Called my jewelry quality "red flag" which was not only rude but incorrect - overall her demeanor and method of checking my jewelry was very low class and pathetic. Measured the jewelry wrong too (so their scales are not reliable fyi) and not in front of me; speaking of red flags. This wasn't the first place I went for a quote - all other jewelry stores were respectful so this was a first and surprising. Maybe she was just one uneducated lady working there. What's funny is that I have exact record and knowledge of my jewelry with paper work so all it did was make me think this business hired an inexperienced, ill mannered and pathetically rude woman. Wouldn't go there again. If I was the business owner I'd definitely check in - customers are not stupid and it's better to just admit you don't know about a certain item or you low ball because of your personal profits. Don't disrespect someone's valuables and always be kind. Also, get a XRF spectrometer you guys ;)

Whether I'm planning a purchase or just dreaming about it, I always find many, many items I love. Every, EVERY time I walk in the store I'm greeted by name. These folks genuinely appreciate their customers. No hard sell. They listen. Their product knowledge is fantastic. We've regularly purchased many things over the years. We initially purchased hubby's wedding band at Tiffany, but returned it because Skatell's bands were so much more unique and meaningful. They sell add a pearl necklaces and have had the beautiful pearls every year. They carry a nice price range of both men's and women's jewelry and watches. The repair department of this store is fantastic. I've had many items that I've had forever in need of a new clasp, to be restrung, modified. These folks do it all and truly, truly appreciate your business.

I went in looking for a beaded necklace in my colors (I'm a light spring) and Jenna helped me find a handful of options that would work for me. I am a very indecisive person and Jenna guided me towards the one that looked the best with my features; she was so knowledgeable! I wanted to stack my new beaded necklace with others that I was already wearing and Jenna suggested I add an extender- 10/10 recommend because it gives you more options and you won't be stuck with just the one length. Also- Jenna helped me flip a necklace I had (unknowingly) been wearing backwards. Jenna, thank you for being the first person to actually say something and help me make it look right, I appreciate you! Hermosa has my business from here on out!

Both said they could clean my rings but didn't know anything about rhodium. Do I said fine, just clean them. I was then told it would take 2 weeks!! The jewelers son was sick and they were behind. I was stunned. I said never mind and left. I've always dealt with extremely knowledgeable people at Reeds, Ron, etc. These kids didn't seem to know anything about fine jewelry.
