I sent out a quote request through Yelp to three businesses for a water heater flushing. One business replied with, "Call us at..." Not very helpful. If I wanted to call someone, I would've just called. A second one started blowing up my inbox with all kinds of offers that had nothing to do with my request. Clark replied with a request for further information and then a quote. The technician came out later the same day, did the job, and did it for the quoted price. Thank you. read more

Our water heater died on us Christmas morning and flooded the garage and entryway. Bryan offered to come out the same day to do the work at no extra charge but we didn't want to disrupt his holiday. We had him come out the next morning and he was able to get our water heater replaced without any problems. Amazing customer service and lower cost than the other quotes we received. We highly recommend Clark Family Water Heaters. UPDATE: Bryan had to come out again because there was a problem with the gas line. He was out within two hours from the time we called and he only charged us for parts, no extra charge for labor or his time to fix the gas line issue. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! read more

My pilot went out on a Friday morning and called several places that couldn't come out until the middle of the next week. I can turn a wrench and swing a hammer. But there are 2 things that I would rather not mess with, gas and electricity, because they can kill me. So when my pilot light went out on my fairly new water heater, it was with some trepidation that I attempted to restart it. I'm not familiar with the new self igniting types, so I took to YouTube. It seems everyone owns the same Honeywell valve control, except me. And the one guy who did have mine, was an electrician who, for obvious liability reasons, didn't show you how to ignite it. So I turn things over to the wife to find a pro. She puts in 4 request through Yelp, and Bryan(Brian?) was the first to call next day. I told him the problem, that it was a sensor issue(based on my YouTube research). But he initially dismissed my diagnosis, and suggested the valve would need to be replaced. He wanted to know if it was still under warranty, but since I've only owned the damn thing less than 48 hours, I had no idea. So he asks for some serial numbers, and does what I should have done. Called Rheem. He calls back, (twice, because I gave him the serial of the valve, not the water heater), and says he didn't realize mine had an FV sensor that over time will lock you out, but can be reset. He suggested a call to Rheem if I wasn't sure how to do it. To cut a long story short, Brian(Bryan?) helped me out and didn't even get paid for it. All over the phone. Guess who I will call the next time I can't do it myself? Imabigdeal@yelp.com read more

This guy wanted to sell me a new water heater without even checking out the problem I was having with the one I have. Nope.

We had our 20+ year old water heater replaced today by Bryan. I contacted over a dozen plumbers for quotes and received a very fair quote right here on yelp from Clark Family Water Heaters. I called Bryan this morning to let him know that we were going to replace the water heater with him and he was here this afternoon with a brand new one. He replaced the water heater and all the accompanying accessories (hoses, hose insulation, earthquake straps, valves, etc.) He stuck to the quote he gave us here through yelp messaging and didn't tack on any hidden fees like many plumbers at the end. Overalls very happy with our experience, and strongly recommend. Bryan was extremely friendly, personable and especially very helpful to my 87 year old grandmother who he explained the whole installation to, and took great care of her and her house. read more

We contacted Clark Family Water Heaters on a Friday evening when we got back in town finding that our 30 plus year old water heater had finally given up and needed to be replaced. After reaching out to several other local plumbers, we decided to go with Clark because of their reasonable pricing and very responsive communications. They were able to give us an immediate estimate for the replacement over the Yelp app. Other vendors required an on site estimate and some even could not come out until 4 to 6 days later. Communication remained consistent and they arrived on time as promised on the day of the service. The only thing that we would suggest is to have perhaps a slightly more warm and friendly demeanor, however the service was still prompt and responsive and he was able to show us how to adjust the water heater before . I love supporting small businesses. He gave us a competitive quote, did what he said he would do for the price quote then took care of the job. We now have a super nice water heater. By the way, he didnt try to upsell us but did kindly offer a different heater that I liked better than the Lowes crud that we originally had decided upon. Would highly recommend. read more

So, I have a go to plumber but he had jobs lined up and wasn't able to immediately help me out with replacing my water heater. I checked around and then used yelp to get estimates and someone who could get the job done quick. After some research, I went with Clark Family Water Heaters. The price was very reasonable and the serviceman said he could be out same day. I am very grateful that I chose Clark. The new water heater works great and the cost was within my budget. Bryan helped my husband with a code for our water over the phone. He had nothing to gain from helping us out. Bryan was amazing, I called him for an estimate and came over to our house in an hour. Gave us a really fair price and did an amazing job.

My parent's needed their 20 year old water heater replaced and was referred to Clark Family Water Heaters from a friend. Their friend mentioned that Bryan not only specializes in water heaters, but has very reasonable prices and has a good, easy going personality. That's all my dad needed to hear, as he's not really fond of having to have service people come to their house. Jim was right, my father was very happy with Bryan! The price of the installation was very reasonable and he was able to accommodate coming to do the job on a Saturday. Would recommend to anyone looking for their water heater to be replaced or repaired! read more

Our family has been living in our first ever home for two years now , and our water heater finally decided to start leaking . We couldn't figure out what was causing it and decided to give this company a call . Bryan was quick to answer his phone , and showed up to our home within 30 minutes of our distress call . After taking a quick look at our water heater , he was able to diagnose we needed a complete replacement . We weren't ready for the expenses to come , but he was able to work with our budget , and figure something out . We didn't get the job done right away , but called him unexpectedly a few days later , and again , he was quick to answer his phone , and was out and ready at our home within 30 minutes . The weather wasn't very favorable , but he was able to get the job done within a little under a couple of hours , and if course honored the price he originally quoted us at . We are very pleased with his work ! Definitely recommend giving him a call if you want great quality work at an affordable cost . read more

Just tried calling the number listed and the guy did not know what I was talking about with regards to water heater repair.

My mom's water heater was on its last leg and leaking. I decided to get it replaced for her. A few other companies were charging outrageous prices and since I prefer to support small businesses anyway, I decided to contact Clark Family Water Heaters. I'm so glad I did! I got lucky that I called on a Saturday and Bryan was available on Monday and was very reasonable on price. He installed a new water heater and even helped me with a small wall repair in the process. He was very professional and did a wonderful job at a great price. read more

Woke up to warm, not hot, water. The pilot light wouldn't stay on for whatever reason. I called Clark Family Water Heaters and spoke to Bryan. He arrived 40 minutes later and gave me an estimate for repair. I asked about replacement and he quoted me for a new unit that he brought with him. I decided to go with replacement due to the age of the unit but Bryan never tried to steer me in any direction. I asked about options and he provided them and at what cost then I made the decision. I appreciated this and couldn't be more pleased about an unfortunate situation. He was prompt, friendly and the job was done very professionally. I would recommend this business to anyone in need of this type of service. Supporting a local small business was a bonus for me as well. read more

I called Bryan because he was referred by a friend. He is out of my area, but got lucky because he had business in town and was free to take care of my old, leaky problem. Awesome job and he was several hundred dollars less than some other places I called. Very professional, and does quality work. read more

We chose Clark because we weren't sure if we needed a new water heater or simply a repair. There were a couple of things wrong with our hot water - a leak and occasionally no hot water pressure. We wanted someone with experience who could explain and recommend the best solution. Bryan was able to come within an hour and was on time. He helped us understand the the issues and our options. The old heater was 20+ years old and we decided to replace it. Bryan removed the old on and installed the new one. The new heaters is working great (was only installed yesterday), so we can't comment on long-term performance yet. However, we can comment on Bryan's work and would recommend him and Clark Family Water Heaters to everyone. He did a great job. read more
