Two: we went to the cafe after shopping because you work up an appetite well they didn't have the salad like the one in Brandon has so I went with a hotdog and pizza for the kids and also got a pretzel. Sams Club has made a terrible decision to sell boneless skinless chicken breasts and other parts in plastic pouches full of water rather than in packages that you can see each breast. I bought the new chicken and I am very disappointed in the quality. The chicken is shredded and mangled and soaked with water. Very low quality causing me to consider ending my membership. I have found that Cosco is presenting their chicken the same way so no membership there. I will be going to a local butcher shop paying slightly more but getting a superior product. read more

You scan the items and pay on the app. As you walk out the sensors pick up your bar code. If you only have a few items, they don't usually need to scan one before exiting. This particular SamsClub is in a very busy location. Best time to shop is mid day after lunch. They have a great selection of bulk meat and vegetables, as well as other household items. Purchased 4 tires from Sam's club less than a year ago. The driver's side front is constantly losing air. Took my car back multiple times only to be told it was a weather situation; they refilled my tires and sent me home. Called this morning to let them know that now there is a bubble on the front tire. They said I could either walk in and take a chance on availability or wait until March 10th for an appointment. They person on the call was rude and did not seem to care about my situation. I paid a lot of money for those tires and expected better customer service. I guess I was asking for too much. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing tires from Sam's Club in the future. Great bang for the buck! Many items here even go on sale, but buying in bulk does save some money! We love the cafe (though often) slow, the food is good (not great) but for the money it is really good/cheap! They do often have La Croix (sparkling water), vitamin water, fantastic fruit and veggie options. They have fresh catch options often too! We love the spinach and artichoke dip with their round bread, very good! Again, our only qualm is that we would like to see more organic options. Overall, this place is pretty good though. read more

Sam's is perfect if you like to buy in bulk, shop ahead (pick up/delivery options) and want options to buy alcohol. This location is decent but they can suffer from being out of stock. My favorite feature of Sam's over other similar stores is Scan and Go. Just as described, this allows you to scan your items as you shop, skip the check out, then just show your digital receipt as you exit. If I'm going inside, I can't shop without this!! As a Plus member, I frequently use the pick up and delivery options as well. With the cash back option, it easy pays for itself. You should definitely check out the alcohol wether you are a member or not because the prices are excellent. The Members Mark vodka and tequila are great (especially if using in mixed drinks) and very inexpensive. We did not care for the gin or whiskey. Of course they carry some great name brands at great prices as well. Lastly, if the line isn't too crazy, be sure to fill up with gas while you are here as it's definitely the cheapest gas around. read more

I was thrilled to see the Sam's club sign and quickly pointed it out for John to fill up the gas tank. Prices for gas in the area are higher, being so close to the interstate- so it was a relief to use our membership to score lower prices. The gas station is tucked away in a corner and actually hard to see, but John had tanked up here before and knew where to drive to. My family and I have been a consecutive member of Sam's for more than a decade. The membership is worth it. People assume that it's all large bulk items but my husband and I, a household of 2 go about every other week. The plus membership has many perks. One of my favorites is 20% off eyeglasses. Every time I need a new pair or I need contacts, they are my go to. This past month I got new glasses; great quality Christian Siriano frame with lenses, lens thinning, and blue lens film (because I use the computer a lot) as well as 6 months of Acuvue oasis contact lenses and my total was about $250. No insurance! They will even replace the lens the first year if they get scratched. The pharmacy is another great spot for plus members. They offer discounts on certain prescriptions. We usually ask them to run the insurance and the plus membership to see which option is cheaper and quite a few times the membership was a cheaper option! With covid and weekend lines, my next favorite thing is their Sam's app. Scan and pay straight from your phone and head to the exit. Great selection of produce and meats. We buy a pack of toilet paper and paper towels and they last well over a month. Great prices on clothes. People ask me where I get some of my clothes and are shocked when I say Sam's. Every workout leggings I own are from Sam's. Plus members also get free shipping online. Some orders I get ask quick as 2-3 days. read more

I won't renew my October Costco membership because Costco will not accept Discover in the warehouse, & I like earning Cash Back. Should you decide on Sam's Club, DEFINITELY enroll IN PERSON. As happy as I was to receive a free rotisserie chicken upon my first warehouse visit (it beats cooking for one), I learned when getting my picture taken for my card that Plus members get a $45 gift card immediately after enrolling in person. (The kind staffer gave me a choice-- the chicken or the gift card. Lol.) Costco seems a little more upscale, & has MANY MANY MANY more organic offerings, but I prefer Sam's Club-- it has a more blue collar feel to it & staff is MUCH friendlier. Sam's Club also has a much larger variety of restaurant, etc gift cards @ reduced prices & more reasonably priced gold & diamond jewelry (as well as a wider selection). I snapped lots of pics-- of the laundry, diaper, cereal, Christmas, & television aisles that seem to extend f-o-r-e-v-e-r; the bakery; pharmacy; hearing & optical depts; the wine section; the produce area w/ large cooler; tire center; rotisserie & meat cases; cell phone & computer area; & gift card displays, etc. There are fewer large appliances on display here compared to Costco, but all appliances can be found on the Sam's Club website. If it's bouquets of fresh flowers you want, Sam's has them-- different varieties & prices ($7 - $20). Currently, large pumpkins are available for $5.98 ea. Children's toys are sold here, as well as clothing for every member of the family. I'm quite sure I've omitted many other amenities, but anyone who wants to check out the warehouse prior to paying for a membership is allowed to do just that. (Just show up & request a free visit.) There are gas pumps here (which the nearby Costco lacks); the savings are decent. Parking & carts are plentiful. It's easy to enter & exit the lot using busy Bruce B Downs. I am leaving this in regards to the PHARMACY ONLY. I moved here from Ohio where the Sam's Club pharmacy and pharmacists were outstanding. With my M.S. I am on a lot of medications and purposely chose my prescription plan specifically to utilize Sam's club as my pharmacy. But since I have moved to Florida 3 months ago, I have been more than disappointed in the Sam's Club in Wesley Chapel on 56. I have been given misinformation as well as received voice mails from a pharmacist to return the call, yet not only is he never there, no one there can seem to tell me why he called. I have also been told over the phone one day that a prescription would be ready next day, only to be told the following day that it was on backorder for several months. I've even been told it was on backorder nationwide, yet was able to turn around and get it 3 days later in Ohio. Just a really disappointing pharmacy as well as their staff. read more

