Specialties
Boat tours out of Naples to Keewaydin Island, Port Royal and Naples Bay. Shelling and beachcombing on Keewaydin, dolphin and wildlife watching, sunset cruises, and private charters on our luxury pontoons.
Our tiki boat carries up to 26 guests with an onboard restroom, which makes it the one to book for bachelorette parties, birthdays and group celebrations.
Our crew are working naturalists, several with Florida Master Naturalist certification, so the shells you find get identified properly and the wildlife gets explained. Over 1,500 reviews at 4.9 stars across Google and Tripadvisor.
History
Established in 1988.
Sand Dollar Shelling and Boat Tours has run shelling and wildlife trips in Southwest Florida for more than 30 years. Captain Evan Kuperman and his wife Anat took over in 2022 and now run nine vessels from three marinas.
Our Naples boats depart from Naples Bay Resort and run out to Keewaydin Island, a barrier island reachable only by boat, and along Port Royal. Guests find lightning whelks, horse conchs, tulips, alphabet cones and sand dollars, and dolphins are regular company on the way out.
The Naples fleet is built for comfort: luxury pontoons and a 26-passenger tiki boat with an onboard restroom.
Meet the Business Owner: Evan K.
Captain Evan Kuperman is a USCG-licensed captain and holds all three modules of the Florida Master Naturalist Program. He and his wife Anat took over the business in 2022 and run it as a family operation with a crew of licensed captains and working naturalists. Evan is on the water most days, usually with a shell in his hand explaining what it is.
