Mcdonough, GA April 10, 2021. Four months of wearing the ring, and no I didn't go outside in play In the dirt, No I wasn't putting my hands into bleach or any other solution. I was simply wearing the ring. which began two months after purchase, to tarnish. To add to injury to insult once I returned the associate kindly, said " the last associate put the ring into the wrong box, and took the diamond tester out to test it, and guess what? The ring was not a diamond and had barely any real diamonds in it. Even though it is advertised as 1ct REAL DIAMONDS ( nope lie & false advertisement) The ring was Moissanite is regarded as a diamond alternative, with some optical properties exceeding those of diamond. It is marketed as a lower-priced alternative to diamond that does not involve the exploitative mining practices used for the extraction of natural diamonds. I love this Sam's. I think the only other one that comes close, well two, are the one near North Point Mall and there is one in the Savannah area that I like. This location has everything that I like. It's always nice and clean, the staff is always friendly and helpful. The gas here is always 5-10 cents cheaper than the Jonesboro/Southlake Mall area location. Saturday's and Sunday's they are always having demonstrations and food tasting. I try not to eat at every station, but that's not always possible. If you are in the area please stop by this location. read more

I seem to spend most my time outside of work at retail locations. I really need to work on that. With that said, it would behoove me to give a review on This Specific Sam's Club. I have been to a few different Sam's Clubs and this one is not much different than the rest. As you shop here you do need to watch the prices because bulk does not always mean cheaper. Case in point, a big box of Hot Pockets gets you each individual Hot Pocket at about .70 cents each and you can find them on sale ever so few weeks at a store like Publix for .50 cents each when the 2 pack in BOGO. Even though not every thing is priced competitively, there are many things here that you can get no where else and you get the best deal even compared to online shopping. This specific location does seem to have a better handle on customer service that some of the others I've been do. More times that not, my cashier is friendly and smiles which is a positive. The negative is wait times. If the store is busy it takes them quite a bit of time to open extra registers to expedite the lines. If you choose to get hot food in their food court type place, you often have to wait, so if you are impatient, it might not be the best place to get a snack. In the end I'm going to continue to shop here as the need arises. read more

Sam's had a new promotion for Jan Feb 2021 The McDonough Store 1 1/2 hour away had 9 of the $1500. dollar Gazebos they had advertised in the national flyer. Paid the money, could not load it because they put the Gazebos in the wrong place and stacked stuff around it. That was the first 1 1/2 hour trip and standing in line for 30 min. They told us to come back tomorrow, they will unload the rack and get us one down and have it waiting in the front of the store. The next day another 1 1/2 hour trip and standing in line 30 min, The gazebo was not upfront as promised. Said they could not get them down, said come back tomorrow again. This time we asked the manager to give us a written promise that we could receive what we paid for. Hi, I just got to work and I am absolutely furious. For the past year or so, a small black honda fit with a handicap license plate drives down Jonesboro Rd in Mcdonough, Ga at a high rate of speed. He has cut me off several times before but today he cut me off and brake checked me for no reason. I had to slam on my brakes and go into the right lane to avoid hitting him. The car that I went behind was scared also as they were half way into the ditch by the time I got behind them. When we came to a red light he had stopped with no car in front of him at a red light and started cursing at me.  When he did that a motorcycle went around him and stopped in front of him.When the light turned green he passed the motorcycle so close I thought he was trying to hit him. While he was cursing at me, that's when I recognized who it was. He works in the Auto department at Sams in Mcdonough. He's a short latino guy with a salt and pepper beard. He drives a black honda fit with a handicap license plate. He has issues. This happened around 7:30 am today. I thought Sams opens at 8am, this all happened less than 5 minutes from Sams on Jonesboro rd there is no reason for this other than he's a maniac. I certainly won't get my tires there any more. read more

