Out of comfort and proximity, Sandaya became a restaurant that my family, friends, and I frequented for some time. If you're looking for a quiet Yakiniku restaurant that serves really tasty meat cuts as well as some Japanese and Korean delights, head over to Sandaya. The ambiance is very casual yet intimate enough to go on a date (as long as you don't mind smelling like the grill after!) The Korean style Beef Tartar Steak is an interesting dish to try but make sure you go there to sample their juicy and tender meat cuts that are marinated in their special sauce. The Hanging Tender, Chuck Tender, Kobe Style Beef Ribs, and the Pork Belly Leek Rolls are excellent choices for meal lovers and omnivores alike. All portions are good for sharing or one hungry diner. They also have Premium Assorted Sets that help first timers experience their specialities. Make sure to pair your meats with the Sanchu vegetable wraps, some rice, side dishes like sprouts, kimchi, and maybe some pajeon. I also enjoy very much their miso soup which is one of the best I've tried in Manila. A cool place thats been around for a long time and still competitive compared to many other yakiniku style restaurants in the Metro. read more
