I purchased a twice-a-year HVAC check-up service agreement, and it has been well worth the money. Last spring, Balance Comfort sent out an outstanding female technician (apologies, I don't remember her name), and today, Cristian came to inspect my heater. Both were young, highly knowledgeable, and thorough in their work. They each spent about an hour ensuring my system was running smoothly. I joined the Balanced Comfort Club expecting honest assessments, preventive maintenance, and professional recommendations, not repeated proposals for costly replacements. The conflicting findings from an independent HVAC contractor have raised serious questions for me about the accuracy of Balanced Comfort's recommendations and the company's business practices. I am concerned that senior citizens may be especially vulnerable to unnecessary upselling when they rely on technicians for expert advice about their home's safety. After four unsuccessful attempts to have my concerns addressed, I have lost confidence in this company's integrity and commitment to its customers.

I am very impressed with this company. Travis Goode answered the phone on the first call, he and…read morehis crew were very busy with existing work. However, he took the time to listen to the problem (Leaking main). He added me to his schedule very quickly. He knew that I was very stressed out and worried about the situation. His crew came out and took care of everything. The service was professional, friendly, and affordable. The difference between Goode Plumbing and others that I called.... The others would not give me even a vague ballpark figure of how much it would cost or how quickly they can fix it without coming to my house. Goode Plumbing took the time to let me explain everything, I send a couple pictures, they provided me with a ball park idea of cost. I understood that it could change once his crew arrived due to my explanation and other things that may change the estimate. They fixed it and stayed at the quote. There was a little misunderstanding, but they were willing to take care of it, however I was able to take care of it on my own. I do not feel as intimidated by my plumbing as I did before this incident. They took the time to explain so many things to me.

They were good at communication, getting work done in a timely manner, giving a fair price and being so friendly. Most recently, we called Goode Plumbing when our filtration system needed some maintenance and to have some plumbing work in the kitchen. Carter and Scott did a fantastic job. They were right on time, professional, really great at explaining what they were doing (even providing information on a plumbing need we have in the future) and super friendly. They left everything clean, wrote up a very descriptive summary and everything was repaired or replaced as planned. I hope to see these two when we do our next plumbing project.

Everywhere else was booked 2 weeks-couple months out due to Covid. They were also the one that would be able to service the same day of the testing if it didn't pass. Other places told me I would have to schedule two appointments, one for testing one for service if needed. I also left many messages for other companies. Only a couple of them called me back. This place answered my phone call right away, twice. Their price was comparable to every company I called. It was $100. They didn't pressure me in placing my card on file before the appointment. They gave us a 4 hour window between 8am-12pm. The day of the appointment, a man called me to tell me he was on his way. About 15 minutes later he said he was at my location, but I didn't see anyone out front. He was at the wrong place! The operator put in the wrong address. It was completely off. The man apologized and it took him about 20 minutes to drive across town to meet me. Glad I wasn't in a rush to go anywhere. The testing took only a few minutes and he was out of there. I was so glad I was able to reach this company.
