I've always appreciated the peace of mind this gives me, but I'm writing a review now because they recently went above and beyond with service. I was in Germany when the recent (Jan. 2024) arctic front hit. I e-mailed R & L and asked whether they could enter my house, check on things, and do all the things we do to keep pipes from freezing. They responded immediately with, "Yes, of course." On the day I arrived home, Spokane was hit with record snowfall. Yet by the time got to Sandpoint, all snow had been cleared in driveways and parking areas near the house and I could drive right into my garage. Frozen pipes all over the county but all is well in my home.

They were there when I had a problem, took care of it immediately, and even typically did more than what I had even anticipated. If you are thinking of renting a place, I would not hesitate for a second to rent from these guys. If you are looking to have someone manage your home, they will take care if it like it is their own. Wonderful people, and I truly miss renting from them.

My wife and I stayed here from 8/22/17-9/3/17 and another couple joined us on 8/24/17-9/3/17. The three level townhome is ideal for any size group, with or without children.There are 4 master bedrooms each with full bathrooms.The entrance level or mid-level houses the garage, kitchen area, dining area, living area, 1/2 bath and large balcony with panoramic views of Lake Pend Oreille & the Cabinet Mountains.The upper level houses (3) MBR's, laundry room and a balcony off the main Master BR with the same panoramic views.The lower level houses a family area, dining area,1/2 bath, patio area with large grill and a hot tub.In the rear section of the lower level is the children's bunkbeds area and (1) MBR with a full bathroom. A member of our party had limited mobility and the included elevator was so much help for her in which to navigate the three floors! The townhouse also includes access to its community pool, hot tub, fitness center, private beach w/lounge chairs & umbrellas and boat slips with dockhand services.The 606 owners provided an extra dock slip during the summer season so we had friends moor their pontoon boat for our fishing & sight seeing trips on this very large lake.The owners also provided mountain bikes and a beach cruiser bike for our use. Did I mention location? Walking distance to City beach, Downtown Sandpoint, Market Square, restaurants, taverns, stores and walking/biking trails in every direction in this premier biking town. Whether you are a small, medium or large group, I highly recommend this townhouse and if its available next summer we definitely plan to return maybe with a larger group.

    DO NOT RENT ANY OF THEIR PROPERTIES!!! We rented a house for…read more3 nights on South Idaho Club Drive. It was so close to SH 200 that you could hear nothing but passing traffic all day. Not relaxing at all. The driveway is so narrow by the garage, it nearly makes it impossible to turn around to drive back down the driveway. We found a dead frog in the hot tub on day one and immediately notified the company. They sent out someone to "sanitize" it. DISGUSTING! The tub should have been drained, cleaned and refilled. They just expected it to be used. It stunk so bad it made everyone nauseated just opening the cover. There were spider webs all over the beams under and around the decking, making it very uncomfortable to walk around and dodge spiders. There was dirt and debris all over the deck areas and a hose that was just laid out on the deck that wasn't put away. We ran out of coffee the 2nd day and there were pieces of trim falling off the sliders leading to the deck, which restricted our ability to close a bedroom door leading to the exterior of the home. This was fixed when we messaged management, but they told us to limit use. Ya, ok, I'm paying 3k for a weekend at your "awesome" home and cannot use a door to exit onto the deck from my bedroom. There was a mounted surveillance camera on the back deck that watches you when you're outside. VERY CREEPY! When you bring these issues up, Daughtery just plays it off as no big deal. This company stinks and their businesses practices are terrible. They wouldn't even entertain some sort of refund due to our inability to use the house as marketed. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!!!!

    There was no hot water at the property, something Sandpoint Vacation Rentals knew about before we…read morechecked in and did not disclose to us until we spent a day trying to get a hold of someone on the phone to get the water turned on. They avoided us until a day later while any other available rentals filled up, denying us the opportunity to receive a refund and stay at a different property. As it turns out, the water heater was broken and they would not be sending someone out to fix it. When we asked if they had any other suggestions on how to solve this issue we were told, "This is just how it's going to be." Sandpoint Vacation Rentals said they'd come up with something to help us out and would call us back. 4 days later (and after we've checked out) we've yet to receive a call or message back from them. This property is on the top of a mountain and the water (ice melt) is so cold it makes your skin sting every time you feebly attempt to wash a dish, take a shower, or wash your hands. Sandpoint Vacation Rentals were uncommunicative, unavailable, and uninterested in helping us out. I wonder how they'd behave if they had 8 of their family or friends in this situation. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they'd let their mother freeze for a few bucks. I am also posting this review on their website at https://sandpointers.com/review.html. I'm sure it won't be there if you checked on it right now. They only have eight reviews and they're all five stars. Yeah, right. Incompetent at every turn. Don't give them your money and don't let them manage your property.

