I didn't end up going with this company but want to review because of the serviceni did receive. I asked for a quote and they got me scheduled quickly. The guy who came out was amazing. He was personable, intelligent, and easy to chat with. He educated me on both RO system and water softener. Seriously, if you're reading this owner..that guy is great. It sounded like they have an amazing warranty, great product and great service to where when they hear of the Johnson Ranch water changing hardness or wells, they will actually come out to you and set your machine to match it. After having a primitive water softener in my house for 14 years and not feeling/seeing any of the benefits of soft water, our system took a dump and the search for a new water softener was on. After reviewing several companies listed on Yelp and having 5 in home consultations, I settled on San Tan Water Solutions to install a new water softener at my house. Water softeners are very expensive and their features can vary depending on what your needs are and how much $$ you want to spend on those additional features. I have a friend of mine who has a Kinetico system at his house. His water is ultra soft!! So soft I feel like I can't get soap to wash off of my hands. I don't really like my hands feeling like I just used them to wipe my runny nose. I know he spent over 4K on his system and he was very happy with it. I must admit that I want soft water. But not so soft that it made my skin feel like slime. When I contacted STWS and spoke with Grant I addressed my concern with him about not wanting to have the "slimy skin" feeling. Grant was very knowledgeable about the water conditions at Johnson Utilities and assured me that their systems can be adjusted to get the water softness to a level that works for you. They first impressed me by showing up on time the next day with all the equipment and parts, modified our plumbing to accept their equipment and set up its operation quickly and efficiently. They showed us what to do to maintain the system, left an instruction manual and promised to respond to any of our questions or service needs promptly. Well, I had heard that song before so I hoped I would not have to call them for a long time. Then , a couple of days ago, I noticed what appeared to be a leak from under one of the tanks. After shopping for a few different systems we decided to go with this company as they were the most professional, responsive, informative and cost friendly, considering the system we chose. We chose the top of the line RO system (5 tank system under the kitchen sink) and the whole house filtration system which includes a water softener tank as well as a carbon filter tank in the garage at the loop. We are so thankful for the service and quality of their product. The entire experience was great. We just moved to San Tan Valley and immediately noticed some differences in the water. My skin is very sensitive and it didn't react very well with the water out here. So we scheduled an appointment to have our water tested. And it turns out the water profile is naturally hard because most of the water supply comes from well water. And so we had them install a unit in our garage. The installation didn't last too long and the technician was very knowledgeable and the quality of his work was very good. It's been a few months now with our unit and the changes were immediately for the better. My skin is healing and feels healthy. Our clothes and fabrics seem to be cleaner. It's been a really long time since a person and a company has impressed me this much with the sales and service experience that I got from San Tan Water Solutions. Upon moving into our new spec home in the Gilbert/Chandler area, Grant from San Tan Water Solutions, knocked on our door. Grant was one of the most genuine people I've ever met, he was not pushy or condescending. We were interested in hearing what he had to say about water softeners, reverse osmosis and whole house water filtration systems, and he fully understood that we were literally just moving in, and he was patient with us in rescheduling at a time that worked best for us. When he came back he was a wealth of knowledge about water quality, etc., he even brought his little mini-science lab with him showing us what he was talking about with water samples and our own specific water quality. What was best about Grant is that he did not get frustrated with all of my stupid questions, coming from a woman who knows nothing about these things. He put it all in layman's terms. He worked with us on the things that mattered most to us with the kind of system we needed and wanted. He also took into account our budgetary concerns, as moving into a new house has so many other costs. After two visits to our house, and after he had answered soooooo many questions we had, we decided that going with their system that is estimated to be a 20+ year solution, rather than us installing a Home Depot or a Lowe's water softener that, due to the water quality out here would have needed replacing four or five times in 20 years, we went with San Tan Water Solutions. As a consumer, no matter what you pay, you want to feel like you got a good deal, and they really made us feel that way - very confident about the decision we made. They were able to have their plumber install it very soon after we made our decision to go with them, and he too, was really nice. Both of these gentlemen gave me their personal cell phone numbers to call them in case I ever needed anything (especially since my husband travels a lot).
