If you've never been here before, Lolo is a shop in the Olmos Park area that specializes in high-quality products from Mexico. They work with artisans and make sure they get paid accordingly for their work to ensure a fair trade. Overall, I think is wonderful that they want to make sure that their art and work is being recognized outside of Mexico, and that they can depend on this partnership to succeed and have financial security. The store has everything you can imagine from clothing, to home decor, and other stuff. They have a nice variety of artists from all over the country and the prices are reasonable for the quality of work. Please note that these are high quality products and not the cheap stuff you find at other store during Fiesta. All of their products are unique pieces and it will reflect in the prices. Yvonne was so kind and welcoming. She told us that we could try on clothing and jewelry and that she would sanitize anything for us. She asked where we were from and we let her know that we'd come from Dallas for a few days. She gave us tons of great restaurant recommendations and even called a restaurant for us to make a reservation. I will definitely be coming back to shop here in the future!

I asked if they carried 2 different items and they answer without even looking up from what they were doing. I asked if they can order it and one answered she can try to order it individually and put out a pen and paper for me to write my info down and quickly walked back to her computer not once making any form of eye contact. I always try to support small local businesses but I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

I was there yesterday 4/23/25 and was treated horribly by the staff. That young girls were beyond…read morerude but especially the one with the multiple face piercings (that are rad btw) but she was just awful to deal with. She was very put out by me for asking questions because I was probably interrupting her drawing time. It was just a strange and awful experience. I walked out feeling gross like I was talked down upon and it bothered me for over an hour after leaving. I wish I had the experience the other people here giving a rating did.
