While I waited for callbacks from two of them, I noticed I had a broken torsion spring, and that replacement looked too tricky for me to attempt. Fortunately, I saw Bob's number here on Yelp. I left a message at 3:00 Sunday afternoon when Yelp said he was closed, and he called me back, saying he was available at 9:00 the next morning. Not only did he arrive 20 minutes early, but he did a very thorough job in an hour and a half. He replaced both springs and the central bearing, refastened the motor to my garage ceiling, replaced both drums and cables, tidied up the cabling and sprayed every moving part with a special garage door lubricant. The parts he stocks are noticeably better than what I would have picked up at Home Depot. His price was very reasonable as well. AJ's Overhead door had a high rating so I called this company along with a few others. Theo was the first to get back to me. He sent me a message via Yelp stating he would call me in 5 mins. He let me know there was not enough tension on the door which is why it would not open. From arrival to completion it took about 30 minutes to fix. Three months after MJ installed our garage door springs, one of our door cables failed on a Sunday…read moreafternoon and I couldn't close the door. I contacted Four Seasons. They said that they couldn't come out until the next day to address the problem. I told them that I couldn't leave our garage door open all night. I also told them that I wouldn't trust them to work on our door again, so I had to hire another garage door company to install new cables and install new springs (the springs that MJ installed were the wrong size and caused the cables to fail). I contacted Four Seasons and spoke with Abilash ( a manager). He said that Four Seasons will not take responsibility for this issue because I didn't wait for them to inspect the door. There is nothing I can do now other than advise anyone who has new springs installed (I wouldn't hire Four Seasons to do this work) to make sure they install the right size. Every newer garage door should have a tag attached to the door that specifies the correct spring size for the door. Make sure that you review this with the installer before he installs the new springs.
