Note, I have not replaced the battery since 2015 when I bought the car (as brand new). We went to this store on Tully. Shout outs to "Tien". He helped me with the process all throughout. He took his time to help me and educated me on how to replace the battery while he was doing it. I actually learned a lot from him. I was amazed how busy the place may be but he made sure everything was ok on my end. He also advised me to have the alternator checked at a different branch just to make sure everything is alright. Because the device to check the alternator was not available at the tully branch. I appreciate how he went the extra mile and went over and beyond our expectations. Please look for "Tien" to assist you. He sure impressed me with his customer service skills.

The engine was showing signs that it was heading toward a head gasket failure, which is unfortunately a common issue on these cars if the EGR system isn't serviced regularly. John replaced the engine with a low-mileage motor at a very fair price and had the car back to me in just three days. He also took the time to swap over several newer parts from my original engine, which I really appreciated. The car is running strong now, with no cold-start rattle or shaking like I was experiencing before. I'm very happy with the service, turnaround time, and overall experience. I would definitely recommend South Bay JDM to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price.

I initially called to ask for a price estimate for an engine replacement, and he provided a very reasonable and affordable quote compared to other automotive shops. After comparing prices, I realized that other shops would have easily charged me an additional $1,000-$2,000 more for the exact same job! Finding a reliable shop that offers fair pricing without compromising the quality of work is not easy, but John definitely delivered! What impressed me even more was the incredibly fast turnaround time! I dropped off my vehicle for an engine replacement, and within just ONE WEEK, my car was ready for pickup! Considering the amount of labor and work involved in replacing an entire engine, I was amazed at how quickly they completed the job. The best part? My car runs incredibly smooth, and I haven't experienced any problems whatsoever! Everything has been working great since picking it up, and I couldn't be happier with the results. John made the entire process easy and stress-free. His professionalism, reasonable pricing, and commitment to getting the job done efficiently really stood out to me. I highly recommend JDM Motor Engine to anyone needing an engine replacement or major automotive work. Before spending thousands more at another shop, give John a call and get an estimate. You might be surprised at how much money you can save! Thank you, John and the JDM Motor Engine team, for the excellent service, fast turnaround, and getting my car back on the road! Definitely a well-deserved 5-star review!

Overall terrible experience…read more I was looking for a very specific part that I needed that night, a helicoil to be exact. I saw online that this store had it so I called ahead to verify it. the first time I called they asked how may I help you. As soon as I began talking they cut me off and told me please hold then hung up. I figured it was a simple mistake so I called back and no one picked up. a couple of minutes later I tried again and they answered. I told the woman on the phone the item number and she said she'd check. when she told me they had it she said "it's for commercial, you need it?" to which I replied yes. She then asked me to hold on and I got hung up on again. I drove out to go get it and when I got there I stood in line for 25ish minutes then got up to the front and told the cashier the part number. she checked in the back and found that there was nothing matching what I was looking for. In summary, their phone service sucks, they gave me false information, and I drove 45 minutes out of my way for absolutely nothing. COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME
