He seemed to really care about the work and his customers. Fast-forward to install - everything stellar. He and his daughter fixed all the weird things about the old install, and did it on time and with great manners. I have written a review about Clovis Plumbing Service before but I feel that I need to share again what a great business they are. Tod and his daughter are a fantastic team. I enjoy doing business with them because they are professional, fair, caring and friendly. We had new granite installed and Tod gave us some great advice along the way. Once the granite was installed Clovis Plumbing had to re-do our plumbing for our new sink and installed the faucet and garbage disposal. we needed the cartridge behind the handle in the shower replaced. I called Lee's plumbing first, because Lee's had a $49. service charge which is about the lowest. They wanted $609, YES $609 just to change the cartridge. OUTREAGOUS!! I called Clovis plumbing, they were out the next day and did it, labor and parts included for 1/3 of Lee's wanted. The 2 people that came were very friendly, polite, clean and kept us informed all along the way. If I ever need any plumbing work in the future I will call Clovis Plumbing. read more

Tod is as good as it gets. He's friendly, efficient, respectful and a great guy. His prices are fair but I've learned the hard way in plumbing that you don't want the cheapest guy, you want the best and that's worth paying for. Tod quite simply does awesome work. Plus he's available, appraochable, comes out for emergencies or weekends, and is happy to help and share his vast experience to help out his clients over the phone. I purchased a new house in Clovis last year and Tod has come out to fix toilets, plumbing, and water heater leaks. Highly recommended. We were in a bad spot. The water heater had unceremoniously stopped working on a long weekend, and with two kids at home, going without hot water was not a luxury we could afford. We called Tod, and he responded right away. He worked with us to find a solution that worked (again, on a long holiday weekend) and was there the next morning to do the install for us. Our job wasn't as simple as swapping out the water heater either, as we found there had been a considerable amount of mold growth. Tod took care of it, demolished everything he could safely, then got to work installing our new tankless heater. Because we were going from a tank to tankless system, multiple lines needed to be moved, and with the wall still open in places to contain the mold growth, most would have simply fixed up a temporary solution. Tod found a way to get us permanently hooked up and still allow for drywall to be replaced after the mold was taken care of without disturbing our hot water. Tod was AWESOME!! I've used his incredible services twice. In February I called him because something was leaking in my kitchen. He came out the very next day, examined the sink area, and broke down the issue very clearly to me. He gave me extremely fair and up front costs and expectations and called 2 other contractors out to solve the issue. (One to snake the line and another for drywall). Then, we recently used his service once again because our sink was leaking. My father tried to fix it (bless his heart, it didn't work out so well), but I called Tod, and he was out the very next morning again!! He replaced the sink, fixed the leak, AND fixed the new leak coming from the garbage disposal. He has been consistently efficient, nice and fast! I had Tod come out on 5/29/18 to do some work that the lazy bums at Home Depot refused to do when they came out on May 19th to install my dishwasher. Tod was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of his profession and explained everything in full detail. He installed a garbage disposal, a kitchen faucet and a bathroom faucet for me and at very reasonable prices compared to Home Depot. Tod even made two trips to Home Depot for me for parts we needed and then proceeded to order the necessary parts for my dishwasher to be installed on Friday, something the guys at Home Depot, where I purchased the product refused to even life a finger on. This is one of the best men I've had the honor of meeting and very much appreciate all of his help in this situation that has caused me many sleepless nights. We recently purchased a home in Fresno and wanted to update two of the water heaters. Todd showed up on time on 4/19 and Quoted for 1 thankless and one regular water heater. As of 5/4/18 I still don't have the agreement on my hand and here are few items that have gone wrong: 1- Right before scheduling the service on 5/4/18 I was informed that price of tankless has gone up since a bigger unit should be used. When the property is already looked at in person Such increases are weird. Just to put in perspective, we have purchased a very large home contractor increasing the price after they looked at the place and quoted and right before they start. It is just not a comfortable feeling to wonder if you have a bigger home means you should be charged more since you potentially have more money! 2- After these many days and couple weeks before the party we are preparing for He just informed me we are not the owners of the place!!! This property is recently purchased and I have no clue what not up to date website is used for such determination (copy of grand deed was texted to him) and why we need to wait almost a month to hash this out!! while I could just hire someone else right from the get go and wasted all this time!
