Ecstatic with the results! I am not a fan of dentistry, at any level, due to endless bad experiences I've had since I can remember. Nevertheless, I have always wanted straight teeth and a decent smile. I interviewed/ consulted 3 different orthodontist, 2 of 3 brought up surgery procedures and appeared uncertain about taking on my case due to the difficulty level . Dr. Hosseini, on the other hand, welcomed the opportunity to put his experience and expertise to work- without surgery. The man is passionate about his craft and that was evident from the beginning and through out the treatment; often times dedicating personal-time to address any concerns. There is an expectation of a 2-way commitment to the treatment(s). There is no "overnight" results. Just took my braces off last Friday and I am unbelievably satisfied with my result! :) I had an extreme underbite and been wanting to get it fixed since I was younger. I forgot what age exactly but it was over 10 years ago when I I went to an orthodontist to get a consultation and they said that my underbite can only be fixed through surgery. I was devastated because I definitely cannot afford surgery at that time. I didn't even bother to get a second opinion and had to accept my underbite. Every single picture I took growing up I was never able to smile because of my underbite. i've always had straight teeth on the bottom but I had high canines on the top. So I HATED my smile and envy all my friends who smiled on pictures except for me :( About 2 years ago, I went to get another consultation from an orthodontist, certain that they will refer to a surgeon and I was curious to know how much it would cost. To my surprised he said he could fix it with braces, yet he would have to extract 4 tooth and that it will take quite a few years to fix my underbite but still advise that surgery is the best result, which can cost an arm and a leg. I was so close to going through with the procedure but I decided to get a second opinion. OMG I was so glad I went to San Leandro braces for a 2nd opinion. I was able to make an appointment for a consultation right away. When I first walked in the office I remember being very welcomed from Jasmine. I then met Dr. Hosseini, and he was very kind and thorough. He looked at my teeth and said "I can fix it, no surgery needed" he was so confident that I knew I was going to put my underbite in his hands. And guess what? only 1 tooth to be extract!!! I was able to get braces put on the day I came in for the consultation by Paula, which was also very nice and experienced. They were really easy going with my payment plan and let me choose the amount I want to put down to get the braces on. Based on the amount I put down that day, my agreed monthly payment was $100. They never once hassled me about my payments. I felt secure and can sense that Dr. Hosseini truly cares about his patients smile and not his pocket. I've had a real pleasant experience with Dr.Hosseni, Paula, and Jasmine. They were always very kind and accommodating. I was always able to get an appointment on the day, and at the time, that I want. My underbite and canine was fixed within just 23 months!! I honestly think it only took 23 months because Dr. Hosseni was tightening my braces every 2-3 weeks. Unlike other orthodontist, they would see their patients every 4 weeks and that prolong the procedure. As much as you want to be done with braces, he wants you with a perfect smile just as much. I honestly thought I would never get that perfect smile because I can't afford surgery. I was referred to Dr. Hosseini by a coworker. He was confident enough to recommend I got a consultation with other orthodontists firstly. LOL. I did. I came back and told him I didn't want any tooth extracted. He carefully examed my case. He patiently explained the need for it and did his best. I got 2 upper teeth out. He saved me one of the lower jaws which the other orthodontist insisted must be removed. After one year, my braces are off. Dr. Hosseini has me on an Invisalign for another year. Two things: 1) I called around 10am about getting retainers as I needed to replace my old ones. Both my daughter and son completed treatment here before . I took my daughter here to get braces again and also brought my husband here. Unfortunately the quality service is not the same as when San Leandro braces first opened. Prices have increased which is understandable however the quality of service has decreased. Before starting the contract to start service my husband and I confirmed that the office is able to see him on Saturday's however after a few appointments the ortho stated that he can no lounger accommodate to my husbands appointment, but he is open on saturdays. We had to go back and forth about the Saturday appointment. My daughter had an appointment today at 10:45 to get her wires put back on after a tooth extraction. I already communicated with the ortho a few days ago that she had to be out by 11:15 to make it to another appointment scheduled. The ortho stated that he had ample time to put on the wires and she'd be out by 11:15. At 11:30 she wasn't even seated to get her wires put back on. We were late to our appointment. I have other kids who need ortho treatment but because of the low quality and inconsistent service we will not be starting their treatment here at this practice. read more

This is literally the FOURTH place I went for a consultation, every orthodontist gave me different prices and conflicting information. This is the first that addressed all my issues AND the only one I felt comfortable enough to go ahead with the service. I was quoted a lower cost than the rest, only have to wear my brackets for 1 year, and they accept my insurance! I have had my braces for 3 months and my teeth are almost straight!
