Tod from Clovis Plumbing Services did a great job on installing a completely new hot water system…read morewhich was complicated by the fact that it was connected to our solar hot water system. He was very responsive to our phone calls , gave us a very fair price and explained everything that he had done. I had several plumbing contractors come out to look at it, however, they felt it was beyond their skill set. When I contacted Todd Dale, he came out with his daughter, Christian, who is also a plumber. They took on the project without any hesitation and did an excellent job at a very fair price. I needed my old 50 gallon propane water heater replaced recently. I didn't bother to waste time getting other bids. I knew that Clovis Plumbing Services would do a great job, and they did. It passed inspection from Fresno County on the first try. Lots and lots of nice hot water now. This is the only plumbing contractor I trust.

Total ripoff. The staff that came out was honest and friendly, but didn't bring the correct tools…read morethat was needed. Before they came out I explained the situation and even sent pictures. They should have been prepared. So when the guy left to get the correct tools he apologized and said I don't have to pay for the time he took. He came back after about 40 minutes, still couldn't fix it so I had him make a quick, but temporary fix. Total time he was at my house was less than an hour. The owner made the staff tell me I owed him for two hours. I scoffed at the notion. The staff was obviously embarrassed. Shame on the owner for putting his staff in such a situation. The final result was a threatening text from the owner, "We will be sending your remainder balance to your home address. You have 10 business days to pay the remaining balance otherwise it's 10% interest per week up to 30 days. After the 30 days it will be sent to collections if that is not paid, a lien be placed on your property. If you'd like to call to discuss this, I'd be happy to come to an agreeable balance. Have a great day." See you in court, I guess....

I don't know about the master part though. He was a bit misleading on a water heater indicating that it was from Amazon and it used for bars/restaurants to heat up basically drinks - he specifically said that it is not meant for a 2000 sqft home. He suggested to go with a $5000-15,000 water heater and wanted to upsell his services. Personally, that just does not jive with me. He then proceeded to tell me that he is not quite sure how to run the current water heater I had, so I am not sure if it was incompetence or disingenuousness, but my gut says the latter. If you need a job done, he will absolutely be there, but he might try to swindle you into something you don't need so proceed with caution.
