I really love this community. There are so many great things to say about it that I don't really know where to start. Pros: Free Valet Parking Spacious Floor Plans Year round pool Gym and yoga room Wine Cellar Dog Area Walkable Neighborhood Great Property Management Team 24 Hr Concierge Cons: None Really I lived there over a year and I loved it! There are really no cons, because this place is amazing. The only issue I had, which is not really an issue at all, is that the pool wasn't heated....it would have been nice in the cooler months. If I've ever had an issue - the maintenance and management team both respond quickly and resolves any issues with haste and grace. Honestly, I have nothing but great things to say about Keith (Property Manager), Muhammad/Augstin (Valet) and Emmanuel/Aira (Concierge). The entire staff is top notch and goes above and beyond for the residents (some names I couldn't remember). If you are looking for a new apartment, I highly recommend you stop by for a tour. I liked Han Solo, and I'm disappointed to see Han Over after they killed him off. This is where we almost moved to, despite living in a much, much, much cheaper place just down the road (less than a mile away). These are way nicer and also slightly closer to the stuff we want to be close to. We decided against it because (a) as lovely as the apartments are, there are a few potential problems which we think make it a no-go, (b) the prices are too high, considering we pay less than half of this for (admittedly less comfy and fancy) more floor space and more rooms, and then (c) because the majority of the good reviews here are so blatantly and obviously written by the company themselves (same writing style, quirks, typos). I don't have a problem with people writing false-positive reviews for their own places, I know a lot of places do it, but it doesn't make me rush to sign a contract and move in, you know? read more

Loved this place at first. Half of the staff is great. Nice floor plans and amenities. However, living in constant construction hell (its literally right next door) is not what I had in mind. It's my new alarm clock at 7am every day except SundayAnd kiss any southern views goodbye. Wish I had known this before I moved in - don't let them fool you! I can't write a response to their comment but I will say this - the manager John is an idiot. It comes from the top down where they did nothing whatsoever to help me. My lease wasn't renewed (prior to their post) and the apartment still. was empty last I checked in April. I moved to an amazing three story town home in Rice Military for the same price. The construction is 7am - 6pm, Monday - Saturday. It is absolutely miserable living on the southern side of the complex. We were not told there would be construction before moving in, and the leasing agent Sydney no longer works here that gave us the tour. I'm currently talking with a lawyer about what I can do to get out of my lease. Go somewhere else. Edit: I added a video from inside the apartment to demonstrate noise level. It will only get worse the higher the building gets. I also got a nice wave from the crane operator here. Edit 2: I've updated the review to 4 stars since property manager John Quiroz was helpful in finding us a new unit away from the construction. The downtown side of the apartment is gorgeous and quiet. I have no negative words for this side of the building. I know not all things are controllable by John, so I will keep this update brief. My only advice would be to make sure you are comfortable with the noise in your unit before finalizing anything. read more

If the Hanover Montrose is in your budget when searching for an apartment, I highly recommend looking at it first or last - since it'll either set you standards high or blow everyone else away. When I first signed my lease to the community everything was great! Once I moved in everything started going down and down hill. There was always a leak above my tub. The management most importantly are so rude!! Even with me living there their communication sucked and you can never get in contact with them. They never call back and always busy and they are going to blame it on "Tours" everyday! This year there was 2 burglaries!! 3 cars where stolen from the garage including mine!!!!!! All they said was call the insurance company and did not really care! Once I moved out they charge for every little thing new carpet, walls, etc and I was barley there!!! Overall, the Hanover Montrose is a high quality luxury apartment in a great location. It has amazing amenities and friendly front staff including the concierge and valet! The only downsides are the prices for rent and the fact that the pool now has the sun blocked by the new building next door. The gym is elevated for an apartment and even includes a stretching room with a full wall of mirrors and barre. Views are great from the units and 9th floor pool, grills, and seating area. This is the perfect place to spend a nice evening! The Hanover is walking distance from many bars and restaurants on Westheimer and it's even walkable to Hermann park and the Museum District. Michaelan was very helpful and knowledgeable when she gave me my tour. Extremely pleasant to deal with. John, who apparently is the manager, is a jerk. I had an appointment scheduled for a tour and he was too busy to show me around. When I wanted to see the pool area he said he did not have time as he "had other clients waiting." I looked around the lobby area and did not see anyone waiting around. It concerns me that he is the manager as this raises concerns about how I would be treated if I was a tenant there. The building itself and the units are exceptionally nice. Pricey, but well worth it. I am waiting for a particular model to open up and then will likely apply. read more

I wanted to make a quick update to my previous post. I have been at Hanover Montrose for 3 months and the experience has been amazing. As with everything in life, there are always bumps in the road that happen. It is completely unreasonable for anyone to expect there to never be bumps in a road when any sort of relationship (be it personal, professional or business) exists. Hanover Montrose management and leasing organizations not only understand this, but go out of their way to make matters better than before. I am extremely impressed on how they handle situations and their willingness to ensure resolution and satisfaction, even in situations where I might have been wrong or incorrectly assumptive. They worked with me and I am highly impressed with their level of professionalism and courtesy. Hanover Montrose continues to exceed my expectations and this is truly showing to not just be "rent" but almost like an investment - it's worth every penny. I lived here for 3 years straight. Best hi-rise to live in Montrose! The staff is very friendly and will always try their best to help the residents, especially Tiffany! She helped me antime I needed anything and even gave me an extra day to move out with no charge! This building offers an entire ammenity floor with a pool, theatre, lounge, kitchen, and personal gym. There's a huge dog run downstairs with bike and wine storage. I haven't lived in a building with more to offer for the price! read more

Luxury at its finest!!! My family and I are moving to Houston from Seattle so we've been taking tours to figure out where we wanted live. By far the best high rise apartments we've seen. Amazing amenities, especially the pool. Everything was brand new which I LOVE! Great size apartments with jaw dropping views! Toured the 2bed/2bath floor plans which were all great. Every room had those huge windows so you can see all of Houston. The bathrooms, oh man ... I didn't want to leave! Huge bathrooms, huge showers! Everything here was top notch from the appliances to the floors. Perfect location! There's a 24hr Krogers right next door, a 24hr Walgreens, and my favorite, a Kung Fu Tea :) Tiffany and John were both amazing! Tiffany was sweet and made me feel very comfortable when touring. I wasn't rushed and she didn't make me feel pressured to sign a lease. Overall, they have an amazing team. Can't wait to live here and spend all my time on the balcony and enjoy the warm weather and sun. read more
