I was considering having an upper bleph done. I researched many surgeons. Dr mayberry made me feel comfortable immediately. I got a breast augmentation with Dr. Mayberry in March and I had such a great experience with both him and his team. I could tell immediately over the initial phone call with Kristina that I loved the vibe of the office and was excited for my consultation. Dr Mayberry is a great and transparent surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner but he's also just really cool. The whole experience was quick and painless (mostly). I love my results. He also uses an app where communication with him and his team is very quick and that is very reassuring. 10 out of 10. Will definitely be seeing him in the future. read more

As seen in the attached photo the botched gynecomastia surgery by Dr. Mayberry left me with a deformed chest that causes me daily depression every time I see It. As I later learned from online research and consultations with other surgeons my chest deformities are the result of Dr. Mayberry's failure to follow the fundamental rule of gynecomastia surgery which requires that some tissue be left in order to maintain some shape and support the breasts. Instead, (as Dr. Mayberry actually boasted about) he removed ALL of the tissue which left me with large indented areas known as craters along with significant sagging folds of skin. Although I have had two costly subsequent surgeries by two different gynecomastia specialists they made only modest improvements because of the difficulty of undoing the damage once it has been done. To date, I have spent more than $25,000 on the three surgeries. Looking back I now realize that there were red flags of Dr. Mayberry's incompetence for this type of surgery. At my final consultation the day before my surgery Dr. Mayberry casually mentioned that he only had one person who was unhappy with his surgery. He claimed that actually it was not the patient who was unhappy with his result but that it was his girlfriend. He also said another patient lost all feelings in his nipples after the surgery but that the patient did not care. After he completely botched my surgery I find Dr. Mayberry's comments downplaying the dissatisfaction of those other patients not credible. Now that I know of Dr. Mayberry's disregard of the fundamental rule of gynecomastia surgery I suspect he has had other patients who have had bad results. Finally, in addition to his incompetence Dr. Mayberry's arrogance and inability to admit any mistakes was very offputting. In a visit after my surgery when I pointed out the various crater areas he was defensive and hostile and immediately shot back "that's because you came here and told me you wanted all that tissue taken out!" I did not say that nor would I have presumed to say any such thing. I came to him to see if I was a good candidate for gynecomastia surgery and after he assured me that I was I left the manner and performance of the surgery to his professional judgment and skill. Unfortunately I learned the hard way that my trust in his competence was completely unwarranted. read more

Scheduled a appointment over phone. Wasted time out of my busy schedule and they never called. Found someone better.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mayberry and his crew. At every point during the process of deciding on my surgery, any questions I had, etc. they were AMAZING. Every single person I dealt with EVERY SINGLE TIME was so sweet and helpful! 10/10 recommend and will 100% go back if I get any more plastic surgery read more

Large bags under eyes where everyone would tell me how tired I look. Now I'm told I look fabulous. Recommend Dr. Mayberry highly.

Dr Mayberry & his staff were very friendly, personable and informative. I received a lot of realistic information regarding the services and results I hope to achieve. I highly recommend them. I feel very comfortable and confident with his level of expertise and that of his highly qualified staff. His office is modern and great uptown location. There are some services that are done in office and others done at the hospital. His prices are fair and realistic. read more

Rude staff, unclean office, and completely disrespectful. I paid 50.00 for a consult a didn't even get to speak with the doctor. The assistant I spoke with was rude and unhelpful. She made it a point to repeatedly tell me that I had too much fat for my desired surgery and that I need to get multiple surgeries instead. I understand that I need work which is why I approached the clinic. However, highlighting "how fat" I am could have been done in a much kinder way. My concerns were not addressed. I scheduled with the plastic surgery institute instead and the difference has been significant. Polite manners and kindness go a long way. Lacking such things has cost the Mayberry clinic a patient. read more