While traveling from Sarasota to Jacksonville we got a nail in our tire. We arrived at the tire department of Sam's. We were told by the man in the tire department that he could make the tire repair in about an hour. We were told there were two cars a head of us. We checked in an hour and we were told they were getting to it. We checked at the two hour mark and then we were told they now have 4 cars a head of us and only take walk in customers at the end of the day after all their appointments. On March 17 2019, I was going to purchase four 60 gal storage benches and one 100 gal storage bins. This required assistance. The floor CSR (Angelica) was very helpful and obtained a flatbed as well as reached out to another guy, who was nice (Alex), to assist with loading it. The storage bin was displayed on the floor. However, the storage bench was on the second level shelf. I wanted to see the depth of the storage bench prior to purchasing four of them which had a thin wire cord around one of the legs to prevent it from being moved off of the shelf. Angelica called for a member of management, per my request. I could hear the two supervisors (Arlene & Sean) attempt to deflect my request for a manager since they were talking on the walkie talkies. Angelica continued to request that one of them come since the customer is requesting a manager. The supervisor Arlene finally shows up and said "of course they can pull the item down for me to look at." At that time Angelica informed of the thin wires that are wrapped around each item on the second shelf. Arlene then goes to Sean to discuss. The CSR returned to me visibly frustrated with the lack of customer service that was about to be presented to me. Arlene then shows up with a ladder and informs that Sean instructed me (the customer) to climb a ladder that they are providing to look inside. I said I am not risking it falling and informed every couple of weeks they change planograms around which would require them to remove the wire, can they simply remove it to bring the item down and put it back on. At that time Arlene informed that Sean stated the wire could not be removed due to safety reasons. I replied, "So you don't think giving me a ladder to climb up is not a safety risk and you rather someone fall and sue you?" She laughed, removed the ladder, and walked away. What a freaking nightmare! Just pulled off I-75 and drove about 4 miles to get gas at Sam's for the best price. Get to the parking lot and there are 2 lines with about 8 cars in each curving around the building awaiting pumps! Couldn't figure out the hold up until we get to the pumps and about half have orange cones. I ask the Sam's employee about the cones and he says those pumps are out! After our wait and all the unaware people waiting I not so kindly suggested he let those behind us know!!! So we basically had a 20 something minute detour for nothing! We couldn't roll to a different pump since they ALL had huge lines of cars behind us with drivers clueless about the inefficient way of handling this situation!! read more

I love going to this Sam's Club location in Wesley Chapel. I can always find all that I need at this one-stop shop and buy most of it in bulk for cheap! Also, especially during the holidays, they have the best gifts and products for the best price. Just recently, I needed a new car battery change and my car dealership was charging me almost $300 for a replacement. My parents suggested me to check out Sam's Club to see if their auto and tires service department could do it for cheaper. I've always passed by the auto and tires department at Sam's Club but I've never gotten anything done from there. Man, have I been missing out (and paying a whole lot more on auto services all these years)! My battery ended up being about $116 ( the price might vary depending on what car you have)!! Also, the mechanic was super nice about even double-checking to see if I even needed a new battery and installed it in a very short amount of time. The wait isn't even that bad since you can shop around or eat at their café in the meantime. I am definitely going to consider getting my tires changed here in the near future. A few weeks ago, I bought 4 tires and paid to have them mounted, balanced and valve stems replaced. Within a week we had 2 flat tires and one tire was wobbling so bad I thought it was delaminating. Took it to another tire shop. Turns out the installer at Sam's had put dozens of 1/4 oz weights on each the rims, some of which were falling off causing the wobble. They did not replace the valve stems, except for one tire where they broke the air pressure sensor and tossed it away. Two of the tires had lug nuts that could be removed by hand. I've bought tires and had them mounted there before and the work was great. This time the work was dangerous. read more

I bought a pack of 3 gift cards and only one of them was activated, I don't have the receipts so I'm still trying to figure out what I can do. Their return policy could be better, maybe if they had a code on their items to see that we actually purchased it from them. I waited to be sure I wanted to give a 1 star review. I was a 23 year member of Sams Club, had a business membership and preferred going in around 7am to avoid the crowds. Just over a month ago I arrived about 7:30, been doing this for years. This time I was informed they no longer permitted those with business accounts to come in early only plus members and that I could upgrade to that membership for an additional $50. I was especially annoyed I was there the previous weekend without a problem. No warning, no nothing. I told the woman just let me in, get what I need this time and I'll come later future visits. She wouldn't permit that so I asked for a manager. The manager told me the same. I asked if they minded losing a customer of 23 years over this small issue. She didn't care. I asked for a refund on the membership. She didn't bother attempting to save me as a customer. Apparently 23 years as a customer doesn't matter. I'm so glad Sams is in a position to allow customers to discontinue supporting their business. After the refund I went to Costco, bought a membership and got most of what I needed. read more
