Now, she has another set of keys so my sister April Hatcher came over to assist her in finding them. We head off to our store, but first, stop at Wawa for coffee and donuts. Once inside, we are approached by a frantic young mom who has also locked her keys, wallet, phone and 3month and 11 month old children in the car. It is swelteringly hot. The 3 month old is screaming and sweating, the 11 month old is sweating, but content with his tablet. We try to coerce the older child to try to unlock the doors. He says "nope". After a minute of coercing and threats, he attempts to release himself from the carseat, but cannot. Our ex neighbor Will and I try to coach the windows down, to no avail. We call 911 and rescue is dispatched. We want to break the windows but we were directed not to since rescue was on the way and the glass may harm the children (smh). 10 minutes or so has lapsed. I just happen to turn my head towards the street and see a tow truck. I frantically wave them down. Now, they could have easily continued, but they made a u turn and came back to see if we were in need. Once they arrived, I immediately told them that there was a 3 month old and 11 month old child in a locked unheated vehicle. @Anything Automotive & More sprung into action immediately and was able to quickly open the door with no damage to the vehicle. They refused payment and were off on their way before rescue was anywhere in sight. The children are fine. My mom also was able to get into her car. Shouts out to them.
