Decided to try a local spot tonight and we're very glad we came in tonight. Haven't been since they first opened up, they have def stepped up big time in all aspects. The food was very tasty, and it was popping for a Monday spot, kudos guys! The young lady that was helping us was by herself but she was hustling and attending to all her tables, thank you for your great service. They have a little outdoor patio which is nice for those cool summer evenings, maybe next time we'll try outdoor seating, very nice and decorated. Overall the food was tasty and very reasonable, we usually spend about $100 at AYCE but tonight it was about half the price for a good amount of food. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!! Online prices are WAY different than their in store prices so be careful. $45 for this is RIDICULOUSLY over priced. I asked for EXTRA wasabi and ginger and that's what they gave me (see photos). Tiny rolls for and insane price tag. It wasn't even that good. Most of these reviews on here either are super old or manipulated. There are SO MANY better places than this. I should have just cancelled my order when I got to the store but I bit the bullet. First time here I ordered beef deluxe bento and salmon deluxe bento. They called me when my order is ready, so I didn't waste my time. The portions of the food are pretty big, and the taste was good! (Oishii!!!) I like all dishes, but I really like the California roll. (When I order the bento from other places, usually California rolls are small, or lesser tasty.) So we've been ordering from here for about 3.5 years, today they lost good customers due to the quality of the food. We ordered 4 rolls, Poke bowl (salmon), sashimi salad. Not a single item was good. We didn't even finish our food. They also added shrimp tempura to the albacore night roll and my co-worker is allergic to shellfish. She gave the roll to me since I wasn't satisfied with my salad, I had two bites and didn't finish it because from the picture as you can see it doesn't look too appetizing. Although the name is San Sushi, it's not quite a sushi bar in the purist sense, and more like a japanese restaurant. There is no sushi bar. All orders are from the menu, and it offers numerous numbers of rolls, appetizers, ramen, bento. Overall, there is a little of everything. But I am here to try the sushi and the rolls. The rolls were delicious, and the sushi offering is fairly basic: tuna/salmon/yellow tail/unagi/tamago/ shrimp. But overall, the sushi tasted fresh. The rolls were nicely presented and flavorful. The check in offer for the service mochi ice cream is a nice touch. Although I would suggest that they don't drizzle chocolate syrup on the green tea ice cream. That just did not taste right. All these positive reviews must have been paid for. I've been to a lot of sushi restaurants and this is by far the worst. The food is all bland from the salad to the sushi rolls. Also, I have a feeling that their "cucumber salad" is leftover scraps (mainly peels) of maybe half a cucumber. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are a full sized adult and want a decent sized meal because their serving sizes are extremely tiny. The quality of the food in general is terrible. My bf got the yellowtail and albacore carpaccio but he preferred the yellowtail, it was more of a fresher taste, whereas the albacore carpaccio was a bit darker/heavier in taste. Their garlic edamame was not that great. I actually preferred their regular salted edamame over the garlic one even tho I like garlic. Service is always top notch! This is a good place to eat if you want to satisfy your sushi cravings! I've come here once but my favorite roll that I've tried is the Crispy Onion Albacore roll (I think that's what it's called). I usually don't like albacore but the sauce was so good! I also really liked their garlic edamame! Usually rolls come with 8 pieces but I like how it comes with 9! They have many items to choose from and they're all plated very nicely. The fish is also pretty fresh so they do have great quality for a reasonable price. Hidden Gem! This was a great find for my husband and me. I am not a sushi eater but they had plenty of options for me to enjoy. The beef teriyaki, beef dumplings, and edamame were delicious. My husband ate all the sushi and found it very delicious. They make a roll with a special house made sauces that was a wonderful blend of different oils and chili (was a little spicy) The staff was super kind and wonderful just be patient if it gets busy as there was only one waitress when we were here. The temperature entree was yummy I loved the options that were given. Miso soup and rice are good. Salads had fresh lettuce but the dressing was not good at all. This night my wife was craving sushi and specifically wanted to go to here. First off, can we just appreciate the deal for just $2.34 everyday you can get either a small hot sake or a Sapporo for that much. Talk about best deal ever! Careful pouring the hot sake if you get one, it's hot! I'd recommend trying it all here. I went with the sashimi sampler served with a unique wasabi vegetable sauce for dipping, which is the perfect size to get a taste of the essentials: tuna, yellowtail and salmon. Salmon is my personal favorite of all the fish out there. My wife and I are a sucker when it comes to salmon skin, so she ordered it as a cut roll and it hit the spot. Salmon skin was my first sushi I ate as a kid, from there on fish has been my all time favorite food, specifically sushi! The ambiance was quiet with some subtle jazz music playing in the background. The staff were always checking up on us to ensure they meet our needs. We will come back!
