This felt very unusual/uncomfortable as not even a quick look toward me to let me know I was seen etc. but even if this was odd, I finally received my haddock plate to go and I have to say I don't think the haddock was fresh as it was a chewy like frozen fish and not flakey like fresh or it was way over cooked. Too bad as I was really looking forward to a fish plate. I give three stars being generous and I'm not trying to ruin the restaurant as i hear the sandwiches are good. I do recommend Fresh Pond Seafood in Arlington ( i know a big difference in location but I visit this place every Tuesday on my way back from Encore and it is excellent, also Kimballs Farms in Westford and Lancaster also have amazing fresh fried haddock and seafood plates! Sorry based on my one-time experience, I can't recommend Sweet and Salty for fried Haddock plates

I know you're thinking just another burger place... wrong these burgers are so well prepared you'll be planning a return visit before you even leave, just one bite tells you these talented folks are masters at creating delicious food. I recently had one of their Smash Burgers naked (no condiments or lettuce, tomato, pickle) with just cheese. There was nowhere to hide either its quality product prepared perfectly or it's not and let me tell you it was perfection... the soft pillowy bun, the perfectly seared crust created when smashed at just the right time, an a seasoning blend that will have you craving another one days later. I can't wait to try their chicken sandwich. Seems like since COVID, quality food prepared well and friendly efficient customer service have disappeared in the food business. These folks "get it" and understand you could make the same thing at home so it needs to be something special and that is the shear genius of their menu... keep it simple and do it exceptionally well. If you don't believe me or think I'm exaggerating give them a try... you won't be disappointed.

Not much atmosphere; it's more about the food. Three visits under my belt. -- Fried Pickles: Fried perfection, executed for my liking better than most southern or barbecue restaurants. Crisp, light batter, plenty of tartness peeking through, moist pickle slices inside, and salt to bring it all home. A little heavy on the salt, but I'm a salt guy. -- Double Bacon Cheeseburger: Patties a little on the dry side, but that can happen with smash burgers. To offset this, the soft, fresh bun and every condiment came through with freshness and good preparation. The cheese is cheddar. The bacon, straddling that line between crispy and chewy, impressed with both texture and pleasingly strong cure flavor. -- Buffalo Chicken Sandwich: Again a quality flexible bun, housing a gigantic portion of light fried chicken hanging out the edges. It's thigh meat, so very juicy under the batter. A little cold from the tomatoes, and a little light on the Buffalo sauce, but not a problem. I like that the blue cheese came in crumbled as opposed to liquid, adding a nice texture. Ditto the onions. Good sandwich. -- Bacon Cheese: Went single patty on this one, finding it juicier than the first burger. Good all around presentation, with every condiment again fresh. Cheese is white American. Special praise for the bacon, which came in slightly underdone, but that's how you get the most flavor-- and this brought deep cured flavor once again. If I'm eating bacon as finger food, I want it more crispy, but on a burger? The way they did it here is just fine by me. And that pliable bun was just right. -- Onion Rings: Not on the chalkboard menu as of now, but an option. Thin, crunchy, and pretty good. Not sure if scratch made. -- Fries: A huge allotment on the $3 "make it a meal" option. But alas, a frozen product, and somewhat bland and somewhat limp. Though not fancy, the beef is fresh, pressed down into the griddle from 3" balls of it. They're smashburgers by name, but they don't bring the extra thin, extra dark and crispy edges as the smashiest. On the other hand, they're thicker, softer, and leaning juicier. Simple place, simple food, mostly done well.

It's been awhile since we were in Worcester so I decided to revisit New England roast beef. They absolutely delivered a great experience with healthy sized portions and more than reasonable prices. The staff at the counter were fantastic, friendly and helpful. My giant roast beef sandwich on an onion roll with lettuce tomato, onion and horseradish sauce was great. I paired it with a cup of clam chowder. Creamy, well seasoned packed with perfectly cooked potatoes and plenty of clams was right on point. My daughter and her boyfriend got the steak tip dinner. They are located on N Main St, Leominster on a pretty busy main road. Pulling in, there are about 13 spots all around with an additional 5 spots in front of the connected business. Actually, now that I am writing this review and referencing Google Maps, I had no idea there were several more spots behind the business. Either way, it can be a little hectic if you pull into the lot during a busy hour as it can be tricky to wait or navigate around other people trying to back out of their spot. This place feels like a time capsule. Everything appears old fashioned and unchanged in the 13+ years I've been coming here. The large glass windows lets in a lot of natural light if you decide to stay in and eat. I've always had lovely interactions with all of the staff here. As expected the bagels here are top tier. I will admit I'm no bagel expert or snob, but even my amateur experience can recognize these guys sell bagels many quality tiers above store-bought bagels. My go-to item to get here is actually their Chicken Salad Club Panini. The bread is perfectly toasted, the raw onions have a great bite to them, the bacon adds more texture and saltiness and the tangy honey mustard ties it all together to make one of my most favorite sandwiches. Another treat I love to get is their Pistachio Muffin microwaved with butter. It is heavenly, as are a lot of their other muffins. As you approach the counter, they offer a lot of their cream cheeses for sale. I am obsessed with their French Vanilla cream cheese. I cannot recommend this place enough. 10/10
