My pre surgery contact was nothing less than professional. I received calls and texts reminding me of appts. Preop screening was done over the phone -saving me a trip. Billing called the day before to remind me to bring: insurance cards, ID, etc & what my copay On the day of surgery the registration office was in the same room - no trekking all over the hospital looking for offices. Once I signed in I received a text when registration was ready for me, the nurse text me that she would be out shortly etc. My wife & I were brought back to the preop area and prepped quickly allowing each provider plenty of uninterrupted time to talk with me. Each step in the process was fully explained so there would be no surprises. My wife was able to follow my progress via text . The recovery room stay was quick - within an hour of coming out of surgery I was in the car and on my way home. Everyone I came into contact with was professional, knowledgeable and enjoyed their job. As a surprise I received a get well card in the mail. It was signed by the surgeon, nurses & the anesthetist involved in my care. Truly a professional experience. If you w to are having a day surgery and this place is an option you'd be foolish to go elsewhere. The other hospitals in Albuquerque could learn something here.

Presbyterian Medical Group 401 San Mateo Blvd. SE…read moreAlbuquerque, 87108 Technician: Gresa Sylejmani DO Confusion, frustration, pain and suffering. On 6/14/24 I had an appointment with the technician listed above. I did not ask for this person, I was assigned to her after a difficult and dangerous stay I had at Rust Medical Center. You can read a review of that stay in another posting here on Yelp, and on Google reviews. Customers should be able to pick their providers after the medical group provides at least three possible candidates including a Bio, and a CV on each one. At that appointment I was complaining of UTI like symptoms and discoloration on the skin of my penis. She asked for a urine test for bacteria to rule out a UTI. The result was negative. In spite of this she prescribed Bactrim for me to take. She did not physically examine me. When I told her about the rash on my skin she referred me to dermatology. Presbyterian has no dermatology department, they contract with other businesses. In this case it was Southwest Dermatology. I left the appointment feeling confused and frustrated as though nothing had been resolved because there was no diagnosis on her part. The following Monday I contacted the Southwest Dermatology and they cheerfully gave me an appointment of OCTOBER 3, 2024! So now I am taking an antibiotic and waiting for a dermatology appointment three months away. By this time my symptoms had worsened. By 4 AM Tuesday I my skin was red blistered and swollen. I could not stand the pain any longer. I began driving from one Urgent Care to another. They were all closed. I returned home and tried to collect myself. After looking for urgent care centers on my phone, I found New Mexico Urgent Care and went to the location on Juan Tabo near Comanche. I talked with a male NP there. He asked if I was taking any medication, and I told him about the Bactrim. He said that it was not a good choice because taking antibiotics can induce a yeast infection and/or prolong it. He said, "I think you have balanitis". He then looked at my skin and prescribed two antifungal tablets one to be taken that evening, and if symptoms did not improve, take the other in 72 hours. I did not improve. I texted Sylejmani and asked her if I should take the other tablet. She said yes. As you can imagine, I was feeling conflicted, confused and angry. I was also in pain. Another two days passed and was not improving. On 6/20/24 I went to the new PresNow facility on Menaul near Pennsylvania. I got there at about 11 AM. There was only one person sitting in the waiting room. I was quickly admitted. I was taken to the back and placed in a chair surrounded by ill fitting curtains. I could easily see the woman to my left and she could see me. I could also hear almost everything being discussed around me. In all I was seen by three different people not including lab technicians. I was there a total of 2 hours and 35 minutes. The time I spent with various technicians could not have been more than 15 minutes. I left there feeling exhausted and frustrated. They told me that test results would be sent to Sylejmani. Another day passed and there was not improvement. I did not know what to do or who to turn to. I began searching online for answers as well as going to various health food stores looking for remedies. I was lost and upset. I then texted Sylejmani again telling here that I was having a lot of pain and I was not improving. She suggested going to an urgent care center or making another appoint with her or someone else at the San Mateo clinic. All of those appointment were out at least 3 weeks. Out of desperation I returned to New Mexico Urgent Care and another provider prescribed an antifungal ointment. The ointment seemed ineffective. I was at the end of my patience and feeling angry because the situation continued. Out of desperation I contacted an old dermatologist I had used in the past and begged for an appointment. I got one in a few days due to a cancellation. He looked at me and the various things I had been prescribed and just shook his head. He said, "That isn't going to work". He prescribed a tablet and two different ointments. It took about eight days, but at last I was beginning to improve. I am very disappointed in Presbyterian and in Gresa Sylejmani. I texted her to tell her so. She only said in her defense that I was mentioning new symptoms and that she was not able to evaluate me without another appointment. Well, we know what getting another appointment with her requires. And it is not as though I did not try to access her or one of her co-workers, or another facility. It is unconscionable for Presbyterian and its employees to prescribe without proper evaluation and examination. Also the wait times at all of these places is unacceptable if you are in pain.

