We just had coffee this visit but will be back to try more. I ordered an Iced Caramel Apple Butter latte. It was yummy! There are tons of flavors and flavor combos to choose from, plus pastries and of course delicious breakfast options. We saw a biscuit go by and wow! Looked amazing. The staff were so nice and genuinely interested in getting to know us as newbies to the shop. I loved that. A couple of things I think could push this spot over the edge: seasonal offerings for coffees or drinks. They may have this and I could have missed the menu but that would be a great addition if not! I love checking those out at new spots. Another addition could maybe be a little area for cream, sugar, sweetener for regular coffees. All in all I'd recommend giving this place a shot!

This is my only cheat meal of the week and I was looking for bagel carb goodness to go with my college studies. If Yelp would post a zero/one star, that's what I would have given. I'm not sure what was worse-the bagel itself or the person paid to assemble and serve a substandard food product? There's no pride or love here. What kind of a hippie does not love their food or the food they share at a Grateful Dead Show? You need to change your name, as I would be HIGHLY INSULTED if I was a hippie that sold this food. Nothing is homemade or actually cooked here. It's Sysco premade/cooked see-thru Bacon that was not cooked but raw, egg, rubber cheese, and jalapeños borrowed from the 7-11 nacho bar down the street. I'm still trying to find the Asiago on my bagel. I took one bite of this tasteless cardboard that cost $30 plus tip. At least toast the bagel. WTF The new name of this establishment could be "Cardboard Bad Bagel Shop" or "Wolf Bagel Dressed as Sheep Bagel Store". You should apologize to all the descendants of Europe who brought the bagel to the USA for you to ruin. Bad business.

On this visit, we ordered the biscuit egg sandwich, and it was extremely dry with very little flavor--definitely disappointing. What also stood out was the service model. You order at the counter, pick up your own food, and are expected to bus your table, yet there's still an expectation for a tip. That didn't quite align with the level of service provided. Overall, this visit was especially disappointing since it was my wife's birthday and I had suggested we go here. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations.

Honestly, the matcha wasn't my favorite part of the experience. I personally prefer a stronger, more intense matcha flavor, and this one was a little lighter than what I usually like. That being said, pretty much everything else was fantastic. The service was amazing from the moment we walked in. The place is beautiful, and even the music stood out to me. It just had a really good vibe overall. I also loved how extensive the menu is. I went for breakfast, but what caught my attention is that you can order pretty much anything at any time. It's not one of those places where you're limited to breakfast items in the morning. I ordered the Tropical Bowl, and wow. It was honestly one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The coconut lime rice was packed with flavor, the shrimp were cooked perfectly, and there was a sauce on top that tied everything together. The avocado was perfectly ripe, the seasoning was spot on, and the pickled onions and pineapple pico de gallo added so much freshness to the dish. Every bite just worked. I also learned that the owner attended culinary school in Cape Town, South Africa, and spent years cooking while traveling around the world. It was interesting to see how some of those global influences show up on the menu. Even the name "Lekker" comes from a South African word that's often used to describe something delicious or enjoyable, which felt pretty fitting after that meal. They also have pastries, specialty coffee drinks, brunch options, lunch items, and even cocktails. The menu is huge, and there's honestly something for everyone. I also tried a lavender latte with almond milk, and it was excellent. Between the food, the coffee, the atmosphere, and the service, this ended up being one of my favorite stops during my time in Myrtle Beach. If you're visiting Myrtle Beach, this is definitely a place worth checking out.
