My husband and I lived at San Antigua for five years and really enjoyed the property and all the amenities. The office staff was always helpful and responsive, and the maintenance staff was exceptional. The apartment units and the grounds are kept up very nicely, and parking is rarely an issue. Other than having the occasional noisy or inconsiderate neighbor, the property is realtivly calm and quiet. Safety and security was decent, but there were occasional vehicles thefts or break-ins. There are cameras on site with some security, although this is an area that could use improvement with more active security measures around the property, especially since 2020. Overall, our experience was great and we would recommend San Antigua. read more

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! Management treats their residents horribly and charge you for things not even on the lease! They make up things, send you bills and force you to pay it and if you don't, they will threaten to send you to a collection agency. I was born and raised in this area and did my research and wish I never moved in here. I pay over $1300/month for this?! Everything is always broken-gym equipment, pool, cafe. There is never any parking and no assigned parking, so good luck with finding any place to park your car. There have been multiple break ins and there are no security cameras OR security on grounds. San Antigua- was the best apartments I ever lived in. They gave themed food truck days, random free breakfast days, snow cone days, bingo, and so much more. The amenities of gym, office, pool tables and pool areas are also fantastic. The staff was always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Jessica the manager set the example of not giving orders but leading by example. She was always willing to help us and answer any question my wife and I had. Absolute great place to live. The apartments are nice but the assistant property manager kelly is trash. Had I encountered her the first day I came to view the apartments instead of Jessica I would have never attempted to apply. The way she spoke to me over the phone was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE. I imagine that the corporate office does not have a clue who they have working for them. The lady was so condescending in the way she spoke to my sister and I. I felt as though I was being attacked. She tried to tell my sister who walked in the building with me that she couldn't come into the office with us to discuss my concerns regarding application. When I told her I was a nurse and I fully understand privacy policy and refused her refusal she tried to change her attitude towards me. At that point it was too late. The phone call prior to coming in to discuss I tried to explained to her I was only asking questions because I was confused at their findings and that I was looking to rent short term while I find a house and that I've been approved already to purchase a home her response was exactly this "well you are looking for a home then you don't need us then ". I was totally applaud like really ??... What kind of response is this. She was very disrespectful and I got a vibe the woman is racist and pure evil. There's absolutely no reason to treat anyone this way. She needs to be fired and after reading some of these reviews I clearly see I'm not alone in that there are plenty of others who have had a horrible experience with this lady. She refused to grant me a copy of the report which I'm not satisfied and plan to take further action regarding this. I say who cares how nice an apartment is if the people who you have to deal with are nasty it's not a place anyone in their right mind would want to be. I've been living here for around 3 years and have never felt so safe somewhere before. I work in the apartment industry myself and to see how much of a work load management has in addition to all the resident- life situations thrown their way, I have a crazy amount of respect for San Antigua's management team. Jessica, the property manager is one of the reasons I still stay here even though my work commute is very far. She genuinely cares for people and this property. Fire alarm late at night? She was here immediately while PREGNANT! Resident issue with noise? Back to the property after hours to handle it. The staff over all is amazing, maintenance gets work orders done quickly, the building is great, the landscaping is always fresh, alive and gorgeous, and the team works hard to keep the property safe. At renewal they do whatever they can to take care of you and make you feel valued as a resident. Jasmine, Iliana, and Kelly also make this place extra wonderful! I had a very pleasant experience leasing an apartment home at San Antigua. The staff is very friendly, upbeat & happy, and the atmosphere is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I was actually greeted & went though the entire leasing process with their manager Richard. He was very knowledgeable about the property & VERY patient with me while I went back and forth at least 20 times about how many bedrooms/ price range/ garage-no garage/ storage unit or no storage unit, what floor, what kind of view I wanted etcetera... If you're thinking about leasing at San Antigua I highly recommend Pool View, the pool is stunning at nighttime! Other Things I've Enjoyed...the complementary water provided in the gym (it's really good water), the fact that the treadmills have I-pod attachments, the Starbucks coffee/Tea bar in the leasing office, the elevators & the valet trash pick up. read more

