I tried to run the pump, to no avail, no water. I called our regular plumber, who took a few calls to get a reply around 8 p.m. After hearing the situation, they suggested D& L Pump. I called D&L and received an immediate call back from Ed who diagnosed it most likely a hole in the well pipe and agreed to come first thing in the morning. Ed arrived at 8 a.m. and located the well with a metal detector. He then dug down to confirm the location and said he would return by 1 with equipment to dig out and replace the damaged well pipe with a new submersible pump. He returned with his son, Austin, and Will who capably and professionally removed and replaced the well pipe and pump, in the rain, by 5:30. They are consummate professionals. I recommend them without hesitation.

I explained this to Well Dr. He came out, took a look at my pressure tank, and after fiddling with the pressure switch he told me my well pump needed to be dug up and replaced. He gave me a quote of $3500. Well... I went onto YouTube and searched the symptoms. Watched a 5 minute video that explained the cause was a faulty pressure switch. I called another well pro and told them I needed to replace a pressure switch. They gave me a quote of $167. They came out the next day, replaced the switch and added a little air to the tank and the problem was completely solved!! I'm pretty sure Well Dr knew this. Why wouldn't you suggest the less costly fix if these are such common problems. Your supposed to be an expert. Only one reason. He wanted money and thought he could get away with it! Think again and now everyone knows too.

They also offered no warranty on their work to replace the wire down to the well. The new wiring was almost 2k and they offered no warranty for the work. We were in a desperate situation with no water and didn't have much choice at that point. The owner was condescending and said he gave us a "deal" on the wire. When I researched the cost of the wire quoted on line, we were most definitely overcharged 2-3x. I would not call again.

We woke up to a nightmare scenario on Christmas Eve morning - no water coming from my parents'…read morefaucets. My parents live out in the country (in Montgomery County) and thus aren't connected to any city water supply, with a ground water well that goes down ~235 feet. We had a Christmas Eve party planned for later that evening, followed by a big day with family on Christmas. But without any water, we were completely screwed - I thought we were going to have to call an audible and transfer everything over to my sister's house, which would be less than ideal. Moreover, we didn't know how bad the situation was - there was a drought over the summer of 2024, so we worried our well might have run dry. This had already happened to my parents ground water well back in 1984, forcing them to re-drill the well over 100 feet deeper (a major undertaking for anybody who's gone through this). Given that it was Christmas Eve, we didn't know if anybody would be available to help us; but fortunately, my Dad was able to get ahold of C.S. Garber & Sons in Douglassville, who sent a crew out to us immediately. Shawn and Aidan got to my parents' house around 9 AM, quickly diagnosed the problem, and got to work right away. They determined we had plenty of water in our well (i.e. it didn't go dry) but weren't getting any current from the well pump, which had finally stopped working after 48 years. They got their equipment setup and started pulling the old pump out, which got stuck halfway, leading us to wonder if the well had collapsed. Fortunately, with Aidan's strong frame pulling, they eventually got the pump jarred loose - most likely a large rock was in the way. They even had a brand new ¾ horsepower pump in their work truck, which is exactly what my father wanted to replace our old 1/2 horsepower pump with. Got the new pump hooked up, placed back down into the well and working in no time. They were done before noon and we had zero issues thereafter. Shawn and Aidan are real-life superstars that quite literally saved our Christmas! Can't recommend these guys enough if you're having water issues or an emergency at your house or business.
