The space is really cute and perfect for both art and play for little ones! There's a long bench for making art, shelves full of supplies, and an open area with lots of toys: magnet tiles, a small kitchen set, a small slide, lots of books, and more! Ruth (the owner) is incredibly sweet and patient. The project that she had prepared for us was a painting project where the kiddos could paint using a wide variety of tools (i.e. paint brushes, foam rollers, pom poms, plastic forks and spoons, toy trucks) and then after the paint was dry, we glued on pre-cut pieces to make a snowman. As you can expect from a 2-year-old, most of the kids were done with their art projects in under 10 minutes and moved on to playing with the toys. Ruth actively engaged with the playing kids and brought out new toys (i.e. a bouncy ball and model magic) for the kids to play with. Even though the "class" was technically an hour long, both Ruth and the space were so welcoming that we ended up staying for two hours.

I can't recommend this venue for a kids party enough!!! Ruth was an absolute dream to work with- so…read morecreative and always responsive! She brought our theme to life so beautifully and she's so talented that it shows in all her creative work. We comfortably hosted about 20 kids and 25 adults and catered food from Mordi's Sandwich shop across the street! Ruth had such a fun crafts idea for the kids and seeing my little one's smile was SO worth it!!!

What a fun spot! I found Art Mango through Yelp and I am so glad I did…read more It is located inside of Newport Mall across from Forever 21. Since I am familiar with this mall it was easy for me to find. Just an FYI - You need to pay for parking at Newport Mall which was around $5 for 2 hours. The mall is easy accessible by car, train or bus which is a plus. Upon walking in, it is very spacious. My boyfriend and I were greeted by the owner and chose where we wanted to sit. What I loved about this paint and sip is that we painted with blacklight colors and the canvas was already outlined with what we were painting for the day. First, we followed the outline on our canvas with our paint of choice. Once the outlines were finished, the owner closed the door and turned off the lights so we can fill in the painting and see the blacklight effects. Throughout the paint and sip, throwback music is played which I love and cups as well as wine openers are provided. There is also a bathroom in the back which is a plus since the Mall doesn't have many restrooms throughout it. During the paint and sip, my boyfriend and I shared many cups of wine together, I sang majority of the time (LOL) and we just enjoyed the company of everyone around us while creating our masterpieces. I would definitely come back here. I felt comfortable and had tons of fun!

I love how there is this affordable paint and sip place conveniently right in the mall. You just watch her paint and follow along. They have wine glasses and plastic smocks. There is a bathroom as well. You are able to get as much paint as you need too. I've been to other paint and sip places where they get mad if you ask for paint. Not this place! Super accommodating. Very cute decor inside as well. Definitely recommend for a party!
