Other than that the bed sagged a bit and more hooks would have been nice. The proximity to what Long Beach has to offer - including The Depot next door - is a huge plus. However the mattress I was supposed to sleep on was disgusting with unknown stains. Glad I brought an air bed because I would've rather slept on the floor than that mattress. I definitely miss the old managers that were there. I know I'm not the only one from our group that had the same experience. The ground were always actually very well kept, bathrooms/showers were always spotless, mattresses cleaned (perceptively), cabins were tidy etc. Hopefully they work through this and can improve from here. Being locals, we've heard many good things about the campground, but had never seen it for ourselves. We weren't certain that we would be able to just walk through and check it out, so we were a bit skeptical at first. That's until we met Beth, who was working in their onsite cafe/camp store. I have truly never felt more welcomed in my life! Before even entering the cafe, we felt like we were talking to someone who's a longtime friend. Not to mention, she made us the some of the best drinks we've ever had. I ordered an iced matcha latte, which was incredible. They use ceremonial matcha, it's the real deal! My coworker ordered an iced mocha, and said it was the best he's had in a long time, if not the best he's ever had. Beth was kind enough to tell us more about the property, the things they're known for and all the amenities you have access to when you book a stay. She welcomed us back whenever we would like, and told us we could hangout as long as we wanted. We decided to utilize their corn hole boards, as a huge fan of the game I was excited that they had this as an option. The game went on for a lot longer than we had anticipated, and it was quite warm outside. Beth brought us out ice waters, which was so sweet! We did some more exploring before heading out, and we were not disappointed. We checked out their sauna, which looked like it was straight out of a dream. Cold plunge, a beautiful sauna room (that I unfortunately did not get a photo of) and a huge hot tub. We didn't want to leave! Overall, this place is absolutely incredible. The main reason was for the Ofuro spa, which just looked absolutely stunning in photos. I booked my weekend stay very last minute so none of the cute wooden cabins were available, but plenty of field tent sites (which is the cheapest option, if you bring your own tent/gear). Check-in was easy and Jasmine was very kind and answered all my questions and helped me book my Ofuro Spa slots (they send you a link to make the reservations yourself but I didn't want to make an account). The buildings on the campfield are gorgeous. All made of wood and reflective of Japanese and nature aesthetic. The building with the restrooms and showers is perhaps the most beautiful bathroom building ever and it was always SO clean! The campstore is also beautiful with lots of windows to let the light in and sells everything snow peak, as well as provisions. The cafe part of the store sells beverages like coffee and tea, pastries, and also japanese hot dogs! The barista Beth was the loveliest person - she's local so she can tell you what things to check out in town! The terimayo hot dog was tasty! The campstore also has games and books! And outlets at the big table and also wifi! The Ofuro spa was definitely my favorite part - the architecture is stunning. There's a main pool that's like a hot tub, a cold plunge pool, and a sauna. There's also a fire pit and chairs off to the side too. There are cubbies for your stuff but no lockers. There are only four changing rooms with showers. Bring your own towel and bring slippers. Also recommend bringing your headlamp if you are going during the night time slot. The spa was really great and it was relaxing when barely anyone was there, which happened two of the times I went - which were the adult only times (first and last slots of the day). I went once I think around 5p which does allow children and they were treating it like a kiddie pool, splashing water around on the other guests, even though the parent told their kid to stop doing that. So best to go during the adult only times. Check out was easy! Forgot to mention that they have big wagon carts so you can transport your stuff to and from the car in the parking lot. I would love to come back one day and stay in the cabins!

The beaches are absolutely gorgeous, even when it rains, and the beach access path is clearly defined and manicured. Goat head weeds are prevalent in this area, but the staff here takes the time to keep several areas well-maintained, manicured and weed-free so your pups have a comfy place to walk and play. We highly recommend Pacific Holiday Resort to any travelers looking for a quiet, beautiful beach stay.

