I called him back 3x that night (on his cell), and texted never to hear anything back. So disappointing that a business owner wouldn't take responsibility or at least try to find some solution. If you're in the 28104 area code DO NOT use the Kona Ice that's districted for us. You stand a good chance of being disappointed.

We always try to have something extra at parties so I have worked with many different companies and business owners. From the beginning Scott's email responses were very unprofessional. After the deposit was paid, he did confirm that we were on his calendar and I had a list of what was included. A few days before the party I emailed again to double check and confirm the date and time once again and to see what else was needed from me before the party and he responded "we're good." The day of the party they didn't show up so I waited 20 mins and called to see if they needed help with directions. Luckily Scott answered the phone but had not checked his schedule or sent the truck. He said they would be there in 40 minutes. An hour later the truck showed up with the happy birthday song playing quietly. I was hoping things were getting better but the lady with the truck was not the friendliest, there was no birthday bag or special treatment for the birthday girl that was included except for a larger cup and there definitely wasn't an hour of Hawaiian entertainment. Luckily the kids still enjoyed but I would recommend renting a truck from a different Kona ice owner.

They are so unique and delightfully surprising! They were such a hit at our wedding and brought a unique element. Not only can you chose between amazing flavors, but you can also customize the names of the signature flavors that you pick out! They were so professional, confident, personable, and such a pleasure to work with! They were so great with my husband and I, making sure they were set up the way we wanted and so great with our guests! Our flavors we chose were amazing and you can tell the difference with the flavors that they use! They are all organic and you can DEFINITELY tell! In terms of service, the workers were friendly but my drink took a little longer than I expected to come out... like it was ready after a bunch of other people got their orders (who were behind me in line), so that was interesting. I got the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte! This was on their seasonal menu so I definitely wanted to try it. It either came in matcha or espresso form, but the worker recommended matcha to me. Upon the first sip, I definitely tasted the matcha. It was a bit earthy tasting, but not the earthiest I have had. After I mixed the drink together (little pushing the vanilla wafers down to breakdown into little pieces), the banana pudding taste really came through. I am not a fan of matcha, but I enjoyed the drink... probably because the banana pudding flavor overpowered the matcha flavor after mixing everything thoroughly.
