Another mechanic actually said, in writing, this was gross negligence due to the amount of things put back together incorrectly. They don't know what they are doing. I drove my car to the appointment and then when service was "completed" it was not able to be turned on and needed to be towed! We actually thought parts were stolen off my car given the amount of issues. I was then repeatedly threatened for payment (while my car was broken down because of them). they could not even turn the car on to check to see if their work was correct. I was told "it doesn't matter if you aren't happy with the service". My car was worse than when I left it with them, I couldn't turn my car on and it took a specialist to figure out what they had done. Horrible, a nightmare, please don't use them because they will do a botch job and then threaten you for payment.

Would they let me use that even though I paid for they let me use it in the past but this time they would not let me use it so what they did was leave Disable veteran stranded on the side of the road, who could not change his tire. I really appreciate what AAA did to me. That's why I did not renew my membership and never will again be a member of AAA. I cannot believe what they did to me after being a member for all that time.

It's in central Florida about 73 miles south of Orlando and slightly farther from Tampa. I happened to lock my keys in my running car while it was on a boat ramp at a lake. Now that's a talent. I had just brought my boat in and loaded it on the trailer and when I went to leave I discovered I locked the keys in the car! I was a AAA member so I called them, thinking it would be like it was back here in St. Louis, just a 30 - 45 minute wait. WRONG! They informed me that the closest AAA garage was in Tampa, over 90 minutes away. I told them to forget it. I called a friend who came and drove me back to my house where I kept a spare set of keys in the storage shed. Now I'm back in St. Louis and needed to call AAA for help with my wife's 13 year old car which wouldn't start. I suspected it was the battery since it was over 4 years old. This time when I called AAA road service "Oscar" arrived 20 minutes later. God I love living in a major metropolitan area again! Oscar ran some tests and determined that we did indeed need a new battery, and that everything else related to the electrical system seemed to be fine. The price Oscar quoted was $41 cheaper than what it cost us at Firestone to replace the battery 4 years earlier, and the warranty was better. I gave Oscar the green light to do the replacement and watched him work. He spent a fair amount of time cleaning up the corrosion that covered the positive post, as well as the battery housing. I have been a AAA member most of my adult life, and they continue to make it worth my while to invest in their road service. I may go a year or two without needing it, but when I do, I'm glad I've got it.