As much as I love Sams Club... the tire department - I got here right when they opened and there was one guy ahead of me. I'm going on 2hrs cause they didn't know what to do with the car before me. Then I walk back to the tire section and they have another car in there but it's not mine She seen me coming and just simply said you're next. Didn't let me get my question out. But ok maybe my face said it all. I've been told my facial expressions are Why do they have one technician working anyway. Now they helping someone else and my car still there! I came in last night to purchase a mattress set and made arrangements to pick it up at noon today. When I got here at 1:50 it was not pulled. The customer service agent went to find out what was going on after 30 minutes she said they had pulled one piece and was waiting on help to get the other. It is now almost an hour and I am still sitting here wasting my afternoon. This is why I paid last night and asked to pick up at noon. So it would be pulled and ready. Ugh! Very disappointed and frustrated. Also was told they help me load secure it because I would be by myself. Was informed once it was loaded that it was against their policy to secure loads. I understand that is insurance policy but I should have been told that last night when I asked if there would be the help I needed. Worst customer service situation in a long time. Decided to become a member of Sam's club two weeks ago, because I have heard such great things. My experience however has not been a pleasant one. The first time I went shopping I decided to go in-store and it was very chaotic, the store has a lot of stuff and not laid out in a way that's easy to shop. Today was my second time shopping and I decided to do curb-side pick up, the app was glitching so I was having a hard time notifying that I had arrived. When the employee came out with someone else's order I informed her I was having trouble with the app, she asked for my order number and after giving it to her she stated that my grocery order was already picked up. I informed her that was impossible because I was the only one authorized to pick up. She then had an attitude and stated the order was picked up and that her manager would have to view the cameras. She proceeded to load the guest parked next to me and afterwards returned to the store. Five minutes later she appeared outside with my order, still with a nasty attitude. She loaded my car and when I got home I realized I was missing two items. I called the store five times and had no luck with speaking with a manager. I decided to go on the Sam's Club chat and talk to someone and they were able to help me! Long story short I will not be returning or referring anyone to Sam's Club McDonough! read more

I love shopping here for the deals on meats and other needs. They lose three stars because of their food court. It is poorly managed. It's actually an epic fail. Their sundae machine is always down so they match McDonalds on that. The workers behind the counter act like you are bothering them when they actually should be doing their job. Then how do you run out of hot dogs? The lady acted she didn't care but said it would be over 20 minutes for hot dogs to come up. Then over half of the fountain drinks are out or broken. You can't really enjoy a quick meal while out shopping with family. The store overall is great. The staff in the grocery area are all friendly. read more

I just had the worse experience. I went to customer service to get my membership card. The line was long so I decided to go to the front to ask the lady of I could go shop and use the app and come back to get the card. The women name (Sara Fina). Looked at me then completely ignored me. I assumed at that point that I may have been mistakened so I decided to wait until she got a little closer so that I wouldn't have to yell. I politely asked her again and she dismissed me very rudely as if I was a child and ordered me to go to the back of the line. So I went to the line and waited. Once I got to Sara Fina I said (let's start over but I wanted you to know how little you made me feel by speaking to me very rude and nasty). She laughed at me and stated(ha I've never heard that in my life and no one has ever told me that I am a rude person). At that point I felt like the conversation was going no where and we were going back and forth and she refused to see my side being the customer. DeVaughn-the other customer service agent stepped in and tried to defuse the situation. After speaking to her she then stated that they didn't even have membership cards to give out. Which then frustrated me even more bc this could have been resolved had Sara Fina just been kind and answered the question. I then requested a manager. Which Belisha got involved. I told them that being a customer service agent the job responsibilities are to be kind and multitask. I provide Sara kindness and I expected that in return and Sara Fina did not provide me with this. There was time wasted and Sara Fina was not a very kind person. read more

I mostly get my membership for buying tires. They are under staffed and incredibly slow. I had to order the tires that I wanted. The guy said I had to come in before 2pm in order for them to install before closing. That is silly. I called for an hour to try to set it installation but they could not get someone to answer that extension. Finally got a manager for a refund. Used the customer pick up for the first time yesterday. Will never do that again. I spent $300 on a mixer that I could of gotten elsewhere (and should of). When I got to the pick up area on a Saturday at 1:00 pm the cage was closed tight. There was a woman in there blatantly ignoring us. Another employee finally came by and asked if I had a pick up. I said yes and she opened it up and I followed her in and walked up to the counter with the computer. The lady that had been ignoring me screamed "CUSTOMERS CANT BE IN HERE WHEN IM I HERE". It was awkward and uncalled for. I walked out in shock. The girl immediately locked up the cage and busied herself. I asked if she was getting my item and she said in a rude way that she had to find it. Both women appeared miserable and acted like they hated their jobs. If you chose to be in customer service then you should be friendly. These people where the opposite of friendly. This Sam's is slowly going down hill. I have been here twice a week for years and have never had worse customer service. Compared to other sam's club locations it seems that this one is under no management. For three weeks in a row I have stopped for a treat at the snack bar and each time they come up with a new reason for lack of product. The first time I asked they informed me that a worker didn't show up so they had to close 30 minutes early. The second time they didn't order enough inventory. The third the ice cream machine was broken and today was more of the same. I recommend going somewhere with better customer service for those of you looking for a quick treat! read more

