Not only was I wrong, but I was astonished of how much the pricing, selection and availability was so much better at Wheelwright Lumber! The molding prices such as my base and casing was dollars per foot cheaper! The quality of the lumber doing my basement was far better and less expensive. The doors were built better, less expensive and quicker than what the box stores told me. BFS isn't interested in the little guy, Wheelwright Lumber not only helped me out, but made a lifetime customer as they treated me with respect and the service was bar none! Wasn't sure they sold to the public, but they do and learned they are locally owned and a Utah business! Since I moved here from San Fran, I was lost and told box stores was the only way to go. Don't feed into the hype of these other sheep on here giving Wheelwright a bad name, they been in business for over 100 years for a reason I learned and yet they only have one store! That in itself says a lot!

Their material quality is better than most in the area. I highly recommend Wheelwrights for your building needs. On the rare occasion I've encountered a defective product they are quick to change it out for me. I also appreciate Wheelwrights commitment to the community. They are constantly sponsoring local events that support the community. This company doesn't forget about the little guy. They are here to help and a great place to do business with.

Unfortunately I gotta give a 1 star review, which I don't do often…read more I order some decorative rock, but I feel like I was shorted by almost half. I ordered enough for 2" to cover my backyard, but I barely have enough to cover 1 layer of 3/8" rock. So just doing the math I feel like I'm short by at least half. I've also ordered rock from Sandees before, and I got exactly what I measured & ordered. So I think I know how to measure cubic yards. Next time I will order from sandees again I called and asked what happened, but they said they couldn't do anything about it. No 'we'll sell you more at a discount' or 'I'll come by and measure to confirm we shorted you' And another thing: the rock they delivered was so dirty -- I'm talking every single rock covered in dirt so the pile is brown -- that I guarantee it threw off their measurement system. I asked if they compensate for how dirty their decorative rock are and they said no. I've been taking a pressure washer to the rocks I have for the last 3 days and I still have a lot to go. The water turns the dirt to mud and the rocks are so thin that it's just really not ideal. Finally, when the rocks were delivered on my curb, the rocks spilled over into my other decorative rock of a different color. So I had to manually pick out the dirty brown rocks from the nice white rocks I got some sandees. This isn't a big deal, but was annoying enough for me to mention

Sandee's has been the only game in the area forever so it's awesome to have a way lower priced place like Greystone so close by me.
