A few "somethings for him" while she's flipping hemp price tags and eye-humping urban rustic displays. Oh, and they proudly offer pineapple grenade-shaped soaps that smell like a fire pit. The men's section takes up about 1/4 of the store and children's section less but you can find great used jeans including Levi's and some designer brands in a big range of sizes. You can even find housewares here if you like vintage decor. I recommend this store to anyone coming from the city or out of state because it's the last vestige of the more wild and arty culture that used to thrive in Gloucester in the 70's thanks in part to the store owner himself. The place really should be a historical landmark because of how much it has improved the culture of Gloucester. The owner is known for these incredibly imaginative fashion shows that over the years have raised money for good causes like the restoration of city hall downtown. His store is like a public art piece that's totally authentic. If you are an appreciator of that then you will enjoy supporting this business.

However, I wanted to look the manufacturer and took out my phone. Right when i took my phone out - before I had even unlocked it - the women managing the store came up to me and asked me what I was doing. I distractedly explained that I was just looking up the company that made the shirt and before I could think much about the question she said "So, you're not interested in purchasing it?" Before I could even respond - particularly because I was confused by the question since I WAS interested - she literally grabbed the shirt out of my hand and hung it back up. I was honestly in a state of shock and my friend, who was horrified, and I left immediately. I was most likely going to purchase that shirt and my friend and I had even talked about how we needed to come back. The experience I had today was so off-putting and surreal that I will be sure to never go back. And others should be aware.
