Great tour! Captain Dwayne, a retired commercial fisherman gave a fun 55 minute tour. We saw many alligators, small and vey large, a python nest with hatched eggs, and many very large birds- herons and spoonbill. Enjoyable ride through the Florida Everglades. After the tour we held a baby alligator.

I will start off by saying that one of our party wanted an authentic experience. So I found this place because of their online ad. The prices were very fair to say the least compared to all the others. With the covid we did book a private boat just in case. Captain Duwayne was very knowledgeable and how he found his way through those mangrove trees was awesome. He expertly guided the air boat seamlessly, not once hitting any tree or branch. So if you are looking for a local airboat tour I do recommend this place. And if you opt for a private tour I recommend that as well, you only need a party of 4 minimum.

I got to wrestle an alligator!

This experience was so much fun and exceeded our expectations. We we running late for our reservation and were moved to the next time slot 15 minutes later, no problems. Captain Brad was awesome, super knowledgeable, and friendly. Nice little gift store with fun souvenirs. We will definitely do this again.

We had a great time. Our captain was friendly and very knowledgeable, and we even saw a gator in the wild. It was a fun ride through the swamp and we saw a lot of wildlife and both mangrove and grassy swamps. At the end we even got to hold a small alligator. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff. Airboat tour was fun and scenic! Enjoyed by adults and my 5, 12, 17 year old grandsons. Friendly captain, knowledgeable with interesting stories of alligators, & birds we saw throughout trip and what is being done with pythons. Got to hold a baby alligator too.

This place is AWESOME! Captain Liz gave a phenomenal tour with a lot of information about alligators, mangroves, wildlife, history of the area, and more! There were a ton of birds and fish, Capt. Liz even stopped to point out an Eagle. We got to hold a baby Alligator afterward, that will go to a sanctuary when it gets older. The kiddos also had a blast and enjoyed the information and history too! They liked when the airboat went fast and took corners to make a splash. (We all did!) (We did not get wet, the water was low, but we were all prepared.) Thank you Capt. Liz!!! We will be back when we visit next time!

Called the morning of our trip, lady who answered was super friendly and was able to get us a spot: We showed up early and they offered the boat that was leaving earlier. During the trip we were able to see 3 gators which was pretty cool. Our captain was Duwayne and he was great, took a few minutes to stop and explain different aspects of the trip.

Great price for the experience that was provided. The wildlife (especially the gators) combined with whipping around the Everglades was a perfect combination. Captain Brad was very knowledgeable as well.

This was a fun outing. The person on the phone gave us some great information about these Airboat rides/ tours. She was spot-on about everything. While our time is limited in Florida, this one hour Airboat ride was perfect. The staff was so friendly, and our Airboat Captain, Captain Louie, was loaded with information, facts, and trivia, about the Everglades, alligators, flora, and fauna. . Overall, this was so much fun. 5-Stars.

We had a very nice time here! There was 7 of us on the boat and Captain Ron was great! He answered all our questions and we went all over. We saw 1 alligator female. June and July is their nesting time so they don't really come out. The best time to go is early in the AM we asked. We also got to hold a baby alligator at the end which was cool! We enjoyed this also and would recommend! The cost was $40 but there is a $3.00 off coupon on their website. Also call before just to make sure because we did and their credit card machine was down so we all made sure to bring cash.

What an awesome experience!! Our captain Hunter was so knowledgeable. We saw so many gators. And at the end, we were all able to hold a baby gator. It was a lot of fun!! Captain Mitch's comes highly recommend!!

I have always wanted to do an airboat ride and finally got around to doing it here. This company is…read morelocated in the small town of Everglades City and is appropriately named and easy to find. I did not make a reservation for my late January ride and was able to get on a boat only having to wait about 40 minutes for a seat. The lady behind the ticket counter was very friendly and accommodating. I could tell that this is a family owned business. Finally Captain Matt arrived back at the dock dropping off his passengers to pick up a new group counting 5 including me. Their boats are not large and can only take 6 passengers at a time. That's good because the smaller boats are faster and more maneuverable. The tour lasted 50 minutes and was a lot of fun. Every passenger wears electronic ear muffs that allow communication between the passengers and captain so that he can narrate certain parts of the tour. The ear muffs are also necessary because the airboat engine is loud. The engine decibel level along with the other airboats operating in the area doing the same thing means that you really don't see much wildlife. Maybe a few birds but good luck on seeing an alligator or big fish as the noise scares them away. Matt told us that the day before he saw a dolphin.... However the fun is the speed and turns the boat makes. At times we were going 35-40 mph going down the narrow water streets with vegetation on both sides and then doing turns in the open water areas. This tour was fun and well worth the $52 adult cost. They operate a few boats at the same time. I recommend this company and ask for Matt. I would go it again!

Got a lot of running around in and saw many alligators and birds and it was quite awesome. Totally a great set up. The extra animal/zoo is pretty cool as well. The swamp buggy may be a skip for some. Full review: This place was recommended by a friend from Everglades City. We bought the extended combo: 50min airboat, 30mim swamp buggy, gator show, hold a baby gator, and zoo. All of these things are in the same place / embark from roughly same place, so you basically just decide which items you want in your package. It seemed like you don't have to do them in any particular order, except for maybe starting with the airboat at the time on your ticket. Note that the time of year will influence what you see. We went in January when water is low in that area, so we didn't see as many gators as you'd see other times when it's rainy - but neither were we eaten by mosquitos nor drenched in sweat. Airboat - loved gliding through the shallow water and witnessing beautiful birds, such as kingfishers, herons, and egrets. We only saw one gator out on the airboat, although we saw many more in the canal by the road when we went on the swamp buggy. Of course, they also have plenty of gators in the zoo / animal sanctuary onsite. I'm glad we booked the extended 50 minute version. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared great info ecology of mangroves and local wildlife. Swamp buggy - may not enthrall those who aren't huge nature enthusiasts, as it's a very short ride through mixed cypress forest, where you may see only pretty minimal wildlife. I enjoyed it since I'm really interested in ecology, although I think the two kids I went with (ages 9 and 11) were a little bored. There is some history about native people and earlier settlers on the land thats interesting. Overall I think it was only ~20 minutes instead of 30 to do the ride, so it felt pretty light. Animal sanctuary/zoo - this only takes a few minutes to walk around and offers a handful of different species in addition to gators. We were a little sad to see the tigers in what seemed like a small enclosure. Gator show -short, (20min) well-timed, and well-executed. A highlight. The host comes out and interacts with everyone to welcome you and tell some alligator facts, weaving in jokes and local history as a member of the Seminole tribe. He is a great personality and I honestly could've watched an hour-long show by this guy. Then he does some tricks that I won't describe to avoid taking away any fun surprise - suffice to say I'm impressed he still has ten fingers. Hold a baby gator - we enjoyed this. Everyone lines up after the show and depending on your age you can either hold the gator or have your parents help you hold it while someone takes a picture.
