Island vibes
Roy B.

We had a very nice lunch in between visits to the beach and had excellent service as well. There are so many good choices on the menu for seafood lovers and also some things to keep the kiddos happy as well. If you're a fan a ceviche, the plate will not let you down and you'll be looking for more of the flatbread that gets served with it. Lobster wraps were good but not the star of our meal. Certainly fresh and fresh tasting they might even be enough for a light-eaters meal. Tuna poke was on the spicy side but not overly so. Haley, who was our server, was very friendly and attentive. Always with a smile on her face and responsive to any request, she had our whole meal dialed in and relaxed. If you've just come in from the beach or wearing your relaxed linens, you will feel very relaxed here as the casual atmosphere will force you to u wind and get into island-time. The soft sandstone colors and the soft and comfortable couches will help you relax.

Sliders and carne pizza

We had the best lunch experience here. The sliders were amazing and our carne pizza was awesome also. Drinks were good. Vibe was amazing such a relaxing lunch. Service was amazing we had Shay-Lin and she was soo friendly and fun and super attentive to us. 10/10 experience.

We seated right next to the ocean and enjoyed a beautiful view while we were eating this evening. Our servers name was Adan and he did an absolutely amazing job. The entire facility is very romantic and definitely a place to go for a special occasion or even just to have a very nice meal. We both decided to start our meal tonight with salads and bread. Adan highly recommended the red & golden beet escabeche and I am very glad that I took his recommendation. It was the absolute perfect balance of the tartness of the whipped brie cheese, sweetness of the beets, and brought together with spring greens and pickled ginger. AMAZING flavor. For our main courses, I ordered the Caribbean lobster because they told me it was still alive in the ocean a couple hours before we sat down to eat and my wife ordered the filet. Both meals were exquisite. Her filet was cooked to perfection and the lobster was not overcooked. We finished the meal with French pressed coffee, flourless, chocolate, torte, and a trio of sorbet that is made in house. We had a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this restaurant if you decide to come to St. Thomas. This is one you should move to the top of your list.

She made us feel like we had been invited to a friend's home for dinner. The drinks were made perfectly and were definitely generous pours! Our waitress was wonderful-unfortunately, I forgot her name because I'm old but from what I could hear around me, all of the staff were friendly, attentive, and really helpful when it came to making dinner choices. My husband had the curry coconut lobster, which was cooked to perfection and was a great portion size. I had the Caribbean shrimp penne, and it was outstanding! I only wish we had saved room for dessert. To top off an already great experience, they even offered to call us a cab since the restaurant isn't located on a main road.Mim's is an absolute must-stop when visiting the USVI. Great food, great drinks, and genuinely warm hospitality. One of our favorite dinners on the island!

This could be a good romantic dinner or good for a group. It has the ability to meet all your vacation needs and good food! For the people siting issues with the service, this place is on island time. It's not a bad thing but just don't try to be in a rush. You are taken care of it just may take a little longer than you would have thought. Everyone says get the curry lobster. Let me be the next to say...get the curry lobster! I don't love curry at all, but get the curry lobster! It's such a good balance of sweet coconut with a cream sauce that just works so well with the explosion of flavors going on. The whole mixture is stuffed back in the lobster shell for an awesome presentation. Overall, take the taxi ride to enjoy this local fare, you definitely won't be disappointed!

The service was fast and they come out with the pizza quick. Didn't have to wait long. The pizza was nice and crispy, i really really liked the sauce. It tasted freshly made. The Tuna Ceviche ($24) was fresh and bright with citrus flavors. The Tuna Poke ($28) was beautifully presented and flavorful. Both were light but satisfying appetizers. For the main course we ordered the Paella ($42). The dish came loaded with mussels and shrimp and chicken and rice. It had a nice balance of flavors. To drink, I had the Golden Hour cocktail ($16), which was light and refreshing as well. Service was smooth and attentive throughout the evening. One thing to note is that a 20% gratuity is automatically added. Overall, the food was fresh, the presentation was beautiful, and the ambiance made the experience even better. If you're looking for a nice dinner spot in St. Thomas with beautiful views this is definitely worth checking out.

I love when I get excited to write a review for a new restaurant I tried on vacation. This trip…read moretook me to St. Thomas, and being an island community, it also meant seafood, which I love and is hard to come by in Phoenix, AZ. The Fish Market sits on the beach at the bottom of the Elysian Hotel. While you can walk there, it's a long, winding road through the hotel grounds. While I want to say we were met with a warm island welcome, instead, we were met by a grouchy young lady who seemed less than happy to be working or enjoying her day. On a positive note, our waitress, Kieke, was delightful and sweet and a complete opposite from the hostess. As for the food, let me be honest when I say it was one of the top two seafood meals I've had in my life. I got the crab-stuffed grouper with broccolini and couscous. It was cooked perfectly and had a sauce that was delicious! At the end of the day, this was a great experience, and if you can get down to the restaurant (which is a hike), you will absolutely enjoy the meal and ask for Kieke and ignore the rude hostess.

Both were really good; the nachos were super fresh and flavorful with a nice mix of textures, and the scramble was light but still filling with plenty of veggies. Definitely felt like a good, balanced brunch option. The service was great, friendly, attentive, and everything came out at a good pace. The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the Bloody Mary. It had a pretty strong horseradish kick, which just isn't my thing, but if you like that extra spice you'd probably enjoy it. Overall, great food, beautiful setting, and a solid brunch spot. I'd absolutely come back (and probably stick to mimosas next time!).
