With that said, the way the clinic schedules appointments is very frustrating and honestly inconsiderate. Most of the patients here are older and have health issues, yet they're being left to wait for hours in a crowded waiting room. For example, we had a 2:00 PM appointment, but patients with 9:00 AM appointments were still waiting to be seen. We were told that five people are scheduled every 15 minutes, which adds up to way too many patients a day. It's not fair or respectful to make sick, elderly people wait like that. On top of that, the front desk staff can be rude and unhelpful when asked for information. It feels very disorganized. We trust Dr. Rangel, but the clinic really needs to improve the way it handles scheduling and treat patients with more care and respect. and one last comment we come to the appt to get the lab work explain and only once has it been by his doctor, Dr. Rangel. All other times has been by other colleagues that work with him. And this is not advised until they send you to the second little room to wait. Just keep that in mind. You're waiting all this time and do not even get seen by the same doctor.

NOT a serious condition. Imagine this: You have had diarrhea for the past 4 and a half days. You develop a high fever the fourth day, you noticed you've lost a lot of weight, you begin to get scared and think to yourself, "no more putting this off, time to find out what's going on!" You arrive at the doctor, mind you, barely able to keep your balance. Pale faced, dark circles around your eyes. Blistering lips from the severe dehydration. You are so sick you don't even know what day of the week it is... The nurse calls you up, takes your pulse, it's kind of low. Weighs you. She notes, "wow, you've lost 8lbs". You excuse yourself in a panic, amidst your evaluation and throw up some weird green stuff that the nurse can't even identify. Seeing the severity of the situation, the doctor decides to see you right away. A wave a happiness overcomes you seeing that health is again in your very near future. Oh, but you are wrong, dead wrong. He rubs your belly, and says, "oh yes , that rumbling is a clear indication of food poisoning. Jello and a bath. If you still feel bad in 3 days come back and I'll give you something." WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?! I had been puking my life out for the past 4 days. I lost 8lbs. And he expected 3 more days of that! That would be SEVEN DAYS OF BEING SICK! Good lord, what a waste of my time and money. I jumped to the doctor across the street which swiftly prescribed an antibiotic and I kid you not I felt better within the hour. The doctor is useless. If you care for your life avoid him!

I have seen several other doctors and Dr. Teng was the only doctor to actually prescribe medicine for the condition and help me toward a resolution. Doctor Teng is knowledgeable and actually conversed with me as to his thoughts unlike other doctors who just listened and offered no help. His practice is considerate and accepts patients without insurance. They saw me immediately whereas other offices had waiting times of up to several weeks, if they were accepting new patients at all. Thumbs up for his receptionist. She forwarded my medical info after just one request. At a later time, they were contacted by someone requesting my medical history whom I had not authorize. She reached out to me concerning this and did not send them my file. Awesome!
