Sanderling Nature Center: This is a well-done nature center located within Kohler-Andre State Park. Although the park's origins date back to the 1920s, the current nature center was not built until 1999. Besides live animals, there is a plethora of taxidermy animals and insects that are always on display. Lastly, visitors can also go up on the roof (observatory) to take in vast views of deep blue Lake Michigan and the rolling majestic golden dunes. read more
