I've been to this liquor store on a few occasions and they always have what I need. This particular day, I'd been to 2 liquor stores in search of a large bottle of reasonably priced bubbly, but had been disappointed with prices or lack of big sizes available. Since I was in the area due to visiting a friend, I decided to stop by Cindy's to see if I could find what I was looking for. And of course I did! The selection of bubbly was great! They had a lot of the large bottles in a range of prices. I was able to get a big bottle for $13, which was right in my desired price range. Check out was easy and before I knew it, I was back in my car. Cindy's isn't my neighborhood liquor store but when I'm in the area and need something specific, I know I'll always be able to get it there. read more

Sold expired wine that tasted awful. So check expiration dates on whatever you buy. Otherwise I have never had any problems with anything else. read more

Tried to return a damaged Surfside can (which is the second time I've purchased a 12 pack with a damaged can) to the store for a partial reimbursement or replacement. I was told that since they don't sell Surfside's as singles, there was nothing they could do. They don't get reimbursed by the distributor since the pack was incomplete so they couldn't help us. We usually spend $700 to $800 a year there on alcohol and they couldn't offer a free single replacement of something else? Great service. We'll be shopping elsewhere. read more

The best selection in my neighborhood with super friendly and helpful staff. The have an extensive wine selection and tons of locals beers. There are also a handful of beers/ciders on tap and the staff are happy to let you try and taste before you commit to your crowler of choice. read more

New to the area and decided to check out Cindy's Spirits. Wow, plenty of options with a large selection of beers and wines. There was a tasting of vodkas - tried a few and purchased one that competes with Tito's but at a lower price point. Staff were gracious and friendly. They helped pick three wines to match my dinner menu for a party later that evening. The wines paired nicely with each course. Great local place! read more

This store is really amazing. They have a fantastic selection, and they really know their wines. Every year for Thanksgiving I buy 10 to 15 bottles of a variety of wines. I tell them what types of wine and what types of grape, and the price point that I need, and they have never steered me wrong. It saves me a lot of time from wandering around trying to find what wine to buy. So now when they have a promotion or something like that and they say something is good, I believe them and I try it. And they really have good taste. read more

If you haven't read through my post from check in, they now have Growlers!! If your unsure as to what that is - maybe you shouldn't be drinking beer.. ha! J/K - just picture this, fresh poured beer that you bring home.. usually enough to have a decent night or two of drinking (size depending). They have multiple brew's on tap and the crew working seems to be pretty knowledgeable on each. They even offer a "trade-in" option for those that have old growler bottles. Great selection of wine & beer I pass many liquor stores on my way to Cindy Spirits, of course they sell the same thing but I don't mind driving the extra 12 minutes because no one is as friendly as they are. A longtime Elkridge mainstay (they moved from across the street a few years ago,) Cindy's is located in a strip mall on US 1 with a Rite Aid, Pizza Hut and a grocery store. They are very large and have an extensive selection of beer, wine and liquor. They have a knowledgeable staff who can make expert recommendations for wine and beer, and it is clearly what they love to talk about. They have a section to create your own six packs from singles, a great way to find new craft beers to try. They have also started offering growlers of craft beers and have a chilling well to cool bottles. They have definitely put a lot of thought into the type of store they want to be. read more

Ventured into this liquor store for the first time this weekend even though we've lived nearby for over 2 years. It was absolutely not what we expected for a strip mall liquor store off route 1. They have an amazing selection that rivals local favorite The Perfect Pour. Well it's not quite as big as PP, but they had beers from MD and DE breweries that I've never seen in stores. We were in a hurry but upon first glance saw they carried lots of DuClaw, Flying Dog, Dogfish Head, and some Brewer's Art. The prices were on par with other local places, maybe a little less than Perfect Pour though. Didn't check out the wine selection this trip, we'll be back though. read more

Great local store. It took over when Block Busters left so the parking lot right out front is a little small on busy weekends or holidays but since it is in a shopping center area there are other parking spots that you can use. They carry a nice refrigerated section of wines and beers and they are reasonable priced. Some of the items are often sale priced. They have a decent collection of wines to select from but I wish they had a larger section of Maryland wines. They do carry different popular ones like Boordy, Legends, Solomon Island,etc but only a limited number of varieties for each. They have them all in one section and I am sure it is a space issue. We ventured in there the evening before Thanksgiving and it was crowded but everyone there is friendly and helpful. The lines moved quickly. They were having a wine tasting at this time. They usually have one on Fridays from 4-7. We sampled all of the four varieties and ended up purchasing a nice German Reisling Kabinett, a Villa Jolanda Moscato Rose with a little sparkle to it and a nice sweet red wine from Malvasia Di Casorzo 2011 from Italy. All the wines were around $11 and you recieve10% off any of the wines purchased that are available to sample. They also have a nice free service as you leave. You can put your bottle of wine in a swirling container of water and get your bottle as cool or as cold as you want in a few minutes. Definitely a place we continue to go back to in our neighborhood. Shopping at a small business works when you have places like Cindy's. Service, price and convenient all rolled into one. read more

This liquor store could definitely expand! Their staff is always wonderful, knowledgeable and professional (super hard to find, believe me). The store is smaller but they have everything someone with good taste needs. :) They are happy to order things for you, and always have tastings going on on the weekends (I even do some for them as I work for a promotional company) and they are very nice and helpful. I love Cindy's!! You'd never know it, but this dingy little strip mall off Route 1 has a fantastic liquor store, with a staff that is knowledgeable and friendly. I was stunned to walk in and realize how great their beer selection was. Not quite as huge as Perfect Pour, but cheaper and friendlier. They also have growlers, though they're expensive and none of the options have enticed us enough to get a growler fill yet. read more

One of the best craft beer selections in the state. Option to build your own 6 pack from the most of the offerings. Went on a Wednesday when there is an additional 10% off the beer prices. Wines prices are also competitive and are frequently lower than Total Wine over in Laurel. Aisles are a little tight but worth it for the variety. read more
