I literally drove up and down the shopping plaza and almost gave up. I pulled into a parking spot, looked at reviews, scrolled and scrolled and bam! Someone was super helpful with where it was actually located. So now, I felt the need to put that as the first thing to read on the review haha. There's plenty of parking! Just beware of your surroundings, there were a few homeless people walking around begging/going up to cars. Definitely seems like this is an overall ongoing issue in Charlotte as a whole. The market is massive but I didn't buy anything from the store. I definitely wanted to buy some snacks from different countries in Asia but I had sushi leftovers in the car so I was trying to make it a quick trip. I made my way to the very right side of the store where the bakery and food stands were. The cashier was friendly and I ordered quite a bit of bakery items including a taro bun, red bean cream bun, macaroons, a cookie, and a Thai tea with boba. Everything was delicious, no complaints! I do wish more things were in stock but being that everything tasted great, I'm sure Hong Kong Bakery gets a lot of traction. This is a great small bakery. The location is hard to find but just remember...it's inside the grocery store. When you enter the building, turn right, and go all the way straight until you pass the cash registers and home goods section. You'll see it! Enjoy!

It's so hard to find authentic HK style baked goods in NC & I finally found it here. The breads are very fresh, fluffy, generously sized and well flavored. The egg tarts & sesame balls are excellent too. Definitely will be a haunt for me when I'm in the area. This is also locally owned so support your small mom & pop businesses.

This location had a large table for a group as well as some smaller tables for a few people. There were also some tables outside. The interior was decorated cutely. In terms of service, the workers were friendly but my drink took a little longer than I expected to come out... like it was ready after a bunch of other people got their orders (who were behind me in line), so that was interesting. I got the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte! This was on their seasonal menu so I definitely wanted to try it. It either came in matcha or espresso form, but the worker recommended matcha to me. Upon the first sip, I definitely tasted the matcha. It was a bit earthy tasting, but not the earthiest I have had. After I mixed the drink together (little pushing the vanilla wafers down to breakdown into little pieces), the banana pudding taste really came through. I am not a fan of matcha, but I enjoyed the drink... probably because the banana pudding flavor overpowered the matcha flavor after mixing everything thoroughly. If you like matcha, then this is your go-to spot in Charlotte! There is probably something most people would like here as they also have non-matcha options as well.

The first time was about 3yrs ago so I came here with no expectations other than maybe the drink being more up to my standards. The service of tea fusion is very good. As soon as we walked in there was someone ready to take our order. The decor around the place was cute too! I would say the only thing going on with the place was that the AC was not working and they had mini fans going off around the place. I ordered a strawberry milk tea with tapioca balls. The presentation of the drink was good. My first sips were also very good. But as i continued to drink I noticed that my milk tea was really sweet, a little more than what I would have liked. Then I noticed that the tapioca balls were also with a weird consistency which is what I didn't like about them last time as well. If I have the chance to come back I def would try something new like a refresher.
