I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to find, how short the walk is from my parking space and how clean the beach is. There were a few people along the beach as well as a few surfers in the water. Polite dogs and their walkers would stroll by on occasion. I thoroughly enjoyed lounging in my chair and reading while the sound of the waves calmed my soul. I look forward to returning on my next visit to the area.

This is one of the more interesting beaches that I've been to. There is some grassy wetland, a small cove, and plenty of beach line. You can explore and find lots of interesting things or you can just sit and listen to the waves. We brought our dog and she really enjoyed it. There were also lots of other people with their dogs there. I can't say for sure what the rules are about your dogs being leashed, but we only saw one dog on leash. Our pup was able to play with some other dogs and enjoy the water. We ended up spending much longer here than we had anticipated because we enjoyed it so much.

There are the Ma-le'l Dunes North and the Me-le'l Dunes South, both of which have lots of different trails. We hiked around in the the sand dunes on a trail that led to the beach and it was a beautiful hike. It was nice to hang out on the beach and watch the waves. You can walk along the beach and it's nice that there isn't many people around. We also hiked up the dunes to where the spruce trees met the forest. It was fascinating to see trees in the sand and where the dunes and the forest meet up close. This was such a fun place to explore! There is plenty of parking. There is a bathroom near where you park and doggy bags. Please bring your own doggy bags and leave no trace! This is a beautiful place worth exploring!

My instructor was very well versed and accredited to teach the course. He was also extremely patient with us newbies and took into account that we each had different body types and physical abilities. I especially appreciated the philosophy of the importance of safety at every moment. There were certainly little nuances I would not have thought of on my own. Best of all, it was REALLY FUN! I got to shoot 21 different firearms and it facilitated my understanding of what works for me and what I'd like to explore more. I recommend this course for anyone who is new to the sport or even the old dogs with rusty skills. I'm now an old dog with new skills and appreciation.

There are a variety of options for ingredients for your sandwiches on the river and delicious, homemade salsa. Michael and Wanda are great hosts making sure you have everything you need. The rafting equipment is well maintained. Our evenings were topped off sitting around a campfire. Anyone would be fortunate to spend time a couple of days with Redwoods and Rivers.

Our group was age 10 - 64 and everyone survived :-) *** request Chris *** I guess I didn't realize how potentially dangerous it was until a couple of our teenagers fell out of the raft during a rapid.... But they were ok... Only bruises and some scrapes. They would do it all over again.... Falls and all. We went on a Class III tour which included Class I - III rapids. It's sort of "medium adventurous". If you have a lot of younger or older people in your group, you are probably good sticking with a Class I - II tour. But you will be safe during a Class III if you tell your guide that you can't swim, don't want to be thrown from the raft, etc. TIPS: DRINK A LOT OF WATER, show up early, expect to be exhausted the next day, expect to do a little hiking / climbing during lunch, Bring sunscreen, get one of those things that help your sunglasses stay around your neck because you will lose them, wear a visor or a cap under your helmet, bring cash to tip your guide because they do a hell of a job and they only make $100/day. IT'S A LOT OF FUN and the owners are really nice people.

No fridge anywhere, no microwave in cabin but theres one in the office, along with coffee, tea, and hot coco, but you can only get it when the office is open, which is basically never. The hot tub was quite frighteningly colored, buttttt i got in anyway and havent died or broken out yet. So i guess the human soup is safe ish The washing machine situation was nice though, if you download the app you get a free wash or dry, and if you download it on a different phone you get another free one... just saying. The pillows are so small that at one point i thought i had lost the pillow off the bed but then i looked and it was there. It was basically a sheet of paper with a pillowcase. Pictures were inaccurate on airbnb, which wasnt my fave but oh well. Good for camping but not accurately listed sooo do with that what you will. It was fun but go into it as YOU ARE CAMPING. Yesterday, I saw campers playing chess with the life-size chess game, there's a playground - the pool and hot tub are closed right now pending inspection from the city, so that can't be helped. The woman who works in the office is so friendly and helpful - unlike the first four RV parks I checked out. I just double-checked to make sure I am reviewing the right place. The grounds are beautiful - the cabins are adorable - the campsites are clean and inviting - I walked the whole property yesterday and didn't see any old, run-down residential RVs. There are lots of people staying here, many young families with small children, and everybody seems to be friendly and happy. The only legitimate "complaint" is that the Wifi doesn't always work, but the management is working on making the Wifi more reliable. In short, I am so glad to be here and feel extremely lucky that I found this campground when I needed to move my RV.

Furnished Finders is made for medical professionals, and I'm disgusted that this owner, Jonathan, would take advantage of medical professionals who are on strict schedules and time limits and can't afford to be screwed around by Humboldt-born gold-spooners.

This site was a good fit. We had to park the Jeep away from our site because there wasn't any room for it. The park and people working here were good. The grounds around the RV park were in poor condition. The grass between the sites were very long. No edging either. The WiFi was good and the place was clean otherwise. The big problem was the street access coming into and exiting the RV Park was terrible! Pit holes so large you would of thought land mines had gone off. This is unacceptable!!! Going in and out each day was a major chore. Kind wouldn't stay here again unless the road is fixed. Oh heck no!!!!!
