Absolutely not. No. Attached is a photo of my previous review. If you have any special needs or…read moreaccommodations, do not go here as you will be unheard, dismissed, and pushed out the door. Now if I could give zero stars I would. After a few more terrible visits where I went to this provider asking for help, mo concerns were dismissed and I kept being told to go to a psychiatrist. I know I have medical PTSD and I've had it for more than a decade. It is under control the best it is as long as doctors don't trigger it. No matter what I went in for, the answer was to see a psychiatrist. The last straw was me going in for a torn bicep tendon (which I had confirmed from another doctor who wasn't a complete hack) and she told me to take B complex and see a psychiatrist. Im sorry but what the F. So I left and posted a 1 star review on Google. The office called me right away and demanded I remove it. I said no. Now, if you go on the practices Google page, my review is not there. They removed it. All you can find on their page is 5 star reviews down the line and 2 one star which they have replied to. Shady, if you ask me.

I went on Zocdoc and looked for another physician in my network and found Dr. Liu based on positive reviews. I made my appointment via zocdoc and the clinic subsequently called me to confirm and get my insurance information. Check in was a breeze and the waiting time wasn't too bad. I got all the routine checkups and met with Dr. Liu. She's seems extremely knowledgeable and cares about her patients. She listens to you if you have any questions or concerns. I didn't feel like she was trying to rush through the appointment like how I've felt at other doctor visits before. They set you up with a patient portal where you can create an account and log in to see your lab results. This is the first time I'm experiencing the use of such technology at a clinic and needless to say, I'm very impressed. For the followup, I was given the option of an in person visit or a virtual visit and I chose the latter so I won't have to deal with the busy streets of flushing and the headache of traffic and parking in the area. You aren't given a specific time for the virtual visit, but just a range of a few hours, since the doctor calls you when she has time in between patients. I wish that the virtual visits were more coordinated, but other than that, overall I had a positive experience.

Dr Zhu was very attentive and gave me ample time to deliberate over my conditions. I saw him for an annual checkup and chose him as a PCP. Time will tell if he is the one for me. Would recommend this office for anyone looking for a PCP.

He has since expanded his practice to a larger location with more staff (he even has a physician's assistant or nurse). As the previous reviewer said, he is very friendly and soft spoken. Dr. Wang even goes above and beyond to answer your concerns. A couple of years ago when I was traveling to India, his office didn't have the preventative travel medication I needed so he searched on his computer to help locate a pharmacy that can order medication so he could administer the injection for me @ his office. He even called the pharmacy right then and there to place order! I suspect his great bedside manners is why his waiting room is packed. I've waited over 2 hours to see him, and that is also due to the fact he doesn't take appointments. There is a sign in sheet, and it is first come first serve. He speaks very good English, Mandarin and a dialect that I can't pinpoint, maybe Wenzhou-nese. His staff aren't as friendly but aren't rude either, just straight to the point, no warm greetings but hey it is a Chinese doctor office so what do you expect? Another great thing is he has late office hours, I think he is opened until 8 or 9pm on most days. On Thursdays, he opens at 6pm so just a heads up. I'm holding back on 5 stars because there is room for improvement, so it's more like 4.5 stars.
