The doctor and np are good but the medical assistants are incompetent. My appointment was on Tuesday and as of Friday the new medication and refills have not been sent to my pharmacy.I need to followup constantly to make sure things are done to maintain proper care which some elderly patients cannot do. This office is ridiculous! Dr. Sampat must not care about the patients but she cares about getting that Medicare payment because her office staff especially Alezia or whatever her name is. How can you lie when a 80 yr old lady needs meds to treat Covid and keep saying that you are sending the prescription to pharmacy on a Friday when you close early and are not open on Sat. Alezia does not care about patients and just incompetent to handle phone calls. We made 5 phone calls to pharmacy and no prescription sent in. we Called Dr. Sampat office again and were told by Alezia that they were working in the chart about 30 mins before closing and nothing was sent. Just lies ! we are definitely going to switch doctors and everyone else should too. How can an 80 yr old lady rely on a doctors office like this ! read more

Don't waste your time, literally. They overbook patients, will forget you're there and why you're there. I was just needing to talk one on one with the Doc and didn't get seen until 2 hours later until I opened the door and poked my head out. I've been a patient there for a long time and my patience ran dry. What a let down. read more

HORRIBLE experience. If I could give NO stars, I would. Both my husband and I have had appointments with Dr. Sampat and on all occasions we have left feeling extremely uncomfortable. The office itself and the supporting staff are great, but Dr. Sampat has ZERO ability to communicate with her patients. We shared with her our reasons for the visit, then she discussed 70% of the issues, and then walked out of the room...never to return. Each time, we were left in the exam room with no final comment, like "You should schedule a follow up in XX week, please go to the check out desk". Upon calling to follow up on the lab-work that was done, they have no record of follow up appointments that were made at the last visit. The Dr. checks in on the follow up procedere once we come back in and just brushes off the fact that the treatment didn't help the issue. Clearly, I will never be returning to this Dr. I have otherwise had great relationships with Doctors in my past and usually use Yelp to praise businesses. Take a word of warning...Find another Doctor. Visiting here was a complete waste of time. Absolutely no progress has been made, and none of the results from treatments or tests have concluded in any sort of improvement. This Dr. is still "PRACTICING". read more

I should have listened when I read the other reviews. She refused to fill out a simple questioner from my mail order pharmacy that would've saved me $833.00 and that is the cost if my insurance did not cover it much less if it did. They even called her staff and asked if they could do it over the phone with them and they refused. I promptly called her office back and cancelled my next appointment and will never go back. I was advised by my pharmacy also to never do business with a doctor who will not do prior authorizations. I immediately called another doctor and asked if they had a problem with prior authorizations, which they do not and I made an appointment with them. read more

I rarely write reviews. Dr. Sampat has been my doctor for the last 3 years. She has managed my health very well. The best part is that she answers all my questions patiently. This is not a doctor for crybabies or for drug addicts who want their prescription refilled without questions. There have been multiple times when I have seen elderly patients come in just to thank her. If you care about your wellness, this is the doctor. If you want a lollipop everytime you visit, find a baby doctor. read more

Dr. Sampat seems to be an okay doctor but the rest of her staff is who seems to an issue. I've had bad experiences with her staff. It seems like a simple referral cannot he sent out in a timely manner. When I had my first appointment I asked for a referral to be done to see an allergist and still nothing this was back on 10/31. I have to keep calling them constantly and still nothing is done. I have quite a few things I would like to get done since I used to not have health insurance until now and my insurance requires a referral for specialists which wouldn't be an issue if they would just get stuff done in a timely manner. I've called my insurance and they have told me that as long as they are submitting the referrals that everything should be approved in 3 to 5 days but still I see no progress. The staff seems a bit unsure of themselves when speaking like they are always second guessing themselves and cannot give you a straight answer with confidence. Just run arounds. Dr. Sampat seems like she cares and she's a good doctor but she can be very short when talking and sometimes it feels like one cannot finish to state every concern one has during the appointment it all seems rushed. read more

HORRIBLE! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON BEING MISDIAGNOSED. Sampat is very unprofessional with her patients and even her staff. She yelled at one of those young girls for not knowing an answer. She later came into our room and yelled at the patient I took in. We mentioned that the patient had been vomitting and felt very sick and unable to breath, Sampat's answer was to simply "stop taking the meds the hospital provided." With no explanation or orders to get lab work to find the problem. The patient suffers from congestive heart failure and Sampat yelled at the patient, "YOU AREN'T TAKING YOU MEDICINES THATS WHY YOU FEEL THIS WAY!" The patient had been taking the meds on a daily basis as directed but yet Sampat's directions to "Stop taking the meds if they make you sick" (never suggesting another option or medication) this order completely contradicted her angry response earlier! I can't believe she would treat a patient this way. Patient was later admitted back into the hospital because the meds that Sampat told her to take for "ANXIETY" was actual heart failure and a leaking valve in her heart along with water in her heart! GOOD JOB SAMPAT! ANXIETY? The patient was completely unable to breath while leaving her office and Sampat's response was just to take the patient back to the ER. Please, PLease, Please, I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. I can't believe this woman "DOCTOR" has a degree in internal medicine but yet couldn't diagnose or TRY to find the ACTUAL PROBLEM! Oh by the way..that patient was almost on her way to recieve a triple bipass surgery if we hadn't gotten the patient to a better hospital out of town. Luckily they ran test to find that she was retaining water that was built up around her heart! Sampat also metioned that the patient could drink as much water as the patient wanted because she wasn't sick. Directions from the hospital were to only ingest certain amount a day, Sampat insisted otherwise. This review is for her office staff and appointment policy. After reading about Dr Sampat's specialties, I tried to get an appointment for my husband who was recently discharged from the hospital with congestive heart failure. I was told that before I could make an appointment I had to pick up registration material at the office and fill out insurance forms. I explained that we were over 40 miles away and I am my husband's sole caregiver, but that didn't matter. Apparently GETTING PAID is their priority. read more

Dr Sampat is a good Doctor! I have been out of insurance for a few years and I finally got HMO insurance which you are assigned a doctor so I got online to read reviews to check the doctor out hoping I would read great reviews because I really wanted a good doctor and after I read the review I wanted to change doctors but I went ahead and went and so glad I did! Dr Sampat was very thrall, she took her time, listened to what I had to say answered all my questions and I watch Dr Oz so I have a lot of questions I basically had the total opposite experience that the other reviewer had. Dr Sampat wanted test done and wanted a follow up she really seems to care, her staff was also great very nice and professional. You will have a wait but for me its worth it, I would rather have to wait to see a good doctor that cares than very little wait with a doctor that does not care and in the valley we have several of those. read more