I bought a Groupon for a peel which is essentially a type of facial. It is supposed to make your skin peel some thus generating new skin growth. Mayberry's Office is not wholesome and it's business practices are deceptive. Some of what happened could be Groupon's fault, but definitely most of it seems to be attributable to Mayberry. Here's the summary: I buy Groupon for facial, it looks like a good deal because it said "$65 for facial valued at $125." After facial, I'm showing girls my Groupon, which when I pull up the voucher itself says, "Good for $65 *towards* facial." The girls and I chat about this and I say, that doesn't make any sense; I wouldn't have just made essentially a large downpayment for a facial through Groupon. If I was going to pay full price, I would go somewhere I already know I like. The girls agreed and took the voucher to mean: facial costs $65 because Groupon, only tax remaining to be paid. That was ok, but it made me curious enough to ask how much this type of facial normally costs. All three girls said "$75." SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS. No way that is how it was advertised on Groupon. I would never, ever go through the hassle of getting a Groupon for a $10 discount. (It's possible it was advertised as less than $125, but it was definitely a 3 digit starting with a one.) I went home to see if they were still advertising this facial, and you can see the pic below. In this example, Mayberry offers it as $65 for $100 facial. It's possible that's what I originally bought and that my memory of it being worth $125 is a bit off, but here you can definitely see that they are falsely promoting their products. Also, the facial was crap, I didn't peel one tiny bit. And the room was cold and uncomfortable. Even if it weren't for the issues described above, I would not return. Last words, there's a site called RealSelf where people review cosmetic procedures and there are some pretty blatantly fake reviews there for Mayberry. I would be skeptical of the positive reviews on Yelp as well. read more

I recently had a procedure done by Dr. Mayberry and I cannot express enough how happy/excited I am with the results. He's a true artist, very personable, and always took time to answer my questions. His staff is amazing and very friendly as well. I was nervous going into this but after my first consultation I knew immediately he was the right doctor, after already having several other consultations. I had a botched surgery in my 20's and was looking for someone who could help me. I never thought I'd have the results I do after my surgery. I knew what he was fixing wasn't going to be easy. Dr. Mayberry talked me through the process while setting clear expectations. I am beyond grateful and really wished I had reached out sooner! read more

I find it amazing that Dr. Mayberry could never bothered to schedule a follow up or return my calls immediately after the procedure when things went badly, but can respond to reviews online. I am also disappointed about the false claims made by this provider in response to my post, as follows: -COVID 19 wasn't a factor in this clinic abandoning me after a bad outcome- I had my procedure one month before any state shut downs or before COVID was being discussed as a serious threat. I had my procedure in person, and called the clinic about the bad outcome the next day. The numerous calls weren't returned by Dr. Mayberry. The rude receptionist (Nicole) who called back was in fact still in the office working normally, no COVID shutdown or issues at the clinic and just kept saying the numbness would go away in a couple days. Of course, the nubness because it turned out severe nerve damage, per the doctor I had to seek out on my own because I didn't receive follow up care from Mayberry or his clinic. -Dr Mayberry hopes my "symptoms" have resolved. I have diagnosed nerve damage which may not resolve at all. Obviously I posted that I still have arm numbness months after this procedure, so this is not a normal outcome at all and the "symptoms" have not resolved. Mayberry would know this if he had bothered to follow up and further assist me in finding a course of treatment, as he is required to do as a licensed physician. Abandoning patients is not part of the standard of care he is required to follow. -Miradry may likely be safe for those who know how to use it. If the person was so well trained as Mayberry claims, why couldn't she turn on the machine, figure out how to apply the templates, ensure the machine worked correctly throughout the procedure? Why did severe nerve damage result if it is so safe? There is medical literature nerve damage with Miradray, why it occurs and how to ensure it doesn't happen. Mayberry's clinic was obviously ignorant in how to prevent the nerve damage that happened in my case. read more

I received the first half of my treatment and have been trying to complete it for TWO YEARS. I have called a dozen times and have been told everything from "we aren't working during COVID" to "we can't schedule you until we hire more people" to "the doctor is too busy with other procedures to do yours". Had I known this office would only do half my treatment, I would've gone elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE before you commit to paying thousands for something that may be left uncomplete. read more

Incredibly difficult to get a return call from this office . Follow ups are horrendous with no regard for patients time. I had many of my questions answered, however my entire consultation ran about 1 1/2 hours. A little to long. Most of that was waiting. Sense my late teens I suffered late puberty, and extremely small breast. We're talking a -34A (does that even exist?) I had a child at 29, and like most women I breastfed, and your breast never look the same. It really downed my self confidence as a women. I have considered breast implants for a great sum of years, but delayed myself as I was Active Army sense I was 17; and breast just 'got in the way,' especially with the gear and equipment in my job field as Military Police. I'm 31 years old now, and retired from the Military, and I decided after a lot of research to push forward and get the breast implants to help boost up my self confidence, and I could not be happier. Doctor Mayberry and his team of staff are highly professional. Everything is explained step-by-step and/or a start-to-finish process. He has an artistic eye, and for the first time in my life (true statment) I actually feel like a women. I decide on a 400cc silicon breast, with the incision under the breast. My only suggestion to myself -- "I should have gone bigger." -Lol. I had zero surgery side effects, and the surgery team "Sadia Surgical Center," Where highly professional team of staff.