I was unjustly treated here. I believe I was discriminated against here for being a black woman. I was an excellent candidate for an apartment. I have excellent credit 680 score, clean background, and a successful business making six figures. I passed all the requirements and I was respectful and timely with everything they asked. I have almost $70,000 in my savings account. Not only did they reject me, but then tried to change the rules every time I had a rebuttal for why I was qualified. I was told to make 3x the rent, they said we are changing it to 4x the rent after I applied. Take note I make 10x the rent. They said they needed 3 bank statements. I gave them 10 months worth of bank statements. They said they needed tax return, I gave them the tax return. I offered to pay the rent for the year to make them comfortable ($18,000). I own the most booked catering company in the city. They told me they let waitresses use there bank statements and are welcome to live here, but not me. They said they decided not to take bank statement anymore after I applied. The manager told me, her boss said ''no matter what, we are denying this applicant''.The anguish of being treated like you're not good enough is profound. I am an active member in the community, business scholar, preacher, and christian woman. I have decided to contact the state, the city, fair housing, and community organizations about this injustice. It is a crime to discriminate housing against someone in Texas. I am an American citizen. I am an extremely successful single black woman. I will fight this injustice with everything I have. I believe they looked me up and saw I was black. If they discriminate against you here, make it your business to file complaints, sue, and write reviews. Timeline of events: 02 Jun - spoke to Iliana who was very friendly and eager to show us their model unit - she confirmed an available unit for our prefered move in date (1-bedroom/4th flr./pool facing) - before we left, I confirmed with Iliana that I would be able to submit the application online - after viewing several apartment options, my husband and I decided to go with San Antigua - I went online but the system was not displaying the unit that Iliana had advised on 03 Jun - called the leasing office at 1:01 pm sharp (their office opens at 1 pm) and spoke to a consultant who confirmed that there was something wrong with their online application system, BUT that I should not worry because she will make sure the unit is reserved for me - If there is a recording, do listen to it because I am not making this stuff up 04 Jun - received an email from the manager advising that they had leased out the unit to someone else. No apologies. - I responded back to her advising that I am aware how the leasing market works (applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis) but that it was the consultant who promised that she would reserve the unit because their online application system was faulty lessons learned: - do not do your application online because if there is a system glitch, you have no other option but to return to the office and make the application in person - like I said, I am aware of how the leasing market works but still, I believed the promise made by the consultant of reserving the unit for me due to their faulty online application system just by this transaction, I am glad I am not renting at San Antigua. no doubt, the apartment units are nice, but if the management can easily break their promise to one person, they can do it to other people too. read more

The fact that I've come to write this review two months after moving out should be demonstrative of how professional this apartment was and how comfortable we were. Our one-bedroom apartment was big and had tons of storage. I was specially appreciative of the large pantry. All their appliances were new and looked elegant. We also had a garage for about $45 a month. The community hosted events for residents every month. There was movie nights, BBQ specials, brunch events, bingo and trivia nights, and more. What I loved the most about this place, was the excellent service we received every single day. Maintenance was quick to respond, our dog was much loved and received treats every time we went to the leasing office,and our packages never got lost. Security was great and while there were some small incidents during our time there, I always saw the management involved. They even had security cameras installed and there was a courtesy officer living on premises. They had a decent-sized dog park that I think could be a little better with a water fountain and more pet-friendly vegetation (dogs often threw up after munching on some grass there!), But they even hosted doggie socials in collaboration with Kriser's. Our neighbors were mostly nice. The only reason we moved out was because we wanted to change of location since we had lived here for two years. I'd recommend this place to everyone considering moving to the area. read more

This ain't another inflated over rated fanboy Yelp review. I'm critical of places I experience, especially places where I have lived. I moved from Irvine CA and was worried about finding a place that lived up to my Irvine bubble expectations. I can honestly say San Antigua has met and even surpassed high living standards. It's even better than most overpriced places I rented in OC. The apartments are fully upgraded with great amenities. It really does feel like a "resort" style living with music playing in the pool areas and modern decor all around. But what really stands out it is the staff. They are on point and friendly professionals who take care of your requests in time. They even remember who you are and hold fun free events with food and drinks. Jessica, the apartment manager, doesn't keep track of how many guests people have during the summer so it's over run by people who don't live there. They break glass by the pool and don't clean up after their dogs. The winter is quiet, because she always closes the hot tub during the only months it would actually be nice to have. Management also lets people party until 3am on weeknights, and they never in my years living here have checked parking passes, so the parking lot is always full of too many more cars than it's designed to hold. The "events" they like to host are often multi-level marketing schemes selling junk essential oils. Save yourself a headache and don't live here. Living here was awesome, the front office staff was always excellent and attentive, maintenance issues were addressed in a typically reasonable time with minimal need for reminders. I even convinced an acquaintance from my salon to seriously consider these and she moved in and loves it! The facilities are very nice and VERY well-kept, overall a beautiful place to live. Plus the staff are extremely accommodating of any issues, checking in your apartment if needed, and keeping tabs on the status of the grounds. I really struggled with leaving, I completely loved the location and everything about the complex, it's staff, and the other resident population. My only complaint is that when I moved out, I had nearly $500 in my rent account (where you can do auto-payments like I did and store any credit you got depending on specials). After they did the walk-through and said I was all set and there didn't seem to be any issues, I waited to see if I was contacted for any residuals. Nothing. So I went to take out my "just in case" funds, only to discover they had made two charges (for generalized wall damage and floor damage) totaling the EXACT amount (down to the penny) of what was in my account. After having the place professionally cleaned and the carpet treated, plus having checked everything myself and noting only a small 3" rub where my trashcan had been against the wall in the kitchen (I could've dabbed on paint myself but didn't have time and figured they'd probably overcharge but no more than $50), I'm not sure how there was nearly $500 worth of damage in the exact amount of my account - it was clear these charges were created so the company could keep whatever was in the account. And charged without them contacting me AT ALL to inform me of charges. After my two years here that was very disappointing. That's not a huge amount of money for me but that would be very impactful to the typical apartment resident to lose unexpectedly. Word to the wise - DO NOT leave anything extra in your rent account when you give your notice. Otherwise a great place to live! Honestly, still undeniably the best of the area's options, so I highly recommend living here but take the necessary precautions against shady charges when you finally do leave. read more
