    Children's area

We have made the library a part of our family fun. It's conveniently located in Sandy and the staff is informative and helpful. I'm amazed by the selection of media they have and they have almost every topic you can imagine. The children's area is filled with games, stories, and entertainment. Enjoy!

    Too warm!

The study room was unbearable warm. The thermostat in the room said it was 77°. The room next door had a piano which you could hear, so not terribly quiet. Other than that, the library was spacious and clean.

With my last vestiges of electricity I searched library in maps and made my way here. I walked in with headphones on, made my way through an air conditioned, peaceful oasis, that was clean, quiet, and open. No one talked to me or asked me for anything. I sat in a comfortable chair, charged my phone, watched a show on my laptop, sent some emails, and went on my way. Weird to feel totally at home surrounded by strangers in a place I've never been. We don't deserve libraries.

Woahhh now this is a hidden gem if I've ever seen one. Big fan of solid places like these where I…read morecan go study and spend a night evening either by myself or with a group of friends. There is plenty of parking, which is nice seeing as this is Salt Lake City and I typically have to plan on walking 15 minutes no matter where I decide to go. The building itself is in great condition, large library with plenty of computers and places to sit. Nice and open, friendly employees, and a clean atmosphere. There is also a quaint cafe if your stomach starts growling (which is convenient because it's a library, so SHH), I have yet to try out their selections, but you know I will soon. It is also a recreation center, so grab a ball and shoot some hoops! The bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of drinking fountains, basically I'm just saying I'd easily live here. TIPS & TRICKS: * It's in the perfect location, too. Right next to a bus stop (Bus 228). * Nestled off the busy roads of 3300 S and 2300 E, you're close to the 215 Belt Loop if you need to get somewhere else.

I have purchased all my books here since discovering this place. Owner Aaron is a fascinating person to converse with as he knows his titles and most others inside and out. Need a new sci-fi author to follow? Here are a few. Looking to dazzle a dinner with a new cookbook? He's got a million and can tell you which books really pull it off. NOTE: Aaron can order just about any book you want if it's not on the shelves already. Shop local and bring your business to The Printed Garden. Having a solid relationship with an independent bookseller is worth its weight in gold these days.

Everything was priced well too and their service was amazing. What I didn't like was how unorganized the store was. The books were loosely grouped by genre, but that's it. Nothing was in order - everything was just scattered randomly and it made it really tiresome to find something specific. They also didn't have an inventory system to check if they have a specific book. These are REALLY important things to have in a bookstore, but they failed there. The selection was also pretty poor and random. They had some of the big, trending books, but everything else was random or obscure. Overall, I'd recommend going to another used bookstore. This just can't compete with other bookstores in the area and is very lackluster. It's a rural bookstore in a large city.