    BEWARE!!! I am SO…read moredisgusted with the way my lease with Sandpoint Vacation Rentals is going I AM RETAINING AN ATTORNEY. I am a seasoned real estate broker from California who leased a rental home from SVR and Brad Golphnee for a period of one year beginning less than three weeks ago. What a mistake. I took six days off of work and drove 1,200 miles to view a listing that was SORELY MISREPRESENTED online. The photos were several years old and in no possible way could be current. I was out of time and, I had already committed to such a distant location with no reasonable replacements available. I rented the property anyway. What a mistake. The office staff that support Mr. Golphnee (that is, run the company while he is MIA) are professionals who are fantastic! I would gladly work with any of the leasing staff or even hire them however, they are NOT at all representative of the principal management at the firm; Brad Golphnee. Sadly, nothing compensates for a lack of management oversight and, the staff could not make up for the companies "principal" trying to save a few dollars at my expense... even after I cleaned dog urine, dog feces and broken glass of the prior resident, at my own rental, on my move in date... which was enough past my "occupancy date" to have given SVR time to clean it thoroughly... they were STILL trashing out truckloads of garbage three or four days after I was supposed to move in. That's in addition to my cleanup efforts when I arrived, late at night, to filth. I stopped "helping" clean when I got to RANCID BLOOD POOLS on the property, in the cabin (which had soaked raw wood plank floors). I asked the person handling the trash out that they contact the property manager Brad Golphnee immediately. The first response from Brad was to pour engine degreaser on the rancid blood pools and scrape them up. Several days later... the second response was to offer to sand it... oh, and I had already had all of my RESTORATION HARDWARE furniture moved into the house (1,200 miles from California) at a cost of over $10,000.00 and it was all stored in the blood stained area that Brad wanted "sanded"... despite repeatedly saying NOT TO SAND the area and damage my furniture... Brad Golphnee, through his staff, while remaining anonymous, repeatedly offered to sand the area and insisted on entry repeatedly to sand and bleach the area... I repeatedly said I did NOT want bleach nor bloody sawdust near my personal property. Brad, the manager actually wanted to spray bloody sawdust (and a biohazard) all over my personal belongings. Um, no thank you Brad. Just... No thank you. SVR repeatedly offered to bleach and sand the area. I did NOT want the area sanded nor bleached. I asked that they remove the blood stained wood planks, which I was disgusted by, and they repeatedly declined. Sadly, in California, disasters, destruction and a separation caused me to consider moving out of California for some R&R at the most remote, cabin-like home I could find. "Sadly" number two, I did not find the refuge I was seeking but, instead found nothing but stress, problems and a loss of what I calculated at $30,000.00 in time, money and effort... down the tubes. My separation is going better than my tenancy with Brad Golphnees company. Secondly, the owner operator of this firm CLEARLY has trained his staff NOT to provide his contact info. No matter how much you have a problem with BLOOD STAINS. Don't expect to get the owner operator to call you back. He is a "somatic mens coach" whatever that may be so, he is closing 'gender gaps' at some retreat or something (per his website about somaticising) and, he cannot be found... not even by a trained real estate broker... no matter how much you call the office staff and ask for his contact info. No matter how upset you are.Have zero expectations if you rent from Brad. Further, I paid at least THREE months of rent, in advance, upon acceptation of the contract, all the way from my desk in California, and, although I have had possession of the property for less than two weeks (my belongings are there but, I have to work in California) the company is ALREADY forcing entry to show the property to new residents after I requested a cancellation of contract yet, THEY HAVE NOT SENT ANY CANCELLATION and THEY WILL NOT ISSUE A REFUND. THEY HAVE OVER THREE MONTHS OF RENT INTO THE FUTURE AND THEY ARE FORCING SHOWINGS ON THE PROPERTY STATING THEY CAN DO SO IF THEY PLEASE. (Just FYI... this is how people get their nice stuff stolen when they live out of state and are separated from their personal property by 1,200 miles)... so, plan on missing work to prevent theft of your personal property. Plan on babysitting an unethical situation instead of relaxing in the country. Rent here and, you may have to move twice.

Some RE agents just get in the way of deals and collect their fee, but Paul guided and advised expertly from start to finish. He is a well known and well respected insider in the greater Sandpoint area and so he was able to show us the home of our dreams and, more importantly, use his connections to get us into the deal and get it closed. Paul put us in touch with a 1031 facilitator and selling agent in San Diego with whom he had a track record, and kept the Sandpoint seller on board while the transaction unfolded. I was a top commercial real estate broker in San Diego so I know good service when I see it, and Paul Reisen is the best.

With absolutely no exaggeration, I would say that Mistie is far and away the best realtor I've ever worked with. She listed my home in Sandpoint and stayed in contact with me with every showing. I never had to guess as to what was taking place with those showings because Mistie was always relaying the information so I was aware of everything that was taking place. And my home sold in 9 days with a price that was completely satisfactory. I wish I could give her 10 stars, but 5 seems to be the highest I can post.
