If you are staying in the RV , it looked fine and easy access to the beach. However only amenity…read morewas a picnic table, no fire pits for any site. The cabin was bordering on awful. The cabins have no central heating, they are heated by the use of ;numerous) space heaters. When I arrived it was so cold I had to leave and come back after it was warmer. Since they knew I was coming, they should have turned on the (three) space heaters . The oil heaters take hours to heat up. The cords on the bedroom "fireplace" heaters became hot to the touch, like hot enough to burn you. So we had to watch them and unplug them at night and when we left the cabin. Also entry to caving was was totally dark, no porch light & to enter the cabin you somehow need to enter a code in the dark. Also it was pretty grimy, lots of cobwebs and dirt, especially in windowsills.

The new owners are great and are improving a lot of things that I understand the old owners left as issues. The manager is AWESOME and so helpful, I'm living by myself and have learned a lot from the manager and the people here. The park is clean, there is a laundry and bathroom/shower facility, as well as a soda machine. Close to town and the beach. I couldn't be happier with my choice of a place to stay. Also VERY dog friendly, which is a huge plus for me. I love dogs and my dog loves everybody here, and everyone is so nice to him.

You still need to bring quite a bit of things.. linens, toiletries, more items like coffee cups/ pods, we needed ziplocks bags, and we definitely brought our own wood. Cabin was clean, 3 issues were: left over socks in the bottom bunk, a few mold spots on the shower curtain, and our trash was not taken out prior to arrival. I was impressed by the size, and the grounds. There isn't a lot to do here compared to others properties but plenty of outdoor things to adventure. The beach is in walking distance and you're able to clam with proper permits. Lots of deer near by. Nearest store is in Raymond, about 20-25 min away. Long Beach is about 45 min away.
