I am free and clear of what was affecting me , because of a well rounded, balance, knowledgeable and competent physician, Doctor Mourani. I am just thankful to God that he made Dr. Mourani. He is the definition of a remarkable human being and a gentleman. And one who defines medicine. His Nurse practitioner in the Glendora office is a terrific representation of him. She is hands on and a "people person". The way she treats you is therapeutical.. It helps you to forget that you even had a problem while you were there. There are others' who calls themselves doctors and NP out there, who can take a page from their books to improve themselves as human beings and who they claim to be in their profession. Dr Mourani is effective, competent, knowledgeable and thorough, because he his is operating within his God given gift, and not to identify with prestige or profit. Even though one has to work to earn their living, he is well deserving of his , he earns it everyday. He is a part of the few doctors on earth who are the very best. The staff at the Arcadia surgical facility are very sweet and caring. There are some out there who calls themselves doctors when they should be plumbers. they were never mean to be doctors, so they have no clue as to what they are doing. Simply put, Dr. Mourani sees too many patients. His nurse practitioner told me he saw 17 patients after lunch alone. My appointments were usually rushed and lasted less than 10 minutes. They recommend using the patient portal, but that seems to be a way for them to avoid phone calls. It takes a week to hear back, and then they just tell you to schedule an appointment...an appointment that is usually months out due to his scheduled. I have gotten no relief or solution to the stomach issues I am having. I had a few tests done, and they were posted to the portal without any phone call to explain them. For someone who is being told they have anxiety, this seems like a really poor approach. I came because of the recommendations on yelp, but I feel those are mostly outdated now. I would avoid Insight Digestive completely. They are in the business of churning through as many patients as possible to make money plain and simple. read more

I decided to book An appointment based on reviews only to be let down. I decided to remove my gallbladder after holistic treatments didn't work, and I was experiencing pain. I explained to the doctor that I was diagnosed 7 years prior. My first consultation was good, courteous staff and had the endoscopy done. He said, that He hadn't seen the cleanest Colon and gallbladder in awhile. No gallstones, but my gallbladder disagreed horribly with his diagnosis and hospitalization a year later to remove my gallbladder with 2 huge stones. read more

I found this office through the network list for my insurance. I read some yelp reviews and decided to come here. The front desk receptionist checked me in and was super friendly. We had a long conversation and she was extremely energetic, warm, and had a passion in her work which reflected in her rapport with the patients including myself. Dr Mourani is very thorough and conducted a detailed patient visit. He took time to talk to me and get to know my issues and provided me with education material for a modified diet. The visit didn't feel rushed. He also recommended probiotics which they sell in office which is convenient. If you need an appointment call because they get booked up which is pretty much all physician offices these days. I had a long wait before my office consultation, but it was worth it because this physician is very sincere and detailed. read more

I never thought I would think of a colonoscopy as a good experience. Dr. Mourani is so incredibly kind, knowledgeable and patient that the entire experience is really nothing to fear. The prep was so much better than anything I have experienced in the past. The out patient facility was terrific. I was in and out in two hours. Giving him one star because I felt that they were after money, the amount of lying about bills and how much the insurance company is going to pay and how much you are going to pay is ridiculous for any company. But of course, it's a medical establishment so they are the grim reapers here. I really disliked the surprise billing approach from these doctors. Taking advantage of patients when they're most vulnerable going through a medical procedure that you recommended. First thing in this doctor's eyes was money, did not even say one full paragraph to me ever, he does not talk, he constantly recommends expensive procedures while not even knowing his basic field. The fact that they don't tell you how much the procedure cost upfront is a big warning sign that this is a shady business. read more

I called to schedule my mom an appt. to see Dr. Mourani today. She doesn't have insurance so i mentioned we would pay everything in cash.. The person i spoke to said they don't accept new patients without insurance even though paying in cash. We have been to other specialists for consultations and procedures for other health issues and without a problem they schedule the appt. for a consultation. I feel they should at least allow new patients pay for cash for a consultation to get an opinion and not turned away just because they don't have insurance. It is unusual to find a good doctor and has a good staff. It's usually one or the other not both. Everyone is very professional and makes you feel safe and comfortable. I've visited this facility yesterday and met Dr. Mourani. He performed my colonoscopy my entire experience was outstanding. The moment I walked in the door the reception was professional and extremely efficient and everything explained in great detail with a smile. The restrooms were immaculate. The nurses who help me prepare and recover from my procedure answered all my questions made sure I was very comfortable and even reviewed my blood pressure readings multiple times at my request. The beds were firm and adequate. The Doctor and his team prior to the procedure and after the procedure were extremely knowledgeable, professional and very witty. I'm surprised that there was only one review here, though it was a very good review and it really helped me make a decision about where to go for my recent procedure. Anyway, I was happy to use Dr. Mourani - for one, the location was convenient for me, but more than that, I felt very comfortable throughout the process! Setting up the appointment, moving it, getting the follow-through prep instructions, and finally the procedure itself all went very smoothly. I had procrastinated this procedure for so many years because of fear. Well, it turned out to be a very simple process after all, and I'm glad I finally did it. Dr. Mourani is a very pleasant man with great bedside manner. The facility was clean and comfortable, the nurses and attendants were amiable--they really try to put you at ease. Though I have to say they are very busy there! Anyway, the only negative experience I had was an allergic reaction (sinus irritation) to the oxygen tube, which I later found out, happens to a lot of people. I had itchy and runny nose for 4 days! We have been going to see Dr. Mourani for over 20 years, starting with colonoscopies, endoscopies and diagnosis and treatment of acid indigestion, and gastritis. He was originally a referral from our primary care physician. He is knowledgeable, professional, and kind. After years of suffering from stomach distress caused by a bacterial infection, my wife was treated and cured by Dr. Mourani.