This is by far one of the best Sam's Club ever! Yesterday I tried to make a purchase through my scan and go app. Well, I got 3 error messages. The app told me to go to a cashier. I paid for my items with the cashier. To my surprise when I got home and checked my bank account, I noticed that there were duplicate charges pending for the same amount. This morning I realized both charges cleared my account. I went to Sam's Club and spoke with management was informed of what I needed to get for my bank and bring back to discuss with Brandon. Brandon called the bank and confirmed and refunded my money immediately. There was no hassle, no skepticism, no added to attitude with staff or upper management. This was an absolutely pleasant experience and I feel confident in their ability to resolve issues in a professional and fair manner. read more

on September 18, 2018 I used the SAMS gas station (pump 6) at the 1765 Jonesboro Rd McDonough Ga 30253. When I proceed to remove gas handle from my car. The handle popped out and gas exploded out continuously. The gas exploded all over my car, my body, ruining my clothing, shoes, and jewelry. The gas went inside my car exposing gas fumes to my two year old son sitting in his car seat. A customer at the pump in front of me went to get the gas attendant for help. The attendant (Janice) checked the gas handle while checking she stated several times " this handle is stuck, this should not be happening, this is broke." The attendant shut the pump down, flagged and placed a coned in front. I asked Janice three times to call for a manager to come out. She replied " the managers do not come out here, you will need to go inside the store." I informed Janice that I don't want to transfer the gas from myself to my toddler son nor sit on my car interior. Janice stated "you don't have a change of clothes in your car?" I replied "No"in disbelief that she asked me that. I asked if she had any plastic. She gave me a garbage bag and restated that I have to go into SAMS club to speak with a manager and she would radio and let them know I was coming. Upon entering the store I transferred gasoline from myself to my son because he was touching me as I was getting him from his car seat. While waiting 10 minutes for the HR manager (Zachary) my leg, foot and arm began to burn slightly. When Zachary approached me. He made me walk crossed the from line to sit in the eating area to complete a incident report. A few things: At this point not only myself and son were exposed but customers and employees. He also had me sitting in the eating area which due to be soaked with gasoline it has now been transferred to the seat and the table. Zachary not once extended an apology, offered me a wet cloth, paper towels ect. SAMS is a grocery store and they have plenty of products that could've been offered however he did not. Zachary took my incident report. He stated he needed a picture of your car and claims will be in contact with you. That's how he ended our conversation and the he proceeded to the gas station. It's funny how I was told several times managers do not come out to the pumps but Zachary scurried across the parking lot after the report of this incident. This entire incident was a safety hazard and I was treated horribly. My safety nor my son's were considered in this matter. This company does not care for the well-being of their customers/children. I was told the store keeper was not at fault. Even though their employee (Janice) stated several times the pump was faulty. The pump was shut down for several days after my incident. Even though the noise of "click" sounded off when the gas was done pumping. However when I pulled out the gas handle gas continued to explode out. read more

I just came from Sam's Pharmacy picking up Meds. When it was my turn the girl who was ti check me out said I had 3 perceptions. I said I have 4. She said we are out of one. I told her I was completely out and I have to have some. She got attitude and started jerking the meds off the shelf and gave me a 3 day supply. I asked her if she was mad. She said Yes, some of the customers make me mad. I knew she was talking about me because she was fine before I asked to have a few to tide me over. I then told the pharmacist and she didn't even acknowledge me. I'm thinking very seriously about changing Pharmacies.. I have never seen her before so I take it that she is new, but when you are working with the public you should always have a smile and be nice. I recently lost a gold bracelet at the Pharmacy. Melissa Stephen, who check me out, found the bracelet and new I was next to the last customer she checked out. She felt that it was mine and left a voice message on my phone. The bracelet is over 30 years old. I went by the next day a picked up my bracelet. She would not let me reward her, as I really appreciated the fact that she tracked me down and the bracelet was returned. This doesn't happen very often in our day.
