They should have been prepared. So when the guy left to get the correct tools he apologized and said I don't have to pay for the time he took. He came back after about 40 minutes, still couldn't fix it so I had him make a quick, but temporary fix. Total time he was at my house was less than an hour. The owner made the staff tell me I owed him for two hours. I scoffed at the notion. The staff was obviously embarrassed. Shame on the owner for putting his staff in such a situation. The final result was a threatening text from the owner, "We will be sending your remainder balance to your home address. You have 10 business days to pay the remaining balance otherwise it's 10% interest per week up to 30 days. After the 30 days it will be sent to collections if that is not paid, a lien be placed on your property. If you'd like to call to discuss this, I'd be happy to come to an agreeable balance. They treated my house with so much respect. Put big moving blanket on the floor before bringing in their machine and starting the work, and put down pads to protect my cabinet from getting water or damage. And even when opening the cabinet door he did it carefully to not bang or scratch it against the other cabinets. The care and consideration they put into my home was noticed and very appreciated!! We had a blockage in the pipes down stream from kitchen. They were able to help clear it and get the job done very quickly. They were sure to do several tests and make sure I was satisfied with the job. Plumbing can be expensive but I was happy their service wasn't outrageous.
