for him to be picked up. No matter who he spoke with, he was given the run around and told the manager would call him. The manager never called, even though we asked her to multiple times and stopped in multiple times. Poorly, poorly run business. After two weeks of trying to track the shirt and manager down to no avail, we've given up and have since brought out business elsewhere. At some point you have to cut your losses and move on but I'd caution anyone using this place in the future! read more

I recently went in to the Daniel Island location to ask if it was possible to get the wrinkles pressed out of a brand new comforter. I was told they could do it and it shouldn't be a problem. I was also told if I prepaid I could get 5% off. When I took the comforter in for pressing I was told there was no discount on household items but yes I could have it pressed. I prepaid $44.00 to have it done. I then received a phone call saying that they could not "only press" but had to wash it but they would not charge me any more. I then asked again if the wrinkles were going to come out and was told they should get most of them. I picked up my comforter yesterday and it is worse than when I dropped it off. I called today to see if I could get my money back and was told by Joann (who checked with a manager) that it went through the process so they could not give me a refund. She also mentioned they didn't have the ironing boards and irons needed for large comforters. Why didn't they tell me this before. I have dealt with many businesses who really want a satisfied customer. This is not one of them. I will NEVER give them my business again and would not recommend them. read more
