Few potholes but you can drive right onto beach. Follow locals tracks, stay out of soft sand. Afternoons people were there by the hundreds on Friday/Saturday night hunting razor clams. No fenced dog park but lots of walking trails and areas for them. You must pay for WiFi, but it was very reasonable & very worth it. There is no cable which is fine if you get the WiFi. Tengo Internet is the company you will be using. We paid $7.95 for 4 devices for 3 days. If you want to stream (TV) you will be calling Tengo to give them your units "Mac" number. Then everything was great. All sites were grass, a few muddy but ours was great. Small gas station 4 miles away will provide you with many of you needs. 30 amps only, because this an older park. There is no tent camping due to restrooms closed. That said we were told no showers or rest rooms & yet the guy next to me said he gets the code because he is a return renter. The full time RVs are up front providing them the privacy they deserve. Dogs are required to be on leash or penned most people followed the rules. If you had a group coming here would be a great idea, just book a row of sites toward the back. There are some very nice cabins to rent, I assume they get the code to restrooms. We would stay here again

There appeared to be a large family gathering, and the group was extremely loud throughout the day. They parked wherever they wanted, including in other guests' parking spaces, and allowed their dogs to run freely. Trash was left scattered around their campsite, making the area look neglected. The campground is already very tightly packed, so this behavior affected everyone nearby. To make matters worse, there is a long-term resident who regularly yells profanity at his children, and management does nothing about it. Throughout our stay, management was nowhere to be found when these issues occurred. We paid for a relaxing vacation, but instead experienced noise, disorder, and a lack of enforcement of the campground's own rules. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and a waste of money.

You're close to the ocean, surrounded by trees, and there's this constant sense of spaciousness that lets your mind open up. It creates the perfect conditions for artists to think, feel, and make work. What makes Arts Week truly special, though, is the people. The group of artists is diverse, thoughtful, and deeply engaged. You're in conversation all day long, whether that's over shared meals, spontaneous collaborations, or late night talks that somehow become the most meaningful part of the experience. It's rare to find a space where people show up this open and this willing to connect. The programming strikes a great balance. There's structure when you want it, like readings, performances, and workshops, but also plenty of unstructured time to follow your own creative instincts. There's also a real sense of care built into the week. The staff and organizers are thoughtful and attentive, and you can feel that they want everyone there to succeed!

It literally smelled like a dump the minute we pulled in due to the massive dumpster they had in the center of the property (which was full, would've been smart to empty before a packed weekend); the overflow camping area is not maintained and looks like campers have lived there for many years - this is where we camped. Our site wasn't cleaned before we arrived so we picked up trash and dog sh*t before setting up. The "fire pits" are rusty old wheels chucked on the ground so don't expect to fit regular firewood in them. Bathrooms appeared clean at first glance but the curtain situation over toilets is gross, they're covered in brown and red stains (you can't wipe & sanitize fabric daily, so idk what they were thinking there- at least use a liner or something that can be cleaned!). The old KOA cabins are still on site but back right up to that dumpster so I wouldn't recommend the first 4-5 of those in the row. I'm giving 2 stars bc we could fit an RV, 2 trucks and a car hauler in one site, the gal in the office let us keep our vehicles there on checkout day so we could spend the day in seaside with one vehicle.
