I ended up coming across this hotel just on it's own and the rate was much better than an so-called discount travel sites. It's a bit of an older building and you'll see more signs of age in common areas, but the rooms wouldn't have been renovated too long ago. They look nice, they're clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is pretty simple. It's more or less a continental breakfast but with 3 hot plate options in addition. For me it was: pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausages. Nothing special but did the job. The pool was amazing. I'm almost tempted to give a 5 star review because of it. Very large for a hotel - especially for one this size. Perhaps not the most ideal for people who can't swim or watching children who can't, as the shallow end is relatively small. However, a bonus for those who do like to swim since more than half of it is deep. And the deepest point is 9ft which is almost unheard of for most hotels. They say no diving perhaps out of CYA, but obviously you can given that it's even deeper than many public pools. It was too bad the hot tub was down, but the main pool being so good that I wouldn't hold that against them. I had a nice swim and my kids absolutely loved it and had lots of room to swim around. This hotel is one of those clean, budget hotels like Hampton Inn, Courtyard etc. The hotel itself is 4 floors, clean and provides great service. However, the gym is quite small (4 cardio machines) and it is just a continental breakfast and the dinner options are basically frozen/instant food, however there is plenty of fast food options and bars in the surrounding area. Verdict: If you're midway between Ottawa and Montreal, it's a decent place to stay for one night.

I've…read morealso been to a wedding more recently that was DJed by First Choice Entertainment, although it was someone other than Greg (and I don't remember his name, sorry), but he was also good. When I told this other DJ that Greg DJed our wedding and "look we're still together!", he took out his phone and snapped a picture of us and said he'd show Greg, which I thought was really cute. So Greg is an RCMP Officer who happens to also own a DJing business (!) He's very personable and nice. My husband and I have an eclectic taste in music and we had some quirky songs we wanted him to play, and he actually found the songs and played them for us. He also snapped some pictures during the wedding and printed them out on his little portable printer so we could have some real photos right away and we were also able to give some out to guests. His prices were also really reasonable. Overall, we had a great experience with First Choice Entertainment. I definitely recommend First Choice Entertainment for DJing Services.