FNCH is a community disgrace…read more Last October, I was a victim of Domestic Violence. My SOCIAL WORKER therapist, Chana, didn't respond to my phone calls or emails about my dire situation. I stressed to her that I needed immediate help. This assault triggered my PTSD. The assault and damage that my brother did caused me to get an eviction notice and a bill for restitution because he went missing. I had to perform an emergency move, which I had no money to perform. In April, I "lost" my sister to Alzheimer's, and because of not being able to speak to any therapist, put me in a tailspin into deep depression, anger, breakdowns, rage to the point of wanting to hurt people, self-harm, and now I am financially ruined because I had become a zombie and could barely perform basic living tasks. It has taken me almost nine months to recover enough to clean and bathe. Since the assault, I've had almost a dozen visits with my RN PCP about this situation. I don't fault her, but I believe she knew that FNCH doesn't have the resources to help me. She did refer me to the Neuroscience Center, but I caught the owner and office manager in a lie. The office manager said in an email that Sage (https://sageclinic.org) doesn't have psychologists with PhDs. Those are psychologists best educated for treating people with my form of PTSD. The owner responded to my review, stating that they had those psychologists, but there were no appointments available. He also replied to my AI analysis of ABQ's behavior health crisis and agreed with me. When I moved to ABQ two years ago, I thought I had visited a third-world country in the International District (Warzone). ABQ brought in the National Guard (absolutely ridiculous considering the absurd number of rent-a-cops and police patrolling--pathetic), I know, tangent... I am so fed up. Next week, I will search for an attorney to see what actions can be taken against FNCH and the therapist who abandoned me in a crisis. IMO, FNCH fails at helping the community with behavioral health issues because they don't have a psychiatrist to prescribe medication, nor do they have any psychologists!!!!!!!!!!!!! They don't even have Medical Doctors!! Only RN's! I would like to know who our PCP RNs consult with for advice on their patients' issues. I thought doctors were supposed to oversee them. In any case, I'm going after FNCH to help others besides the drug addicted street people. MY RN PCP referred me to another RN for therapy this past December, and I am still waiting!!! I bet that FNCH gets more $$$$$ from them as patients than a "normal" patient. I want answers, and I will get them no matter what actions I must take!! Months ago, I left a review on FNCH's site, but they didn't post it. Today, I left a second review, and if they don't post it, people will know that FNCH only posts positive reviews. The community needs transparency, and reviews shouldn't be censored.

It wasn't until after I paid and after the surgeries that he said he couldn't guarantee results but he never said that before I went through with it. Another Dr has to fix his mess and told me the rhinoplasty was the worst he's ever seen, along with the chin liposuction. He didn't go all the way through, he went half way, causing a double chin, which I didn't have before and I do not gain weight. I've been 120 since high school. He did not address the issues I asked. The tip was to be removed like the picture which was my main concern. Instead, the tip was left in tact, not even addressed, and he made my nose bulky and changed my nostrils which I did not ask for and my nose looks worse than it did originally. I went with him bc he was affordable but I realize now he's affordable bc he doesn't know faces. He did the surgery without addressing the actual issue and created an asymmetrical nose when it was symmetrical, all I needed was the tip removed. Don't go with this Dr just because he's affordable. I found a better Dr who charges more, however, his rhinoplasty reviews are all positive, not like here, most of these reviews are body surgeries, not the face. I would not recommend him if you want the results you pay for. The rhinoplasty completely destroyed my face and one nostril is bigger than the other. I recommend saving for a bit longer, don't choose this office just because it's affordable. You will get what you pay for and I know that now. He even yelled at me for calling him out and when I left the room, two patients waiting in the lobby told me they couldn't believe he raised his voice at me bc they heard him. This Dr destroyed my face, created asymmetrical nostrils, did not address the tip which the picture clearly showed was the only area to touch, destroyed my chin, which I had done to create a better jaw formation, instead now I have a double chin, and he lied before I paid, and after the surgery, said he couldn't promise results. If you want results, go elsewhere. This Dr lies, doesn't address the issue, and yells, which is unprofessional. Worst mistake of my life and now I'm botched and I have to get it redone by a more experienced Dr.
