We've had our child here since he was 2 months old and he is now almost 18 months. I cannot rave enough about the teachers and director here. Tallie (the director) is so hands on and she knows every child individually and is always transparent with information. We've had some amazing teachers with my son (Kaylee, Shelby, Rojada, Kylie, and Chloe just to name a few). Beware. Current management as of 04/08/2024 has consistently lied and manipulated information. I voiced both legal and ethical matters to management, above, and hr. I was threatened. Children are not being educated to the standards that Kindercare claims. Teachers are walking out, using fowl language in front of children, being too rough physically with children, and threatening other coworkers and their safety. There is obvious favoritism and because of this and lack of passion, the teachers do not get the support and assistance that is needed. I would never allow my child to go here. read more

This is a late review (2years) but I was just reminded that this awful place exists. My son attended and was treated like absolute shit by the "teachers" and the management staff. He is NOT neurotypical and due to this was treated differently until he was kicked out due to a teacher that treated him terribly and was rude to him complained. My son would tell me about his treatment and I would bring it up to management who would blame my son for how staff was treating him. Absolutely terrible place and if you care even a TINY bit about your child's mental health, don't bring them here because the teachers and management are shit. read more

I'm very disappointed with the communication for the past few months. The beginning of the summer they mentioned to me that they might end the school age program due to not enough enrollment. And by the end of the summer/ when school starts, my son will pretty much age out. I'm like cool. I'll plan no daycare when school starts. This past Friday they call the last three school ages kid's parents and said it's their last day here at KinderCare. Without any notice! Not only that they called late afternoon when daycare's around my area were starting to close for the weekend, they decided to do this on an holiday weekend, so I'm stressed out trying to find care for my son because I have to work. They really couldn't give us by the end of the month to find another care??? It's just one week away. I'm a single mom and started a new job and this was stress I did not need! read more

Little to no management organization when it comes to the importance of maintaining consistency and structure with the children. I gave Kylie-director the benefit of the doubt when I've been ensured that staffing issues were going to be fixed, preschool program/curriculum was going to be up and running consistently. Nothing has been fulfilled- my 3 year old had to tell me his teacher mr. Thomas showed aggression and anger. I have missed so many days of work because my son will get sick and parents take their children sick- and they accept kids. My son just caught hand foot and mouth for the second time. Are appropriate actions being taken to help detain sicknesses and keep them at minimum? Absolutely not. They'll teach the 3 year old curriculum MAYBE 1-2 out of the month if they feel like it.Teachers do NOT have the appropriate training nor support from their management- no wonder you have teachers taking it out in children. Dangerous much?. The place smells and stinks and there are some great classes, and some very very sweet teachers in other classrooms. But wheres the consistency with the 3 year old class ? NOPE. it has been MONTHS that things have been like this and nothing improves or changes. And it is not worth my child's safety. They charge me $1,100.00 MONTHLY and provide below average care, overall well being and safety of the children is NOT cared about. read more

I was unable to make it to a father's day event so a friend went in my place. The teacher had the gall to tell my child that only children with fathers present may participate in the gift making activity. They do fine with the normal day to day care, but when they make you child cry all weekend from emotional trauma, I have to make sure all the parents out there know about it. read more

We've been at the Sandy KinderCare for over 10.5 years, basically from infant to school age, only leaving because of Aging Out. We've seen good and not-so-good management during that time but the current management and staff ROCKS! if it wasn't for simply getting old enough to age out we would still be at this Kindercare. Finding childcare is challenging which is why I called here a month before we were planning to move to ask about waitlist etc. I was told there were a few spots coming available around the time we were arriving (excellent!). I was willing to pay in advance to hold the spot in case it filled up before we got there. I was told that wasn't necessary and that they would call me if someone was interested in the spot, so I could decide if I wanted to take it. Nobody called me and when I arrived they said they had "just" filled all the spots and now there was a five month wait. Overall, an incredibly lousy way to treat people. read more

We have been part of the Sandy KinderCare family for almost 6 years. Throughout that time we've experienced a variety of changes, but I have never once felt my child (and now children) were unsafe, uncared for, or unclean (well, as clean as you can expect kids to be! ha!). From the infant to the school age classrooms, my kids have always enjoyed their teachers IMMENSELY. Specifically, Ms. Lisa. Both of my children have had her as a teacher and they love how kind and engaged she is and I love that she truly cares for the kids. Despite the turmoil over the past few months, Melonyi, Heidi, and the rest of the staff have gone above and beyond to help the kids feel safe and secure. Increased cleaning and implementation of new protocols may not be fun for anyone, but everyone here seems to just roll with it. There are three other childcare facilities that are technically closer to our home, however I refuse to go anywhere else. Sandy KinderCare has truly become part of our family. read more

I have both of my children since they were 3 months old. We liked it because it was clean and bright. They are now 2 and 5 years old. The director and her assistant are really passionate about children, keeping things interesting, but also keeping things on track. The director really keeps up on maintenance, projects in each class. They have been accommodating and responsive whenever needed. The only negative point is that i have seen a turn over of teachers in some classes, but it is quite generally in Utah these days. Also the school aged kids could be better structured, but early child hood classes worked out for me. I am sad to leave next summer, and struggling to find a new daycare with good hours, loving and caring teachers, bright, strutured, clean. read more
