For one thing, before you can see the doctor, you must sign a form saying that you've *already* seen the doctor, who has explained to you the procedures to be done and their cost, and certifying that you agree to the procedures and cost (that no one has told you about yet). The potential for abuse is obvious. In the blank box in the middle of the page, they could later fill in $6000 of procedures that I'd never heard about, and because my signature was at the bottom, they could say I agreed to it. I pointed out to two receptionists, separately, why this was a problem, and they both said, in so many words, "Just sign the bottom. We'll fill in what you're agreeing to later," and that unless I lied and signed this form, the doctor would not see me. That wasn't the only iffy form but the was the worst one... the sort of thing an up-and-up business wouldn't insist on. I left without signing, filed a complaint with my health insurer, and am considering filing a complaint with the state.

She came out with a roll of toilet paper and with her bare hands proceeded to roll off sheets of paper for me. I left the paper and her office. I will never return. I am a senior citizen perfectly able to take care of my paper needs and to hand me crumbled paper with her bare hands was not only insulting it was also a testimony to her lack of hygiene.

I was able to get in the next day. It's a small office - Kaufman and one other dentist - in the Port Authority Terminal at the George Washington Bridge. Long story short, due to the nature of my problem I had to make two visits, and I was out of there in less than hour on both occasions. Dr. Kaufman and his staff are very friendly, helpful and gentle, and I've had no problems with his work. Definitely recommended. The only reason for four stars instead of five is the office and equipment seem dated and not as "sterile" as I'm used to - though others may see that as a positive.

Honestly it is a two way street, his office owns half of that process in making sure the patient is set up for success when they arrive.

She explained the procedure and the entire process was painless. If I'm not giving the establishment five stars is because of the billing staff. I pay for three separate dental insurances and I know what I have. They based the entire visit on my primary insurance and made me pay over $500 up front. I did billing for 42 years at New York Presbyterian hospital so I know I'll never see that money refunded to me. Because it took me two days to get them on the phone for an appointment, so reaching them for refund when they get the check will be next to impossible. I would still recommend the surgeon because she's very nice, professional and does an amazing job. Just make sure you can afford going there.

I have had fillings replaced and cavities worked on in the past, but nothing like with Dr. Dibbini. It was virtually pain free. I did not have to get stabbed with a needle over and over. The doc was precise and I was perfectly numb after the first injection. The filling replacement was fast and painless. Been going there for 10 years so we figured ok. They took the card and charged 152 dollars without our consent, when asked why, they said there is a remaining balance from my previous visit. Upset how they went about it instead of being honest and upfront about it they did it in a very shady way. I called my insurance and was told there was no remaining balance and it sounds as they are charging you as an out of network patient to make up the difference. Really unethical what they did
