He helped get me slightly more than what the system was showing is the average for trade ins (I don't want the hassle of selling them myself online even though I know I can get more sometimes) and honored an online deal even though his store didn't show the deal on their system. I use pay later apps if I'm eager to get something and don't wanna spend all the money upfront and said app was being a pain and causing a bunch of issues. I kept apologizing to him and he was very generous and said it was okay and don't apologize. It took longer than it should have to set up the pay later app and he was so friendly about it the entire time and was even joking with me and my wife while he waited. He made me feel like he actually wanted to help instead of just seeing me as another sale. He definitely deserves his flowers for being one of the best sales associates I've ever had, anywhere! Thank you Felix for your help with getting me a dream guitar of mine.

The guys behind the counter are really knowledgeable and no nonsense kinda guys. I could look at the guitars for hours. Most of the stuff I shop for like strings or chords are behind the counter so you can't browse like other stores. I do enjoy just looking at stuff and you can't really do that here. For instance, I might look through guitar straps. I'm not looking to buy one, I just like looking at some of the crazy designs, but these are behind the counter. You can ask to see them a they're more than happy to let you look at them, but it's not the same feeling. Especially when I'm just looking, I feel like I'm wasting the guy's time. However, they've always had what I'm looking for and even helped me out when I was looking for a gift. These guys are super helpful and you should always check here first before going to the big box stores. You'll feel better when you see where your dollars are going locally. They even do repairs; a service I haven't used yet, but need to. Check these guys out.

I was hesitant at first because I had read previous reviews that they were over priced and rude. I'm not one to let that discourage me so I finally stopped by there to see what they had. I am glad I did, they have a huge selection of instruments and accessories. The prices are very affordable and the guy that helped us was very very friendly and helpful. I'm my humble opinion that combo is hard to come by. Usually a locally owned music store or any music store at that the staff is rude and condescending but this wasn't the case at all here. I will definitely be coming here for all my music needs. They also have lessons which is pretty cool. I have always been more partial to buying locally, so glad I know if this place now. If you are a fellow Las Crucean, you know that a good local shop of any kind (but especially a music shop) is about more than just the gear--it's about the people behind the counter. There's a reason Hubbard's has been a staple in Las Cruces for so long. It's the gold-standard of local music shops. It offers an environment that's more than just retail---it feels like a community hub. I had a great experience trading in some gear recently and picked up a new guitar. I got exactly what I wanted. Dru (the owner) took the time to walk through everything with me and was very, very fair on the trade. It's rare to find a shop where you feel truly heard and respected as a musician. If you can get to Las Cruces, NM, and need music gear advice, repairs, etc., go see Dru and his team. Support local and shop here! I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
