However, the loan provider never received the title to the vehicle we purchased. When I reached out to Tom's Auto several times to resolve the issue and showed up in person I was given the runaround and even laughed at for being concerned that I had paid off a vehicle and had no title for it. I don't even think they tried to locate the title or investigate what happened. It was a huge hassle. I was told by the loan provider that this is a common occurrence with Tom's Auto, though I've read reviews about them from different platforms and have not seen anything pertaining to this particular issue. After spending time making phone calls to Tom's and the loan provider and being told to go to the DOT and then to go to the county treasurer I did have the issue resolved at the treasurers office. I did get the title to my vehicle. It was very frustrating and unnecessary to have to deal with this. All because the documents were mishandled.

I have owned the car for less than five months and discovered what a piece of junk it is (after I paid top dollar for the car is worth). Avoid this dealership at all costs, especially if you don't have a ton of cash lying around to repair the car they sell you, and beware of any car you do end up purchasing. Overall, I feel screwed over, and if you are not careful. You will likely end up in the same situation I am in. This place will screw you over with no remorse, and this is the exact type of place that gives car dealerships a bad reputation. Beware, and buy at the risk of being screwed over. He said no. 5 more times we tried to get him to look at it & he refused stating no boss said do this so lets go. He had plenty of chances while charging the battery to the car we were there to get but didn't bother to come near the car. Even while we took the plates off, he walked over by it to grab something but didn't pay the car any attention. He claims we spray painted the car which I have PICTURES that prove it has NEVER been spray painted! He contacted us demanding we return HIS vehicle & stated we were 100% dishonest. Nothing we told him or showed him was a lie. This car is worth the $16,000 as said, we have picture proof of value by Kelley Blue Book themselves as I had it checked to see what it is worth. They got a $16,000 for a $10,000 car. They made odd with the better deal. Do NOT go to them. The listing they had for this car is NO where near what is ture about it. We had our mechanic look it over it's missing parts! It can NOT be used for heat or air! It's doesn't have them in it for these to work. It says the interior is great, yet BOTH doors on the inside need FULLY replaced. So who scammed who? They are terrible people to deal with, disrespectful, & liars! We are keeping this car as we wanted a project car & oh boy howdy is it ever. It barely made it to the gas station across the street as it was BONE DRY - took $115 to fill it, when you'd think it'd have maybe 1/4 in it go go anywhere. I do NOT reccommend anyone come here. They have a 1956 chevy listed for $20,000 yet the photos were edited to make it look nicer than it really is, they car in person is trash & is FULL of scratches unlike the photos online! BE WARY & WARNED if you look at their lot! Nothing is as they claim! Also he waited 2 hours to contact us beimg unpeofessional & cursing at us. Stating things that didn't happen (again I have proof). I can't poat photos here but You can find them on fb! So he has decided to lie & post these lies on his Fb page for this car lot. I confronted him & he got mad, so I posted a review there aside from google. He states he NEVER seen any photos of our car & that we lied & pulled a fast one over on him. I screen shot all convo! Everytime I posted proof he was a liar not me, he deleted it. He endes up blocking me for continuing to post photos of all screen shots on both his main personal page & the work page. I posted the messages on my own FB... I also took screen shots of more lies he was trying to pull which pissed him off more. He is SCUM! NO ONE on my end lied or was dishonest I can show proof all day long, do NOT buy from here!!!!!