Annie is very nice and a great host while there. Beach walk isn't too long, hose off area back at camp entrance.

Beware unfair business dealings…read more We sent the following to the Long Beach Merchants Association and to the town mayor. Andersens RV Park and Cottages has a cancellation policy that is unfair and unreasonable. On May 31st, 2026, we reserved two sites for 3 nights costing a total of $739.12. The sites were reserved for August 21-24 2026. Due to unforeseen events we were forced to cancel the reservations on July 6, 2026. Since this was almost two months before our reservations we assumed that we would forfeit one night per site for the cancellation. However, buried in the cancellation policy is the statement that during the kit festival on August 16-23 up to 7 nights are Non-Refundable. Had we cancelled a week or so before the festival, the policy is understandable. But refusing a refund for cancelling almost two months ahead is ridiculous and unheard of. I am certain that those two sites will be sold to someone else. Buyer should Beware! We will be contacting the WA Attorney General and submitted a formal complaint.

We checked in and had to cough up a $50 cash deposit for a group site. It was in direct sun with no trees, which is deceptive on their campground map. It was full on sun, so we asked if a nearby shaded campsite was available during our stay before we set up camp. The older lady, who seemed somewhat mixed up, told me our group could use a nearby shaded site during the entirety of our stay. Another camper would arrive at the adjacent site on our last night, so "No problem," according to her. We could use the shady site; just expect a neighbor on our last night. We were fine with that and were grateful for the shade. Well that wasn't the case: While we were out of cell phone range for the day, she calls and says we must break camp immediately and move back to our sunny group site with no shade. We had to move 3 tents, kids, and lots of camping equipment quickly before the next customers arrived in the shady spot. The reason? The old lady mixed up the campsite numbers and didn't want to admit her mistake. She forgot that the shady site we were allowed to use was actually already booked. When I asked why we had to move suddenly, she said, "That's not what I told you!" which was a lie to make her look good in front of her crotchety husband. Then she said she was "doing us a kind favor "by offering a shaded site, and that we needed to go immediately to the group site, in the full sun. Her husband became angry at my question and yelled, "Then just get out now!!!" in a very mean way. I told them we'd kindly move back to the group site but I just wanted to know why things changed so suddenly. What a jerk the caretakers are! they both made us feel like crap for their own mistakes and mix-up. Facilities here are sub-par, lacking effort and craftsmanship. Everything's been built on the cheap: Showers only run for 5 min before you have to put 3 more quarters in. And no: you can't load it with 6 quarters for 10 min.; only 3 quarters go in at a time. You have to step out from the shower into the common area (naked) to put 3 more quarters in for your next 5 min. The shower changing area is too small , and there's a family campsite directly behind the bathrooms, so you can hear children playing while you're in there. Cheap faucets and fixtures. Probably a bad septic system too, because you have to hold down the flusher for quite a while. Toilets don't flush strongly and there are no locks on stall doors. The water source for tent campers is too far away and and there's a gross "sink" to do dishes in up near the bathrooms. We had a portable toilet near the group site, which was cleaner and more convenient than the actual bathrooms and sinks were. Overall, stay away from this place and these people who run it. There are better people to give your money to for some decent facilities. I'll never stay here again and hope to never see the caretakers again!

It was a cute cozy cabin with basic amenities…read more(coffee, utensils, towels, sheets, plenty of pillows, cable) it got a bit cramped at times with just three of us plus our stuff inside so I can't picture it with four ppl but I'm not complaining it kept us warm and cozy at night. The location is good, there's close beach access, and it's near all the hikes and sites you'd want to see in the area. The front staff was helpful and there are fire pits for rent if you like plus other things like games movies. There's a fun little playground and basket ball court with provided sand toys and balls etc. there's drinkable water stations but it tastes like hose water so we stuck to bottled when we could! The vibe of the campground is unfriendly due to the other patrons not the staff so don't expect any cumbaya singing by the shared camp fire on any night, let alone a friendly wave!
